Abstract

Transparency and accountability are important principles in village governance that serve to realize good governance. This study aims to analyze the strategies employed by village governments in establishing transparent and accountable administration, as well as to examine various efforts undertaken to improve the quality of village governance. This research employed a qualitative approach using a case study design. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving the village head, village officials, members of the Village Consultative Body (BPD), and community members as research informants. Data analysis was conducted using the model developed by Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña, which includes data collection, data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing. The validity and credibility of the data were ensured through source triangulation and technique triangulation. The findings indicate that the village government's strategies for achieving administrative transparency include providing easily accessible public information, conducting village deliberation meetings, involving community members in decision-making processes, and utilizing information technology as a medium for information dissemination and administrative services. Meanwhile, the strategies for achieving administrative accountability include strengthening a well-organized and systematic administrative system, improving the competence of village officials, reinforcing supervisory mechanisms, and implementing information technology-based administrative systems. These strategies have proven effective in enhancing information openness, strengthening the accountability of village governments, increasing community participation, and building public trust in village governance. Therefore, administrative transparency and accountability are essential factors in creating a professional, effective, and community-oriented village government.

Abstract

Village administrative management is one of the important factors in supporting the implementation of effective and high-quality public services. A well-organized village administration system can assist village officials in managing the data, documents, and information required to provide services to the community in a timely, accurate, and accountable manner. This study aims to analyze village administrative management in supporting community services and to examine its contribution to improving the quality of public services. This research employed a qualitative approach using a case study design. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving village officials and community members as service recipients. Data analysis was conducted using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña model, which includes data collection, data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing. The validity of the data was ensured through source triangulation and technique triangulation. The results of the study indicate that effective village administrative management plays a significant role in supporting the implementation of community services. A well-organized and systematic administrative system enables village officials to manage data efficiently, accelerate service processes, improve information accuracy, and support the effectiveness of village governance activities. Furthermore, village administrative management contributes significantly to improving the quality of public services through enhanced service efficiency, transparency, accountability, service reliability, and increased public trust in the village government. Therefore, strengthening the village administrative system, improving the competence of village officials, and utilizing information technology are essential factors in achieving high-quality public services that are oriented toward community satisfaction.

Abstract

Technological advancements require educational institutions to transition from manual to digital management to increase efficiency. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Educational Management Information System (EMIS) in improving the effectiveness of school administration. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach in a school environment. Data collection was conducted through observation, documentation, and interviews with administrative staff, the school principal, and teachers. The results show that the integration of EMIS significantly accelerates the processing of student data, financial management, and the compilation of academic reports. The main obstacles encountered include limited digital infrastructure and variations in the technical readiness of human resources. However, with structured training, EMIS is proven to cut administrative workload time by more than 40% and reduce the risk of data entry errors. In conclusion, EMIS is a crucial instrument in creating transparent, accurate, and accountable school governance.

Abstract

Santri (student) data management in Islamic boarding schools (pondok pesantren) often faces challenges such as data redundancy, slow information retrieval, and the risk of physical document loss. This study aims to analyze the implementation of Management Information Systems (MIS) in managing santri data to improve the efficiency, accuracy, and integration of academic and administrative information. The research method employed is descriptive qualitative with a system analysis approach using the PIECES framework or SWOT analysis. Data collection was conducted through observation, interviews, and documentation studies at the pondok pesantren. The results indicate that the transition from a conventional system to a digital-based MIS can significantly reduce data processing time, facilitate reporting to santri's parents or guardians, and support decision-making by the boarding school leadership. However, the main constraints encountered include limited IT infrastructure and the readiness of human resources (operators). This study concludes that MIS implementation is highly crucial for the modernization of pesantren, yet it requires management commitment in continuous human resource training.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the management of Pondok Pesantren Al-Khoirot (PPA) Malang in implementing an educational system that integrates traditional values with modern innovations. The method used is qualitative field research with subject determination techniques through purposive sampling and time sampling. Data collection was conducted through interviews, observation, and documentation, which were then analyzed using data reduction and data display. The results indicate that PPA Malang applies an integrated education system combining character education, religious knowledge, general sciences, and soft skills. The pesantren's management merges traditional (salaf) methods, such as the study of classic texts (kitab kuning) using "makna gandul", with modern educational frameworks. Featured programs include optional Tahfidz Al-Quran and Modern Arabic, alongside mandatory formal education (Kejar Paket B/C) for school-aged students to ensure state-recognized academic credentials. The novelty and implications of this research highlight the pesantren's success in transforming its management to produce a generation of "scholar-clerics" (ilmuwan-ulama) who are adaptive to contemporary developments without abandoning their traditional religious identity. These findings are expected to contribute to the advancement of Islamic education management, particularly in the governance of contemporary Islamic boarding schools.

Abstract

Islamic educational leadership faces the challenge of integrating managerial professionalism with the spiritual and moral values that form the foundation of Islamic education. This study aims to analyze the concept of prophetic value-based Islamic educational leadership from a philosophical perspective and to formulate a conceptual model for the development of Islamic Education Management. Employing a library research method with a philosophical-conceptual analysis, the study examines scholarly literature on Islamic leadership, prophetic leadership, and Islamic educational management. The findings indicate that prophetic Islamic educational leadership is constructed through four main components: the philosophical foundation of tawhid and humans as khalifah; transformational orientations of humanization, liberation, and transcendence; leadership characteristics reflected in shiddiq, amanah, tabligh, and fathanah; and their implementation in educational management practices. The proposed conceptual model demonstrates that Islamic educational leadership extends beyond organizational effectiveness toward developing individuals with strong character and fostering civilized educational institutions. This study contributes to strengthening an Islamic educational leadership paradigm that integrates spiritual, moral, and managerial dimensions.

Abstract

Digital transformation has fundamentally changed the management of educational institutions, including Islamic education. These changes require educational institutions to develop adaptive management systems by strengthening leadership, governance, and educational quality. This study aims to analyze the transformation of Islamic educational management in the digital era through a literature review, focusing on the roles of leadership, governance, and educational quality. The study employed a qualitative approach using a library research design. Data were collected through documentation studies of scholarly journal articles, books, and relevant academic documents and were analyzed using content analysis to develop a conceptual synthesis. The findings indicate that digital transformation is not merely related to the adoption of information technology but also requires comprehensive changes in educational management systems. Successful transformation depends on adaptive leadership, transparent and accountable digital governance, and the readiness of human resources to implement innovation. The synergy among these elements contributes to improving organizational effectiveness, educational service quality, innovation culture, and the overall quality of Islamic education. This study proposes a conceptual framework positioning digital transformation as the primary driver for strengthening leadership, governance, and educational quality, thereby providing a theoretical and practical reference for the development of Islamic educational management in the digital era.

Abstract

PT Citrabaru Adinusantara operates cargo, pioneer, and container vessels, including KM Kendhaga Nusantara 14, where occupational accidents remain a potential risk. This study aims to analyze the factors causing occupational accidents among the crew of KM Kendhaga Nusantara 14, with a focus on the accident that occurred on September 26, 2025. A descriptive qualitative method was employed using a snowball sampling technique. Data were collected through observation, documentation, and triangulation. The findings indicate that occupational accidents were mainly caused by low safety awareness, negligence, and lack of discipline in complying with safety procedures. These factors occurred despite the company having implemented Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), conducted safety meetings, and carried out work supervision. Preventive measures include strengthening compliance with SOPs, improving supervision, providing regular safety training, conducting risk assessments, and fostering a stronger safety culture to minimize occupational accidents.
