Abstract

This study examines implementation of the Warehouse Receipt System (SRG) as an effort to increase the bargaining position of small farmers in Cianjur Regency, West Java. The study adopts George Edwards III's policy implementation model, which says policy implementation is influenced by four factors, namely communication, resources, the propensity of implementing policies and organizational structure. Among many SRG warehouses in Indonesia, the warehouse in Cianjur Regency, in particular, is the best-performingone, therefore the research in this location is expected to give significant overview of its implementation. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type. Data collection was conducted through in-depth interview to eight respondents and field observation. The study shows that stakeholders have implemented the provisions included in this model of four factors. However, there are some aspects that need more attention because SRG has a great potential given that agriculture is the main livehood in Cianjur Regency.SRG has indirect impact to farmers’ welfare, and its implementation reflects the social development approach, the one that connects and integrates economic and social policies. This policy implementation provides opportunities for farmers to get better offers for their agricultural production. By participating in the SRG system, farmers can postpone selling and have the opportunity to get better prices as well as to improve the quality of their commodities, which in turn has an impact on increasing their income as well as social welfare.

Abstract

Indonesian Migrant Workers (PMI) are groups of workers who work abroad. Indonesia as a country that has a large workforce with a majority of low education, has difficulty in providing decent employment in the country, so working abroad is a choice for millions of PMI in an effort to improve and answer life's needs. As a country sending large migrant workers, PMI needs protection relating to their rights and obligations as PMI, both before placement, placement period and post placement. Even though there is a regulation that states that every PMI who wants to work abroad must get knowledge of the country where they work, this facility is considered inadequate to provide PMI abroad.Facilities that are considered very comfortable and easy to protect PMI can be done through social media facilities. Along with the fact that all PMIs have cellular phones, the use of social media is considered to be more effective in reaching more people, cheaper, more convenient, able to access the latest news and easy to share (viral). Just as it is currently done by PMI in Taiwan every time a PMI wants to find and provide information to others PMI.

Abstract

This paper provides us with an understanding of communication privacy, which is how we own and manage private information in interpersonal communication. Management of private information includes the setting of personal and collective boundaries, between which the two boundaries span the process of communication privacy regarding individual private information.Communication privacy is the management of the tension between the desire to be open or closed (privacy), between the need to remain personal or to be part of togetherness (collective). Individuals who are involved in a relationship with other individuals will continue to manage the boundary lines within themselves, namely between personal boundaries and collective boundaries, between feelings or thoughts that he wants to share and those he does not want to share with others. Communication privacy management are regulating the privacy of individual private information. Privacy always relates to the opening or disclosure of private information. Private information is information that is owned by an individual that is stored in his personal boundary whose disclosure potential is determined by intimacy factors.Personal boundaries in communication privacy are lines that limit when private information is kept by an individual and is not opened to other individuals. A collective boundary in communication privacy is an intersection of the personal privacy limits of the shared owners of personal information, all of whom are jointly responsible for that information. Boundary turbulence is a disruption of privacy management and relational trust that occurs when collective privacy boundaries are not synchronized. Limitation turbulence arises when boundary coordination rules are unclear or when people's expectations for privacy management conflict with one another.

Abstract

This study tried to explain one of the poor farmers groups in Cigorondong Village Pandeglang who made a survival strategy by diversifying their livelihoods. There are two factors behind it, driving factor from place of origin and the pull factor from the destination. After farmers in Cigorondong, Pandeglang, made a strategy to survive by diversifying their livelihood into scavengers in Komplek BMKG Tangerang Selatan, there were several economic and social conditions that had changed. In the economic aspect there is an increase in income. On the social aspect, the changes that occur are the existence of an organic solidarity attitude, namely solidarity that grows based on the division of labor as happens in urban communities. However, they do not abandon their rural social behavior such as obeying norms, mutual cooperation etc.

Abstract

Every organization or company must have a program or work plan that will be implemented or realized, but in reality not all can implement their own programs. Organizations, companies, or individuals can ask for assistance to the Event Organizer services to be able to succeed the program. To be able to implement an organization or company program especially the Marketing Public Relations program requires hard work, cooperation, and agreement between the two parties, both the organization or company that trusts to carry out the program to the Event Organizer and the party who receives the trust, so that both of them are equally receiving benefits.
