This study aims to improve the learning process Biology class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Makassar through direct learning model on the concept of motion in plants. The study was designed with classroom action research. Subjects of this study consisted of 43 people. The data collection technique uses observation sheets and multiple choice tests given at the end of each cycle. Based on the analysis of qualitative data is concluded that there are some changes; (1) students showed enthusiasm to follow the lesson; (2) interest and motivation to learn biology students has increased; (3) the courage of expression, answering questions, responses, ask rise; (4) more optimistic / confidence in their abilities. Quantitatively, there is an increased score completeness of student learning outcomes very low category with a score of 44, 12% on the implementation of the first cycle into high category with a score of 70, 59% after the implementation of the second cycle

Continuous professional development is conducted  in accordance with the needs of teachers to achieve the standard of professional competence which also has implications for credit scoring for promotion / functional. Research was to understand the form of the training needs of sustainable professional development (PKB) on elementary school teachers in Gowa. Type descriptive qualitative research. Research subjects in primary school teachers in Gowa district, amounting to 35 people. The results showed the form of continuous professional development training needs (PKB) needed elementary school teacher in Gowa is is a selfdevelopment training, on a very important category. Because the primary school teachers aware of the importance of self-development should start from the teachers themselves.

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dan bertujuan untuk efektivitas impementasi desain media pembelajaran anti korupsi berbasis gender untuk menanamkan nilai-nilai kejujuran sejak usia dini bagi siswa-siswi Sekolah Dasar. Hasil uji coba desain media pembelajaran anti korupsi berbasis gender untuk menanamkan nilai-nilai kejujuran sejak usia dini bagi siswa-siswi Sekolah Dasar telah memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis, dan efektif. Hasil penelitian berupa perangkat pembelajaran yang menggunakan permainan kartu, peta permainan, buku panduan penggunaan media. Hasil desain media pembelajaran yang diberi nama Sembilan Nilai atau “SEMAI†sangat memudahkan siswa-siswi untuk lebih cepat memahami norma-norma anti korupsi.

This study aimed to describe the application of learning and discovery learning model influence on the understanding of the concept of Biology and learners' scientific attitude. This research is a quasi-experimental research with non-equivalence experimental design pretest posttes control group design. The study population was all study groups is students of  SMA Negeri 3 Takalar 2015/2016 academic year. Samples were taken by simple random sampling technique. Data were collected using a multiple choice test and questionnaire reasoned scientific attitude. Data were analyzed with descriptive analysis and MANOVA test. The results showed: (1) understanding the concept of Biology students that learned with discovery learning model low category learning and scientific attitude is very good category; (2) understanding the concept of Bilogy students that learned by direct learning model of instruction category is very low and the scientific attitude either category; (3) there are differences in understanding of the concept of Biology significantly among learners that learned learning model discovery learning and direct instruction; (4) there is a scientific attitude of students that learned learning model discovery learning and direct instruction; and (5) there are differences in understanding of biology concepts and scientific attitudes among learners that learned discovery learning and direct instruction.

This study aims to: (1) determine the steps the development of e-learning portal-based learning management system (LMS) and (2) produce an e-learning portal-based LMS in vocational high school (SMK). This research aimed to describe the effectiveness of hypnosis approach in learning appreciation applied art based on local culture at the seventh grade in 4 State Junior High School Pallangga. This research was descriptive research. The population of this research was all the seventh grade students in 4 State Junior High School Pallangga consisting of 5 classes. The samples of this research were 2 classes with 42 students, 22 students from class VII 3 and 20 students from class VII 4. The data collection was done by doing test, observation, interview and documentation. The instruments of the data collection were multiple choices, observation guidance, interview protocol and camera. The data analysis was descriptive qualitative. The result of the research showed that the application of hypnosis was effective applied in learning appreciation applied art based on local culture at the seventh grade in 4 State Junior High School Pallangga Gowa Regency

Research of facto ex-post having the character of korelasional with aim to to know influence of emotional intellegence to result learn Student Class mathematics of VII SMP Country 1 Makassar. Intake of data conducted by using two instrument, that is emotional intellegence kuesioner and test result of learning which consist of double helix test and of essay. Result of analysis of statistic descriptive indicate that result learn Student Class mathematics categorized high. Emotional intellegence of student categorized high. Result of analysis of inferensial indicate that emotional intellegence have an effect on by significant to result learn sstudent slass mathematics of  JHS. From result of analysis above, can be concluded that awareness of emotional intellegence have an effect on positive to result learn student slass mathematics.

The study aims to know the description of science process skill for basic electronics subject at physics teacher candidate after implemented dynamic problem solving strategies (DPSS), as a novel alternative, to improve teaching and learning process of Physics. This research is included as a pre-experimental with using One Group Posttest Design. The research subject was 23 students of Physics Education Study Program Semester IV for academic year 2015/2016 who take lecturing subject of Basic Electronics. It is concluded that science process skill as follows: 1) students maximum score was 85; 2) minimum score was 80; and 3) the average score was 87,5. In general, the mastery of physics concept and mathematical ability of students especially in basic electronics subject were in good category.

This study aims to reveal the student metacognitive knowledge Physics Education. Study ekspolorasi made against 20 students of third semester Physical Education Studies by giving Metacognitive Knowledge Test with Harmonic Vibration Unit. The results show that turned out to be as much as 0.00% could not answer with a perfect. This result shows that the impact of learning physics for two semesters not contributed to the development of metacognitive knowledge. The further observation  found that the cause of students not able to complete the test is due to their lessons during the teaching staff is more oriented to the teacher  learning center is dominated in explaining the theories without facilitating the development of metacognitive knowledge

The general objective of this study was to determine the development needs of profesional competence through training PTK journal writing in primary school teacher. Method used R & D model design development models Borg and Gall were 10 steps. Based on the ten steps tersebutoleh Sukmadinata modified into three steps of research and development, the research phase developed, namely: (1) the preliminary study stage as needs and contens analysis, (2) the development stage as the design, development, and evaluation, (3) stages of testing the effectiveness of product as a semi-sumative evaluation. This research was conducted only at a preliminary stage only and R & D. The data collection technique through, questionnaires and dokumentasi.Subjek research on teachers in KabupatenTakalar which numbered 40 people. The results showed the development requirements of profesional competence through training journal writing PTK elementary school teacher in Takalar category really need or very important. And judging by the results of the assessment of teacher performance in the unfavorable category of profesional competence.
