Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of human resource competencies, government internal control systems, and whistleblowing systems on fraud prevention. The sample used in this study consisted of 72 respondents who were educators and educational staff at public elementary schools in the South Pekalongan District. This study used a simple random sampling method..  This research uses a quantitative approach with descriptive analysis, and the data collection technique is in the form of questionnaire questions. The data used in this research is primary data. Primary data is in the form of responses from respondents via questionnaires. The data analysis used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that human resource competencies, government internal control systems, and whistleblowing systems have a significant effect on fraud prevention and financial reporting. This study concludes that human resource competencies, government internal control systems, and whistleblowing systems have a significant effect on fraud prevention, which ultimately affects the quality of financial reports.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of promotion, brand image, and product quality on consumer purchasing decisions at Holland Bakery Unit Depok. The research method used is a descriptive quantitative approach with data collection through questionnaires distributed to 150 respondents using accidental sampling techniques. The results of the data analysis using multiple linear regression tests indicate that the variables of promotion and product quality have a significant influence on purchasing decisions, while the brand image variable does not show a significant influence. The F-test shows that all three independent variables simultaneously influence purchasing decisions with a significance level of 0.005 (<0.05). Meanwhile, the coefficient of determination (R²) value of 12.6% indicates that promotion, brand image, and product quality together explain the purchase decision variable, while the remaining 87.4% is explained by other variables outside the research model. This study recommends the need for continuous innovation in promotions and product quality improvement to maintain consumer loyalty, as well as brand image strengthening strategies to have a more significant impact on purchasing decisions.

Abstract

Tourism is a strategic sector in supporting economic growth and community welfare. Holeo Golf & Museum, a unique destination in Jakarta, combines the concepts of mini golf and a dessert museum, attracting the attention of tourists, especially the younger generation. This study aims to analyze the influence of accessibility, facilities, and viral marketing on electronic word of mouth (E-WOM) and tourist satisfaction. A quantitative approach was used with accidental sampling techniques on 150 respondents who visited Holeo Golf & Museum in January–February 2024. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling with the assistance of SmartPLS 3.0 software. The results showed that accessibility significantly influenced E-WOM but not tourist satisfaction. Facilities and viral marketing have a significant influence on E-WOM and tourist satisfaction. However, E-WOM does not significantly influence tourist satisfaction. These findings emphasize the importance of facilities and digital marketing strategies in creating positive experiences and tourist loyalty. This study recommends that tourism destination managers improve facility quality and strategically utilize social media to encourage positive reviews and enhance visitor satisfaction.

Abstract

This study discusses the role of the Aurifanta Women's Group in enhancing the economic well-being of families in Salur Latun Village, Simeulue District. The primary objective of this research is to analyze how the Aurifanta Group contributes to increasing household income for women, expanding access to economic resources, and fostering changes in economic decision-making at the family level. This research employed a qualitative method using a case study approach through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and documentation of group activities. The findings reveal that after joining the group, members were able to earn additional monthly incomes ranging from IDR 250,000 to IDR 600,000 from the sale of woven pandanus mats. Moreover, they gained access to capital in the form of financial assistance and business mentoring provided by the village government, along with facilitated access to raw materials sourced from local natural resources. Women’s involvement significantly increased in all aspects of the production and marketing processes. However, the group still faces challenges such as the lack of advanced technical training and limited market access, particularly outside the region and on digital platforms. The conclusion of this research is that the Aurifanta Group has had a significant positive impact on women’s economic empowerment and household resilience. It is recommended that future programs focus on advanced training such as digital marketing, creative product packaging, basic financial recordkeeping for small businesses, and innovation in woven product design to ensure the group’s business growth and sustainability.

Abstract

Perempuan prasejahtera merupakan kelompok rentan yang membutuhkan dukungan akses pembiayaan guna meningkatkan taraf hidup dan kesejahteraannya. Salah satu strategi yang ditempuh oleh pemerintah dan lembaga keuangan adalah melalui kebijakan pembiayaan mikro. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kebijakan pembiayaan mikro yang disalurkan melalui Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) terhadap kesejahteraan perempuan prasejahtera di Kecamatan Meureubo, Kabupaten Aceh Barat. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei terhadap 58 responden perempuan penerima pembiayaan. Teknik analisis data menggunakan regresi linier sederhana untuk menguji hubungan antara variabel independen (kebijakan pembiayaan mikro) dan variabel dependen (kesejahteraan perempuan). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kebijakan pembiayaan mikro berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap peningkatan kesejahteraan perempuan prasejahtera, ditunjukkan oleh persamaan regresi Y = 30,134 + 1,103X dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05. Indikator yang berkontribusi terhadap hasil ini meliputi ketersediaan informasi, akses terhadap pembiayaan, dan kesesuaian pembiayaan dengan kebutuhan usaha. Dengan nilai Cronbach’s Alpha sebesar 0,893 (pembiayaan mikro) dan 0,917 (kesejahteraan), instrumen penelitian dinyatakan valid dan reliabel. Penelitian ini menegaskan efektivitas pembiayaan mikro sebagai kebijakan pemberdayaan ekonomi perempuan dalam meningkatkan taraf hidup kelompok prasejahtera.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of service quality, price perception, and atmosphere on customer satisfaction at Sugarbell bakery. The method used is a quantitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques through questionnaires distributed to customers who have made purchases at Sugarbell. The number of respondents in this study was 92 people. The data collected was then analyzed using multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS software version 25. The results of the analysis show that the variables of service quality and atmosphere have a significant effect on customer satisfaction. Meanwhile, price perception does not show a significant effect on the level of satisfaction. This indicates that non-price factors, such as the services provided and the atmosphere of the place, have a more dominant role in shaping customer satisfaction at Sugarbell bakery. Therefore, management is advised to continue to improve service quality and create a comfortable atmosphere in order to maintain and increase customer satisfaction.

Abstract

This study focused on the impact of foreign direct investment inflows on labour productivity in Nigeria. It specifies an Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) model, following the work of Hailat and Baniata (2018), to evaluate the impact of international capital inflows—Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), Foreign Portfolio Investment (FPI), Official Development Assistance (ODA), and External Debt (ED)—on labour productivity in Nigeria. The ARDL bounds test is used to determine the existence of cointegration among variables, while the Error Correction Model (ECM) captures both short-run and long-run dynamics. Finally, the Fully Modified Ordinary Least Squares (FMOLS) method is employed to validate the robustness of the estimates. The Akaike Information Criterion (AIC) guided lag selection for the Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) model, with maximum lags of (1) and (2) chosen via E-Views 10. Results show that Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) negatively affects labour productivity (−0.0074, p=0.0002), while Foreign Portfolio Investment (FPI) and Official Development Assistance (ODA) are insignificant. External Debt (ED) has a negative significant effect (−0.0164, p<0.05). Personal Remittances (PRER) and Real Gross Domestic Product (RGDP) positively influence productivity (0.0046, p<0.05; 1.0931, p<0.01), while Gross Fixed Capital Formation (GFCF) shows a strong negative link (−0.3862, p<0.01). Secondary School Enrollment Rate (SERR) remains positive (0.002, p<0.05). The study concludes that sustainable labour productivity growth in Nigeria requires policies that strengthen domestic absorptive capacity, improve institutional quality, and channel foreign capital toward skill development and technology-driven sectors

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of product design and innovation on brand love, purchase decisions, and brand loyalty among consumers of Manchester United jerseys. Employing a quantitative approach, data were collected from 250 respondents through an online survey and analyzed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results reveal that both product design and innovation significantly affect brand love. Furthermore, brand love exerts a strong influence on purchase decisions and brand loyalty. Purchase decisions also have a significant and direct impact on brand loyalty. These findings suggest that emotional attachment, reflected in brand love, plays a pivotal role in shaping consumer behavior, particularly in repeated purchases of identity-related products such as football jerseys. From a practical standpoint, the study highlights the importance for brands to invest in creative design and continuous innovation to foster stronger emotional connections and long-term consumer loyalty.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah Mengetahui perencanaan retribusi objek wisata Pantai Oetune, Mengetahui Pengorganisasian retribusi objek wisata Pantai Oetune, Mengetahui pelaksanaan retribusi objek wisata Pantai Oetune dan Mengetahui pengawasan retribusi objek wisata Pantai Oetune serta Mengetahui faktor-faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi menurunnya penerimaan retribusi Pantai Oetune. Jenis penelitian ini yakni  penelitian deskriptif  kualitatif. Metode pengumpulan data meliputi wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan retribusi objek wisata Pantai Oetune masih menghadapi tantangan pada aspek perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, dan pengawasan. Perencanaan belum melibatkan partisipasi masyarakat secara formal, sehingga berisiko tidak sesuai dengan kebutuhan lapangan. Pengorganisasian melibatkan tenaga lokal, namun belum didukung struktur organisasi dan SOP tertulis. Pelaksanaan menunjukkan ketidaksesuaian tarif, khususnya pada kategori anak-anak, serta adanya praktik informal dalam pemungutan. Pengawasan dilakukan rutin, namun masih lemah dalam tindak lanjut dan belum berbasis teknologi. Diperlukan penguatan regulasi, koordinasi, partisipasi masyarakat, dan pemanfaatan teknologi untuk mendukung pengelolaan yang efektif dan transparan.
