Abstract

The phenomenon of interfaith marriage in Indonesia remains a complex debate between religious law, state law, and human rights. Law No. 1 of 1974 on Marriage stipulates that a marriage is valid if it is conducted according to the laws of each religion and belief, implying that interfaith marriage has no clear legal basis in Indonesia. However, in reality, interfaith marriages continue to occur in various ways, either through the conversion of one of the parties or through registration abroad. This article aims to analyze the legal regulations on interfaith marriage in Indonesia, their implementation in the field, and the tension between religious values, national law, and freedom of religion. This study uses a normative juridical approach by examining legislation, court decisions, and Islamic legal views. The results of the study show that the prohibition of interfaith marriage is based on theological and normative reasons, but in practice there is still room for compromise, which shows disharmony between religious law and state law. Therefore, a more humanistic and equitable legal approach is needed without neglecting the principles of sharia and public morality.

Abstract

Criminal law in Indonesia has undergone a significant transformation in line with the enactment of Law Number 1 of 2023 concerning the Criminal Code (KUHP) and Law Number 20 of 2025 concerning the Integrated Criminal Justice System (SPPT). This study analyzes the shift in the function of criminal law from the principle of ultimum remedium to the practice of political control in the context of Indonesian constitutionality. Through normative legal research methods with analytical approaches and regulatory comparisons, the research reveals that although the 2023 Criminal Code and the 2025 Criminal Code are designed to modernize the Indonesian criminal law system in accordance with the values of Pancasila and international standards, in practice there has been a significant paradigm shift. Criminal law no longer functions solely as an ultimum remedium when other legal instruments fail, but has shifted to become a tool of political control and an instrument to achieve certain goals at the constitutional level. This shift is reflected in the development of new categories of criminal acts, expanding investigators' discretion, changes in the evidentiary system, and the use of criminal law instruments for the regulation of areas that are not traditionally the domain of criminal law. The research identifies three main dimensions of this shift: (1) the materialization of criminal law through massive criminalization; (2) procedural instruments that facilitate political control; and (3) the constitutional context that encourages the politicization of criminal law. The conclusion of the study shows that a paradigmatic reorientation is needed in understanding the function of criminal law in Indonesia, accompanied by concrete efforts to restore the principle of ultimum remedium, strengthen the rule of law, and build an effective check-and-balance in the Indonesian constitutional system.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the psychosocial psychology of child marriages which are victims of sexual violence. The approach in this research uses a qualitative descriptive method using interviews, observation and documentation as data collection techniques. This approach aims to obtain descriptive text or verbal form from sources directly in the field. In terms of psychosocial theory, it is a term used to describe the relationship between a person's social condition and their mental or emotional health. For example, the relationship between the fear a person has (psychological) and how he interacts with other people in his social environment. A person who has a healthy mentality will react in a positive way in various situations. In contrast to people who have mental instability, they will react negatively to everything that happens in life. The results of research conducted by researchers related to the psychosocial conditions of the impact of child marriage in Malang Regency are difficulty in adjusting, the range of experiencing household disputes, resolving problems with divorce, poor social relations, ways to educate children who are not yet competent and economic problems, then we can provide a solution to this problem through psychosocial intervention in the form of personal, group, familial and play therapy which will have a positive impact in the form of cognitive, emotional, behavioral and social environmental changes.

Abstract

The rapid development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has transformed digital marketing strategies, particularly through the implementation of AI-driven personalization in streaming service platforms. Netflix is one of the leading platforms that utilizes AI-based recommendation systems to deliver content tailored to users’ preferences. This study aims to examine the effect of AI-driven personalization on Netflix user engagement, with user satisfaction acting as a mediating variable. A quantitative research approach was employed, with data collected through questionnaires distributed to Netflix users. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis, supported by validity, reliability, and classical assumption tests. The results indicate that AI-driven personalization has a significant positive effect on user engagement. Furthermore, user satisfaction also shows a positive influence and plays a mediating role in strengthening the relationship between AI-driven personalization and user engagement. These findings suggest that relevant, accurate, and user-friendly content recommendations enhance user satisfaction and foster sustained user engagement. This study provides theoretical contributions to AI-based digital marketing literature and practical implications for Netflix in optimizing personalization strategies to improve user loyalty and engagement in the era of Marketing 6.0.
