Abstract

This study aims to examine structural poverty in Indonesia through a multidimensional approach encompassing social, economic, and public policy perspectives. Utilizing a qualitative method through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR), this research analyzes various studies published over the last six years (2020–2025), sourced from the Dimensions and Scopus databases. The findings reveal that structural poverty cannot be separated from unequal social power relations, regional economic disparities, and public policies that remain non-inclusive. Contributing factors such as social stigma, discrimination against vulnerable groups, and weak public governance perpetuate cycles of injustice and vulnerability. Most previous studies have been fragmented and have not systematically integrated these three dimensions. This research fills that gap by offering a comprehensive literature analysis, providing a conceptual foundation for formulating transformative policies. The implications of the findings emphasize the urgency of cross-sectoral approaches that prioritize social justice, resource redistribution, and structural reforms in addressing poverty in a sustainable manner in Indonesia.

Abstract

Abstak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis model pemberdayaan Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) dalam konteks penanggulangan kemiskinan melalui pendekatan Systematic Literature Review (SLR). Berangkat dari lemahnya efektivitas pendekatan konvensional dalam menangani kemiskinan struktural dan ketimpangan sosial ekonomi, penelitian ini mengkaji literatur terkini yang diterbitkan dalam lima tahun terakhir (2020–2025) dan diambil dari basis data Dimensions dan Scopus. Kriteria inklusi meliputi artikel ilmiah relevan, bereputasi, dan tersedia dalam teks lengkap dalam bahasa Indonesia atau bahasa Inggris. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pemberdayaan UMKM yang holistik, kontekstual, dan responsif terhadap dimensi psikososial dan gender lebih berpotensi dalam mendukung agenda penanggulangan kemiskinan berkelanjutan. Ditemukan pula bahwa keberhasilan intervensi sangat ditentukan oleh inovasi kelembagaan, kesiapan kelembagaan, dan integrasi dimensi sosial ekonomi setempat. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan pengembangan model evaluasi multidimensi yang menggabungkan indikator ekonomi, sosial, psikologis, dan gender, serta pentingnya studi longitudinal untuk menilai ketahanan UMKM terhadap krisis struktural dan perubahan iklim. Temuan-temuan ini memberikan sumbangan konseptual terhadap perumusan kebijakan pemberdayaan yang lebih inklusif dan berbasis bukti.

Abstract

The education gap due to poverty is a multidimensional problem influenced by economic, geographical and structural policy factors. Although various studies have highlighted these determinants, the role of social institutions in addressing education disparities has received less systematic attention. This study aims to examine in depth the strategic contribution of social institutions in reducing inequality in access and quality of education for vulnerable groups. Using a qualitative approach with the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method, this study analyzes scientific publications from the Dimensions and Scopus databases in the period 2020-2025. The analysis shows that social institutions act as catalytic agents in providing alternative education services, building cross-sector partnerships and bridging marginalized groups with the formal education system. The findings also indicate that the effectiveness of interventions depends on synergies between economic, spatial and institutional dimensions. The research emphasizes the importance of collaborative models between social institutions, local governments and the private sector in designing inclusive and sustainable education policies. Recommendations point to the need for longitudinal studies to evaluate the implementation of SDGs-based education policies in areas with high disparities.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of health intervention programs and policies aimed at poor communities through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. This study focuses on identifying effective intervention patterns, implementation challenges, and the contribution of contextual and community-based approaches to reducing inequality in access to health services. Data were collected from Dimensions and Scopus databases, with a publication coverage of the last five years (2020–2025), and selection was only carried out on relevant and high-quality scientific articles. The results of the review indicate that social determinants such as income, food security, age, and social status play a significant role in influencing the effectiveness of health interventions. Interventions that are responsive to the local socio-economic context have proven to be more successful in increasing household resilience and access to basic health services. Furthermore, the use of a Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)-based evaluation approach that integrates big data and community participation is highly recommended to address system complexity and strengthen equitable and sustainable policies.

Abstract

Urbanisasi yang pesat di berbagai wilayah dunia telah menimbulkan dinamika kompleks yang berkaitan erat dengan migrasi, pertumbuhan permukiman kumuh, dan ketimpangan perkotaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji secara sistematis hubungan antara urbanisasi dan kemiskinan dengan menelaah dampak migrasi, perkembangan permukiman kumuh, serta ketimpangan dalam akses layanan dasar di kawasan perkotaan. Pendekatan penelitian ini menggunakan metode Systematic Literature Review (SLR) berbasis analisis data dari database Dimensions dan Scopus, dengan cakupan publikasi 5 tahun terakhir (2020–2025). Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa migrasi berperan signifikan dalam mendorong urbanisasi dan transformasi infrastruktur kota, namun juga memicu pertumbuhan kawasan kumuh akibat keterbatasan kapasitas pemerintah dalam penyediaan hunian layak. Selain itu, ketimpangan akses terhadap layanan dasar seperti perumahan, sanitasi, dan transportasi masih dipengaruhi oleh identitas sosial, geografis, dan gender. Temuan ini menyoroti pentingnya perumusan kebijakan pembangunan kota yang inklusif, berbasis bukti, serta responsif terhadap kelompok rentan. Penelitian ini menawarkan kontribusi baru dalam menyatukan tiga variabel utama tersebut ke dalam satu kerangka analisis terpadu untuk memperkuat strategi pembangunan perkotaan berkelanjutan.
