Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan dominasi kelas yang terjadi dalam masyarakat kapitalis dan akibat yang timbul oleh dominasi kelas itu sendiri dalam roman Die Liebhaberinnen karya Elfriede Jelinek. Teknik yang digunakan penelitian ini adalah deskriptif-kualitatif. Pendekatan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan feminisme marxis. Sumber data yang digunakan untuk penelitian ini adalah roman Die Liebhaberinnen karya Elfriede Jelinek yang diterbitkan oleh Rowohlt Taschenbuch Verlag GmbH Hamburg pada tahun 1975. Data berupa kata, frasa, dan kalimat yang berkaitan dengan dominasi kelas dalam masyarakat kapitalis. Data diperoleh melalui teknik baca catat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dominasi kelas yang terjadi pada masyarakat kapitalis dalam roman Die Liebhaberinnen adalah (1) dominasi kelas dalam bentuk kapitalisme, (2) dominasi kelas dalam bentuk patriarki, (3) dominasi kelas dalam bentuk stratifikasi sosial, (4) dominasi kelas antar perempuan, dan (5) dominasi kelas dalam bentuk kepemilikan pribadi. Sementara itu, hal yang diakibatkan oleh dominasi kelas pada masyarakat kapitalis itu sendiri adalah (1) seksisme, (2) objektifikasi perempuan, (3) pembatasan hidup perempuan, (4) tuntutan terhadap perempuan untuk menikah, melahirkan, dan merawat anak, dan (5) dorongan terhadap perempuan untuk selalu bergantung pada laki-laki. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga menunjukkan bahwa kapitalisme memiliki peran dalam penindasan terhadap perempuan.   Class domination in capitalist society in Elfriede Jelinek’s novel die Liebhaberinnen: Marxist Feminism Study   Abstract: This research aims to describe class dominance in a capitalist society and the consequences of class domination in the novel Die Liebhaberinnen by Elfriede Jelinek. The technique used in this research is descriptive-qualitative. The approach used in this research is a Marxist Feminism approach. The data used as a source for this research is Elfriede Jelinek’s novel Die Liebhaberinnen, published by Rowohlt Taschenbuch Verlag GmbH Hamburg in 1975. The data are words, phrases, and sentences related to class domination in a capitalist society. The Data were obtained through reading and note-taking techniques. The validity of the data was obtained by semantic validity and expert judgment. The results show that class dominations that occur in a capitalist society within the novel Die Liebhaberinnen are (1) class domination in the form of capitalism, (2) class domination in the form of patriarchy, (3) class domination in the form of social stratification, (4) class domination among women, and (5) class domination in the form of private property. Meanwhile, the things caused by class domination in capitalist society itself are (1) sexism, (2) objectification of women, (3) restrictions on women's lives, (4) demands on women to marry, give birth, and take care of children, and (5) the encouragement of women to always be dependent on men. In addition, this study also shows that capitalism has a role in the oppression of women.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan: (1) fungsi yang melekat pada frasa preposisi dengan modifikator in yang terdapat dalam buku cerita anak Mein wunderschöner Schutzengel, (2) verba yang berkorelasi dengan preposisi in dalam buku cerita anak Mein wunderschöner Schutzengel. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah buku Mein wunderschöner Schutzengel Karya Kerstin Hermelink. Data diperoleh dengan metode simak dengan teknik catat. Uji validitas data penelitian ini yaitu konsultasi dengan para ahli (expert judgement). Instrumen penelitian ini adalah peneliti sendiri (human instrument). Uji reliabilitas menggunakan reliabilitas intrarater dan interrater. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) fungsi yang melekat pada frasa preposisi dengan modifikator in yaitu sebagai Ergänzung dan Angabe. Fungsi frasa preposisi dengan modifikator in sebagai Ergänzung terbagi menjadi 3  jenis fungsi yaitu Situativergänzung, Direktivergänzung, dan Präpositivergänzung. Fungsi frasa preposisi dengan modifikator in sebagai Angabe terbagi menjadi 4 jenis fungsi yaitu Lokalangabe, Temporalangabe, Modalangabe, dan Kausalangabe. (2) ditemukan 15 verba yang berkorelasi dengan preposisi in dalam buku cerita anak Mein wunderschöner Schutzengel. Verba tersebut yaitu springen, laufen, stehen, wohnen, liegen, kommen, gehen, sein, sitzen, fahren, arbeiten, schicken, setzen, hängen, dan beiβen   Abstract: This study aims to describe: (1) the function attached to prepositional phrases with the modifier in contained in the children’s storybook Mein wunderschöner Schutzengel,(2) verbs that correlate with the preposition in, in the children’s storybook Mein wunderschöner Schutzengel. This research is a qualitative descriptive research. The sources of data in this study is the book Mein wunderschöner Schutzengel by Kerstin Hermelink. The Data were obtained by observing method with note technique. The data validity test of this research data is consultation with the experts (expert judgment). This research instrument is the researcher himself (human instrument). The reliability test uses interrater and interrater reliability. The results of this study show: (1) The functions attached to prepositional phrases with the modifier are Ergänzung and Angabe. The function of prepositional phrases with the modifier in as Ergänzung is divided into three types of function, namely Situativergänzung, Direktivergänzung, and Präpositivergänzung. While the function of prepositional phrases with the modifier in Angabe is divided into four types of function namely Lokalangabe, Temporalangabe, Modalangabe, and Kausalangabe. (2) It has found 15 verbs that correlate with the preposition in in the children’s storybook Mein wunderschöner Schutzengel. These verbs are springen, laufen, stehen, wohnen, liegen, kommen, gehen, sein, sitzen, fahren, arbeiten, schicken, setzen, hängen, and beiβen

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan karakteristik elemen, gradasi tiap elemen, relasi antar elemen, dan kadar realisme magis roman Steinernes Fleisch karya Cornelia Funke. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan realisme magis. Sumber data berasal dari roman Steinernes Fleisch karya Cornelia Funke. Data diperoleh dengan teknik baca dan catat. Data dianalisis dengan teknik deskriptif kualitatif. Keabsahan data diperoleh melalui validitas semantik. Penelitian ini menggunakan reliabilitas interrater dan intrarater. Hasil penelitian pada roman ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) roman ini memiliki lima karakteristik realisme magis dalam perspektif Wendy B. Faris, yaitu (a) the irreducible element (b) the phenomenal world, (c) unsettling doubts, (d) merging realms dan (e) distruption of identity. (2) Gradasi tiap elemen: terdapat perbedaan yang jelas di antara kelima elemen realisme magis. (3) Relasi antar elemen realisme magis: terdapat sebuah struktur yang saling terhubung dan mempengaruhi sebagai sebuah unsur pembangun cerita. (4) Dilihat dari kemunculan seluruh tokoh, objek, dan peristiwa dalam Roman Steinernes Fleisch, menunjukkan isi realisme magis dengan kadar yang kuat.   Magical realism in Cornelia Funke’s novel Steinernes Fleisch, according to Wendy B. Faris’s perspective   Abstract: This research aims to describe the characteristics of the elements, the gradation of each element, the relationship between elements, and the level of magical realism and the level of magical realism in Cornelia Funke’s Novel entitled Steinernes Fleisch. This research is qualitative research that produces descriptive data using the magical realism approach. The data were obtained using reading and note-taking techniques. The data were analyzed using qualitative descriptive techniques. Data validity was obtained through semantic validity. This research uses interrater and interrater reliability. The result of this study on romance suggests that (1) this romance has five characteristics of magical realism, according to Wendy F. Faris: (a) the irreducible element, (b) the phenomenal world, (c) unsettling doubts, (d) merging realms and (e) disruption of identity. (2) Element’s graduation: there is a clear distinction between the slings of the magical realism element. (3) The connections between magical realism elements: there is a structure that is connected and affected as a story builder. (4) The appearances of all these characters, objects, and events in the romance Steinernes Fleisch indicate a strong level of magical realism.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan (1) pembentukan kompositum nomina bahasa Jerman dalam kalimat dan padanannya dalam bahasa Indonesia dan (2) mendeskripsikan makna kompositum nomina bahasa Jerman dalam kalimat dan padanannya dalam bahasa Indonesia. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Data penelitian ini adalah seluruh satuan lingual berupa kata yang mengandung unsur kompositum nomina yang terdapat dalam majalah NADI Vol. 28 dan padanannya dalam bahasa Indonesia. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan terdapat 423 kompositum nomina bahasa Jerman yang ditemukan. Terdapat 3 bentuk kompositum nomina bentukan N+N, V+N, Adj+N dengan jumlah data berturut-turut 375, 29, dan 19 data. Padanannya dalam BI, 319 kompositum nomina N + N, 17 data N + V, 34 data N + KS, 6 data N + KK, dan 47 bentuk lain bukan kompositum (kata). Dalam segi makna, ditemukan 237 kompositum nomina bahasa Jerman yang ditinjau dari segi semantis dan 187 data yang ditinjau dari segi sintaktis. Hasil analisis padanannya dalam BI, 26 data kompositum tipe A1, 10 data golongan A2, 4 data tipe A3, 6 data golongan A5, 32 data golongan A6, 66 data golongan A7, 28 data golongan A8, 29 data golongan A9, 12 data golongan A10, 62 data golongan A11, 4 data golongan A12, 2 data golongan A14, 1 data golongan A15, 4 data golongan A16, 4 data golongan A17, 41 data golongan A18, 41 data golongan A19, 2 data golongan C1, dan 1 data golongan C2. Kata Kunci: kompositum, nomina bahasa Jerman, padanan German compound noun in sentences and its Indonesian equivalent Abstract: This study aims to describe (1) the formation of German compound nouns in sentences and their equivalents in Indonesian and (2) describe the meaning of German compound nouns in sentences and their equivalents in Indonesian. This research is qualitative descriptive research. The data of this research are all lingual units in the form of words that contain compound nouns found in NADI Vol. 28 magazine and their equivalents in Indonesian. The result of this research shows that there are 423 German compound nouns found. There are three forms of compound noun N+N, V+N, and Adj+N with 375, 29, and 19 data, respectively. Its equivalent in Indonesian, 319 compound nouns N + N, 17 data of N + V, 34 data of N + Adj, 6 data of N + Adv, and 47 other forms are non-compounds (words). In terms of meaning, 237 German compound nouns were found from a semantic point of view, and 187 data from a syntactic point of view. The results of the analysis of its equivalent in Indonesian, 26 data are compound type A1, 10 data of category A2, 4 data of type A3, 6 data of category A5, 32 data of type A6, 66 data of category A7, 28 data of group A8, 29 data of category A9, 12 data of category A10, 62 data of category A11, 4 data of group A12, 2 data of type A14, 1 data of category A15, 4 data of category A16, 4 data of category A17, 41 data of category A18, 41 data of category A19, 2 data of category C1, and 1 data of category C2.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan kondisi sosial masyarakat Jerman yang tercermin dalam roman Der Vorleser karya Bernhard Schlink. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan sosiologis dengan analisis sosiologi sastra. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah roman Der Vorleser karya Bernhard Schlink. Data diperoleh dengan teknik baca dan teknik catat. Validitas dalam penelitian ini menggunakan validitas semantik. Reliabilitas yang digunakan adalah reliabilitas intrarater dan interrater.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan tiga kondisi sosial masyarakat Jerman yang tercermin dalam roman Der Vorleser, yakni perbedaan kelas sosial, kenakalan remaja, dan ketidakadilan. Perbedaan kelas sosial terdiri dari tiga aspek yaitu kekayaan, pendidikan, dan pekerjaan. Dilihat dari aspek pendidikan dan pekerjaan, Michael memiliki latar belakang keluarga yang berpendidikan tinggi. Ayah Michael bekerja sebagai seorang dosen dan filsuf. Sementara itu, Hanna hanya berprofesi sebagai kondektur trem dan tidak memiliki pendidikan tinggi. Kondisi sosial kedua ialah kenakalan remaja yang terbagi dalam kategori biasa, yang menjurus kepada pelanggaran dan kejahatan, dan kenakalan khusus. Bentuk kenakalan remaja dalam roman amatan yaitu membolos, pencurian baju dan berhubungan seksual. Kondisi sosial ketiga yakni ketidakadilan berupa dominasi dan stereotip. Dominasi dilakukan oleh para terdakwa dan pengacara terhadap Hanna. Stereotip terjadi pada ayah Michael yang mendapat pelabelan buruk oleh generasi muda yang menuduh para orang tua ikut terlibat dalam kekejaman NAZI. Social conditions in Roman Der Vorleser by Bernhard Schlink: Sociology analysis of literature Abstract: The purpose of this research is to describe the social conditions of German society as reflected in Bernhard Schlink's Roman Der Vorleser. This research used a sociological approach with a sociological analysis of literature. The data source of this research is the Roman Der Vorleser by Bernhard Schlink. Data were obtained by reading and note-taking techniques. The validity of this research is semantic validity. The reliability used interrater and interrater reliability. The results of this research are that there are three social conditions of German society that are reflected in the Roman Der Vorleser, namely differences in social class, juvenile delinquency, and injustice. Differences in social class consist of three aspects, namely wealth, education, and work. In terms of education and work, Michael has a highly educated family background. Michael's father worked as a lecturer and philosopher. Meanwhile, Hanna only works as a tram conductor and has no higher education. The second social condition is juvenile delinquency which is divided into ordinary categories, which lead to violations and crimes, and special delinquency. The forms of juvenile delinquency are truancy, theft of clothes, and having sex. The third social condition is injustice in the form of domination and stereotype. The Domination was carried out by other defendants and lawyers against Hanna. The stereotype concerns Michael's father, who was labeled badly by the younger generation, who accused the parents of being involved in NAZI atrocities.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) pengaruh minat belajar bahasa terhadap keterampilan membaca bahasa Jerman, (2) pengaruh penguasaan gramatik terhadap keterampilan membaca bahasa Jerman (3) pengaruh minat belajar bahasa Jerman dan penguasaan gramatik secara bersama-sama terhadap keterampilan membaca bahasa Jerman peserta didik kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Sedayu. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian jenis ex post facto. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Sedayu. Dengan teknik simple random sampling, sample penelitian ini adalah 40 peserta didik. Penelitian ini terdiri atas dua variabel bebas yaitu minat belajar bahasa Jerman (X1) dan penguasaan gramatik (X2), serta satu variabel terikat yaitu keterampilan membaca bahasa Jerman (Y). Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dengan menggunakan angket dan tes. Validitas instrumen menggunakan rumus korelasi product moment. Uji validitas setiap instrumen terdiri dari validitas isi, validitas konstruk, dan butir soal. Uji reliabilitas menggunakan rumus Alpha Cronbach. Analisis data menggunakan regresi ganda. Hasil penelitian dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) minat belajar Bahasa Jerman berpengaruh pada keterampilan membaca Bahasa Jerman peserta didik kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Sedayu. (2) Penguasaan gramatik juga berpengaruh pada keterampilan membaca Bahasa Jerman, peserta didik kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Sedayu. (3) minat belajar Bahasa Jerman dan penguasaan Gramatik secara bersama sama memiliki pengaruh terhadapa keterampilan membaca Bahasa Jerman peserta didik kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Sedayu. The effect of language learning interest and grammatical mastery toward German reading skills of class XI students in SMA Negeri 1 Sedayu. Abstract: This research aims to determine (1) the effect of language learning interest on German reading skill, (2) the effect of grammatical mastery on German reading skill Sedayu, (3) the effect of both German learning interest and grammatical mastery simultaneously toward German reading skill of class XI students in SMA Negeri 1 Sedayu. This research is ex post facto research. The population in this study is class XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Sedayu. Using a simple random sampling technique, the samples in this research were 40 students. The study consisted of two variables, i.e., German learning interest (XI) and grammatical mastery (X2), and one dependent variable, i.e., German reading skill (Y). The data in this research were obtained using a questionnaire and test. The instrument validation used the formulation of product-moment correlation. The validity test of every instrument consisted of content validity, construct validity, and question item. The reliability test used the formulation of Alpha Cronbach. The results of this study indicate (1) learning interest in the German language affected the reading skill in the German language of class XI students in SMA Negeri 1 Sedayu, (2) grammatical mastery also affected the reading skill of the German language of class XI students in SMA Negeri 1 Sedayu, (3) both German learning interest and grammatical mastery affect simultaneously toward German reading skill of class XI students in SMA Negeri 1 Sedayu.
