Abstract

The purpose of this study was to 1) determine the level of vegetable preferences preschool children’s, 2) identify differences in vegetables preferences in rural and urban preschoolers, 3) and knowing factors related to vegetable preferences in preschool children’s. This type of research is a descriptive study with 34 subjects of preschool children in rural and urban city. Data collection using observation, test, questionnaires and semi-quantitative food frequency questionnaire. The results showed that the level of vegetable preference in children in rural areas was higher than in urban areas. Mothers in rural areas have a higher score than mothers in urban areas on the variable availability of vegetables at home. Urban mother’s nutritional knowledge is better than rural mothers. Family income in urban areas has a higher score than income in rural areas. Factors that are significantly related to vegetable preferences in children are the child's response to the aroma and shape of vegetables, knowledge of maternal nutrition and family income. There is a significant negative relationship to family income variables and vegetable preferences that are preferred by children. While the mother's nutritional knowledge variable has a significant positive relationship with vegetable preferences that are preferred by children. However, the variable availability of vegetables at home there is no significant relationship with the preferences of vegetables that are preferred by children. Abstract

Youtube is a widely accessed new media. During its development, Youtube has enabled its viewers to become producers and consumers. This has resulted in many new profit-oriented content creators, by creating content with sensual elements. This has reaping criticism from previous content creators on Youtube, one of them is SkinnyIndonesian24. This study aims to see how SkinnyIndonesian24 packs a criticism of sensuality through the content "Youtube's Got Talent". This study used descriptive qualitative approach and analyzed using CDA by Norman Fairclough. At the text level, criticism of sensuality is found in clauses, combinations of clauses, relations, and the identity of content creator who’s trying to display. In the discourses analysis level, the text examined by observing the content creator and how the efforts to presenting reality in the content. At the sociocultural practice level, texts are examined by looking at external factors that influence the society interpret something. The conclusion is sensuality content is used as a tool to increase popularity for some content creators on Youtube. The reality in the content illustrates the real enthusiasm of netizens in consuming sensuality content. Unwise packaging of sensuality content only leads to increased popularity and decreased quality of content on Youtube. Keywords: Youtube ; Sensuality ; Content Creator ; Critical Discourses Analysis.

Abstract

Over the last few years, advertising is constantly changing and continues, it’s easy to access because they can be published in various media such as print, electronic, and new internet-based media such as Youtube. Advertisements often put images of gender and human figures, both women and men. In Indonesia, women and beauty standards are mythified in graceful, traditional way, and live according to what society has constructed. Media has involved in shaping the definition of beauty and expectation for women in a wide audiences. Beauty industries has take advantages of this, by creating beauty expectation to offer women to gain profit. This research wants to reveal women’s representation which seen in the Vaseline “Stepout” advertisement. Researchers uses a qualitative methods using John Fiske’s semiotic analysis, namely interpreting an audio-visual advertisement by looking at reality, representation, and ideology. The results of this study explain that the Vaseline “Stepout” advertisement gives women of courage to-get-out from the myths of beauty standards that have been constructed by media. Researchers also see the myths of beauty is interpreted by the word-itself, coupled with the construction of cultural hope which limit women’s movements to achieve their dreams. Abstract

The government has a big role in handling the Covid-19 pandemic. In his duties, dr. Reisa Broto Asmoro provided information related to the development of the Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia in the form of speeches and questions and answers. In “The Second Stage”, Friedan (1980) encouraged women to become women. Now women have obtained the same rights as men, one of which is in the public space. Cheris Kramarae (1981) states that the language of a particular culture does not support all speakers equally. The purpose of this study is to determine the existence of women's gender equality in the public sphere. Research using Sara Mills critical discourse analysis with rhetoric theory, this silent group theory concludes that in the rhetoric delivered by dr. Reisa Broto Asmoro still shows the clear dominance of male perceptions and then inhibits women's expression of the world. Female characteristics are not accepted by the public. This shows that women until now to be able to participate in society, they have to transform the model according to the male expression system even though the pathos, ethos and logos of women have evidence in rhetoric and rhetorical sensitivity. Ironically, silencing is not only from the dominant but also from fellow women. Even though there has been gender equality, there is still implicit oppression of silence. Abstract

The need for legal protection for children is very important for society, technological developments have also led to an increase in various crimes that can happen to anyone, including children. In order for every child to be responsible for defending his nation and state in the future, every child must have the widest opportunity to grow and develop optimally both physically, mentally and socially. However, the best interests of the child must always come first, especially if the child is a victim of sexual abuse. Because supervision of children is very important both in terms of maintaining and quality of life and the future of the nation, crimes of sexual violence against children must be dealt with immediately and the rights of children as victims of crime must be addressed. protected Based on the research results it can be understood that the legal protection of child victims of sexual crimes is based on law. Factors causing the occurrence of sexual crimes against minors are internal factors such as weakening of faith/trust, psychosocial disturbances and sexual disturbances. External factors include moral values and customs, poverty/economic factors, the mass media. Precautions for minor sex crimes, ie. environmental socialization, legal counseling for schools and the community. Keywords: Socialization, Sexual Violence, Minors.

Abstract

Cases of sexual violence against children can be likened to an iceberg, of which only a small number are reported while most are not reported. The stigma in society that views sexual violence as shameful makes victims afraid to report. Integrated handling of cases of sexual violence against children to ensure the fulfillment of children's rights is very important. This research aims to describe the implementation of assistance to child victims of sexual violence carried out by the Burangir Institute. The type of research used in this study is descriptive qualitative research. The data collection technique used observation, documentation and interviews. Data validity is seen by using data triangulation techniques, while data analysis goes through three processes, namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the implementation of assistance to child victims of sexual violence by the Burangir Institute began with the establishment of a relationship of trust, followed by data collection and diagnosis of the child's mental health condition. Plans and interventions included emotional support, provision of information and legal education, monitoring the legal process, and access to support resources. Evaluation is used to assess the effectiveness of the assistance. Finally, the termination stage is conducted. Then, in the implementation of mentoring at the Burangir Institute, there are supporting factors and obstacles that affect the mentoring process. Abstract

This research focuses on the implementation of reminiscence therapy for the elderly at the Husnul Khatimah elderly griya in Malang Regency. In Indonesia, cases of neglect of the elderly by the family are quite high. This is evidenced by the number of neglected elderly people in the identification of PMKS (Persons with Social Welfare Problems) in East Java amounting to 173,871 people from the total population. Reminiscence therapy is very effective for the psychological healing of the elderly suffering from depressive disorders, in addition to reducing symptoms of depression, it has also been shown to increase self-esteem, life satisfaction, mental well-being and loneliness. The research method used was observation. The observation method was chosen because of its flexibility in use and can be supported by documentation. Based on the activities carried out, it shows satisfactory results, the elderly feel satisfaction with the activities received, happy for the arrival of young people who are considered as children and family and the desire of the elderly to continue to be able to gather with servants and students.
