These workers participated in this study by filling out the Psychosocial Safety Climate (PSC 12) to measure the level of psychosocial safety climate and Negative Acts Questionnaire-Revised (NAQ-R) to determine the incidence of bullying in companies Results: The results of the analysis show that the Psychosocial Safety Climate has a significant effect on the incidence of bullying in the workplace in the company, with a negative relationship direction and moderate strength(p-sig=0,003; r=0,292; ß=-0,257). In addition, the results of multiple linear regressions show that Management Commitment has a significant effect (p-sig = 0.013) on the decrease in bullying levels in the workplace, compared to Management Priority, Organizational Participation, and Organizational Communication. Abstract

Fatigue is a significant factor regarding safety issues such as transportation incidents and errors. As a part of land transportation, safety has also become an issue in the railway industry. In 6 years, there have been at least 700 extraordinary incidents in the railway industry in Indonesia, including train collisions. From the National Transportation Safety Committee investigation report, it was also found that several cases of train crashes occurred due to train drivers’ fatigue. Therefore, this study aims to determine the level and the factors associated with fatigue in train drivers. This research was conducted in January – June 2021 at PT. Kereta Api Indonesia Operational Area 3 Cirebon is one of the strategic, operational areas and a place of train driver exchange. This research is quantitative research with a cross-sectional study design. The samples in this study were 144 drivers of passenger and freight trains. The data are analyzed by a chi-square statistical test. The results of the study showed that 45.8% of respondents experienced mild fatigue, and 54.2% of respondents experienced moderate fatigue. From this study, it is also known that there is a relationship between BMI (OR1 = 2,454; OR2 = 4,723), sleep duration (OR = 2,120) and work environment (OR = 3,495) with fatigue in train driver. For this reason, companies need to optimize health promotion for train drivers with abnormal nutritional status, ensure driver rest periods and install air conditioning in the cabin to reduce temperature and noise that have an impact on fatigue.

Abstract

A safety management system is crucial for the construction industry to effectively manage on-site safety, and its sustainability can be evaluated by analyzing the relationship between safety climate and safety behavior without waiting for accidents to occur. This study aimed to analyze this relationship among 120 workers at the PLN PUSMANPRO PST JATENG I electrical construction project. Using a cross-sectional design, primary data were collected through a Likert scale questionnaire adapted from previous validated studies. The results revealed that the safety climate was predominantly rated as low, and bivariate analysis indicated a positive and moderately strong correlation (P value = 0.000, correlation = 0.402) between safety climate and safety behavior. This finding suggests that improving the safety climate and providing adequate safety facilities can significantly influence workers' safety behavior, thereby reducing the likelihood of accidents on the project.

Abstract

The death rate due to elevators in the world at 1999-2009 was 263 people, caused by 57% falling, 18% being pinched, 17% falling by objects, and 9% other causes. One of the efforts to prevent accidents was to analyze psychosocial factors that caused work stress and at-risk behavior that can lead to work accidents. This study aimed to determine the relationship of psychosocial factors to work stress and the at-risk behavior of employees at PT. X is engaged in the elevator and escalator sector. This research method was a descriptive quantitative, cross-sectional study with 200 people. Psychosocial factors related to workload and work speed, job control, organizational function, interpersonal relationships, organizational roles, career development, home-work interface, psychological demands, participation or supervision, bullying and violence. There is a relationship between work stress and at-risk behavior. Behaviors that often arise when employees experience work stress are rushing at work decisions. The highest work stress complaints were related to physiological complaints, namely the consumption of headache relievers; behavioral complaints, namely interrupting and cutting other people's sentences; emotional complaints, namely refusal to go to work; Cognitive complaints are difficulty thinking clearly and concentrating. PT X should conduct a more comprehensive risk assessment, clarify career development, and recalculate the workload, effectiveness and efficiency to prevent negative impact on employees' work-life balance.
