Abstract

In the digital age, community participation in education has become increasingly vital for enhancing learning outcomes in Indonesia. This research explores how digital tools can transform traditional forms of community involvement, allowing for greater flexibility and engagement among parents, students, and local communities. Utilizing a literature study method, the research analyzes secondary data from credible sources, employing thematic analysis to identify key themes related to community participation in education. The findings reveal that while digital platforms facilitate improved communication and involvement, significant challenges remain due to the digital divide, particularly in rural areas where access to technology is limited. Additionally, the study highlights the importance of understanding cultural contexts to design educational programs that resonate with local populations. In conclusion, the research emphasizes the need for policies that promote digital literacy and equitable access to technology, fostering collaboration among schools, families, and communities to create a more inclusive educational system that meets the diverse needs of all learners in Indonesia.

Abstract

Masculinity is a male characteristic in men which is not externally innate but is shaped by the culture in which one lives. Due to societal stigma, men have to do manly jobs or professions to be seen as complete men. Excessive stigma against traditional masculinity also gives rise to toxic masculinity, which is a social norm that considers how men should behave based on existing standards of traditional masculinity. on local culture. This research aims to analyze the impact and solutions for negative attitudes towards gender-based professions. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with two adult male participants who work across gender. The research results show that the phenomenon of toxic masculinity has an impact on men who are victims of masculinity. However, this can be minimized for victims by developing personal abilities, focusing on goals and getting support from the closest environment.

The sampling method used in this study is purposive sampling. The sampling method in this study was convenience sampling and included a total of 337 respondents. Data collection was conducted using a questionnaire in the form of a Google Form. Data analysis and testing techniques were processed with the help of the SPSS 26.0 for Windows program. The results showed that the self-efficacy variable partially had no significant relationship with work readiness, as evidenced by p = 0.284 > 0.05. The self-concept variable also did not show a significant relationship with work readiness, as evidenced by p = 0.458 > 0.05. The analysis of family support variables partially showed a significant relationship with work readiness, as evidenced by p = 0.028 < 0.05. Simultaneously, the results indicated a significant relationship, where F = 8.806 at p = 0.000 < 0.05, with the coefficient of determination (R2) being 7.3%. This study provides novelty in the work readiness variable, showing no relationship between the variables of self-efficacy and self-concept with work readiness.
