Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan modul pembelajaran tematik integratif berkarakter nasionalisme subtema “Aku Bangga dengan Daerah Tempat Tinggalku” yang layak dan efektif untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan prestasi belajar peserta didik kelas IV SDN 2 Tinggarjaya Banyumas. Desain penelitian mengacu pada RD Borg Gall. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji t dengan taraf signifikansi 0,05. Kelayakan dari aspek materi skor 147, aspek media skor 91, respons guru skor 60, dan respons peserta didik skor 36,13. Keefektifan dilihat dari pengamatan sikap nasionalisme dengan persentase peserta didik yang menunjukan sikap positif pada kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi daripada kontrol. Pengamatan aktivitas peserta didik pada kelas eksperimen yang menunjukan aktivitas dengan kategori “tinggi” presentasenya lebih besar dibanding dengan kontrol. Hasil analisis data prestasi belajar kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen 1 menunjukan taraf signifikansi 0,020, serta pada kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen 2 menunjukan taraf signifikansi 0,011. Dengan demikian, modul yang dikembangkan layak digunakan pada kelas IV SD. Kata kunci: modul pembelajaran, tematik integratif, nasionalisme DEVELOPING INTEGRATIVE THEMATIC LEARNING MODULE WITH NATIONALIST CHARACTER FOR CLASS IV ELEMENTARY SCHOOL IN BANYUMAS Abstract: This study aims to generate integrative thematic learning modules with nationalist character; sub-theme: "Aku Bangga dengan Daerah Tempat Tinggalku" that is suitable and effective to enhance the activity and learning outcomes of the grade IV students of SD Negeri 2 Tinggarjaya, Banyumas. This development research refers to the stages developed by Borg Gall. Data analysis technique used t test with significance level of 0.05. The results show that the eligibility from the material aspect that is 147 score, media aspect gets 91 score, the responsse of teachers get 60 score, and the responsse of students get 36.13. The effectiveness can be seen from the observation of nationalism learners who show a positive attitude in the experimental class which has a higher percentage than the control. Furthermore, based on the observation of the activity of learners with the result of the experimental class has a tendency to have activity in the category of "high" percentage which is greater than the control. Then, from the results of the data analysis of learning outcomes in the control class and experimental class 1, indicates a significance level of 0.020, as well as the control class and experimental class 2 shows the significance level of 0.011. It can be concluded that the module developed is feasible use for the grade IV SD. Keywords: learning module, integrative thematic, nationalism

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran tematik integratif yang layak dan efektif untuk meningkatkan karakter santun dan tanggung jawab, motivasi intrinsik, dan prestasi belajar siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan yang terdiri atas sepuluh tahap, yaitu penelitian dan pengumpulan data, perencanaan, pengembangan produk awal, uji coba awal, revisi hasil uji coba awal, uji coba lapangan, revisi produk hasil uji coba lapangan, uji pelaksanaan lapangan, penyempurnaan produk akhir, dan diseminasi produk. Subjek uji coba berjumlah 3 siswa SD Glagahan pada uji coba awal, dan 9 orang siswa SD Tunjungan pada uji coba lapangan yang dipilih berdasarkan kriteria tinggi, sedang, dan rendah. Hasil penelitian ini berupa perangkat pembelajaran meliputi: silabus, RPP, LKS, media pembelajaran, dan soal tes prestasi. Hasil penilaian ahli materi dan ahli media untuk menguji kevalidan perangkat pembelajaran dinyatakan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran valid dan berkategori baik. Hasil uji coba menunjukkan bahwa produk yang dikembangkan layak serta memenuhi kriteria praktis dan efektif dalam meningkatkan karakter, motivasi, dan prestasi belajar siswa. Pembelajaran dengan produk yang dikembangkan mampu meningkatkan karakter santun dan tanggung jawab, motivasi intrinsik, dan prestasi belajar siswa. Kata kunci: perangkat pembelajaran tematik, karakter, motivasi, prestasi belajar. DEVELOPING THEMATIC LEARNING KITS TO IMPROVE THE CHARACTERS, MOTIVATION, AND LEARNING ACHIEVEMENT OF THE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL Abstract: This study aims to produce integrated thematic learning kits capable of improving students’ characters, especially politeness and responsibility, learning motivation, especially intrinsic learning motivation, and learning achievement. This was a research and development study consisting of ten stages, namely research and data collection, planning, preliminary product development, preliminary tryout, revision based on the preliminary tryout results, field tryout, revision based on the field tryout results, field implementation testing, product finalization, and product dissemination. The tryout subjects were Grade II students of the elementary school, consisting of 3 students of SD Glagahan in the preliminary tryout and 9 students of SD Tunjungan in the field tryout, selected based on the criteria for students from the upper, moderate, and lower groups. The research product is integrated thematic learning kits consisting of a syllabus, lesson plans, student worksheets, learning media, and learning achievement tests. The results of the assessment by the material expert and the learning media expert show that the developed learning kits are valid and good and appropriate to be used for thematic learning at the elementary school. The results of the tryout show that the developed learning kits are appropriate and capable of improving students’ characters, motivation, and learning achievement. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mengungkapkan peran guru sebagai teladan dalam pengembangan karakter peserta didik dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pengembangan karakter peserta didik di SMPN 2 Depok, Sleman. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang subjek penelitiannya adalah kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah, guru Pendidikan Agama, guru PPKn, guru Bimbingan Konseling, wali kelas, peserta didik, dan ketua komite di SMPN 2 Depok, Sleman. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan model interaktif dari Miles Huberman yang meliputi langkah-langkah: reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan simpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran guru sebagai teladan ditunjukkan oleh tutur kata, sikap,  dan kepribadiannya, seperti sopan santun, disiplin, tanggung jawab, toleransi, jujur, serta kepedulian terhadap peserta didik dan orang lain. Faktor yang mendukung  pengembangan karakter peserta didik yaitu adanya komitmen warga sekolah, standar isi kurikulum, kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, kebersamaan. Faktor penghambat pengembangan karakter peserta didik meliputi terbatasnya sumber dana, kurangnya kepedulian orang tua, dan sikap apatis dari beberapa guru dan peserta didik.Kata Kunci: peran guru, keteladanan guru, peserta didik yang berkarakterTHE ROLE OF TEACHERS IN DEVELOPMENT OF THE CHARACTER STUDENTS OF STATE JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL 2 DEPOK SLEMAN                                      Abstract: This study aims to reveal the role of teachers as example with in development of the character studets and the factors that influence development of character students of State Junior High School (SMPN) 2 Depok, Sleman. This study used the descriptive qualitative approach. The  subjects were the headmaster, headmaster deputies, teachers, studeats, and chairman of the committee of SMPN 2 Depok, Sleman. Techniques used to collect data were interview, observation, and documentation. The data analysis used interactive model of Miles Huberman, following the steps of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawings. The results of the research show the following the role of  teachers as example must be demonstrated through speech, attitude, and personality, like courtesy, discipline, responsibility, tolerance, honesty, and concern for students and others. The factors that support development of character students include their commitment to the school community, the curriculum standard content, headmaster leadership, and togetherness. The factors that inhibit the development of character students include the limited financial resources, lack of awareness of parents, and in different attitude of some teachers and students.Keywords: the role of teacher, exemplary teacher, students with noble character

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) menghasilkan bahan ajar tematik integratif berbasis kearifan lokal yang layak untuk meningkatkan karakter peduli dan tanggung jawab siswa dan (2) mengetahui keefektifan bahan ajar tematik integratif berbasis kearifan lokal untuk meningkatkan karakter peeduli dan tanggung jawab siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan (RD) yang mengacu pada pendapat Borg Gall. Subjek uji coba adalah siswa kelas IV MIN Jejeran, Pleret, Bantul. Hasil penilaian ahli menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar yang dikembangkan layak untuk digunakan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar ini efektif untuk meningkatkan karakter peduli dan tanggung jawab siswa. Berdasarkan uji-t berpasangan didapat signifikansi untuk karakter peduli pada kelas eksperimen 1 sebesar 0,00 dan kelas eksperimen 2 sebesar 0,00 dan karakter tanggung jawab pada kelas eksperimen 1 sebesar 0,00 dan kelas eksperimen 2 sebesar 0,00 yang berarti ada perbedaan yang signifikan karakter peduli dan tanggung jawab siswa sebelum dan sesudah mengikuti pembelajaran dengan menggunakan bahan ajar tematik integratif berbasis kearifan lokal. Kata Kunci: bahan ajar, tematik integratif, pembelajaran berbasis kearifan lokal, peduli, tanggung jawab. DEVELOPING THEMATIC INTEGRATED TEACHING MATERIALS BASED ON LOCAL WISDOM TO IMPROVE CARE AND RESPONSSIBILITY Abstract This study aim to (1) produce a thematic integrated teaching materials based on local wisdom that is feasible to improve care and responssibility character and (2) find out the effectiveness of the integrated thematic teaching materials based on local wisdom to improve care and responssibility character.This study is a research and development according to the opinion of Borg Gall. The testing subject were grade IV students of MIN Jejeran, Pleret, Bantul. The result of expert’s evaluation shows that the teaching materials which have been developed are feasible.The result show that the teaching materials is effective to improve care and responssibility character of students. Based on paired t-test for the care character in experiment class 1 gained sig 0.00 and in experiment class 2 gained sig 0.00. The responssibilty character in experiment class 1 gained 0.00 and experiment class 2 gained sig 0.00. The result show that there are significant differences in care and responssibility character of students before and after learning by using integrated thematic teaching materials based on local wisdom. Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis muatan nilai-nilai karakter dalam buku teks Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan SMP Kelas VIII. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis konten dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Sumber data penelitian adalah buku teks Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan SMP kelas VIII. Unit analisis dalam penelitian ini adalah muatan nilai karakter yang tersebar dalam semua bagian buku. Pengumpulan data dengan analisis secara cermat dan pencatatan tentang muatan nilai karakter yang ada dalam buku teks. Pemeriksaan keabsahan data berdasarkan validitas semantik dan reliabilitasnya adalah reliabilitas interrater. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa muatan nilai-nilai karakter kebangsaan yang dikembangkan oleh Kemendikbud dalam buku teks Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan SMP kelas VIII disajikan pada tiga bagian yaitu (1) pada bagian pendahuluan terdiri atas kalimat motivasi, ilustrasi gambar, (2) bagian inti terdiri atas uraian materi pelajaran, tugas individu, dan tugas kelompok, dan (3) bagian penutup terdiri atas refleksi, uji kompetensi, penilaian afektif, dan praktik kewarganegaraan. Kata Kunci: nilai karakter, buku teks, Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan THE ANALYSIS OF CHARACTER VALUES IN PANCASILA AND CIVICS EDUCATION TEXTBOOK FOR VIII GRADE JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL Abstract: The purpose of this study is to analyze the content of character values in Pancasila and Civics Education Textbook for VIII grade Junior High School. The research method uses content analysis with qualitative approach. The sources of the data research are the Pancasila and Civics Education textbooks for VIII grade Junior High School. The unit of analysis in this study is the content of the character values spread in all parts of the book. While the data collection using a careful analysis and recording the content of the character values in the text book. The validity of the data is based on semantic validity, while the reliability is the interrater reliability. The result of the research shows that the content of the Nationality character values which have been developed by the Ministry of National Education and Culture in Pancasila and Civics Education textbook for VIII grade Junior High School is presented in three parts: (1) The introduction consists of motivation sentences, picture illustration; (2) the core section consists of a description of the subject matter, individual tasks, and group tasks; (3) the closing section consists of reflections, competency tests, affective judgments, and civic practices. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan pengembangan moral anak TK PKK Sosrowijayan Yogyakarta dan mengungkapkan perkembangan moral anak TK PKK Sosrowijayan Yogyakarta. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini terdiri atas kepala sekolah, guru, dan anak didik TK PKK Sosrowijayan Yogyakarta. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan analisis dokumen. Data penelitian dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis kualitatif secara interaktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan moral anak TK PKK Sosrowijayan mencakup aspek materi, pendidik, metode dan evaluasi. Materi yang dikembangkan di TK Sosrowijayan mengacu pada Permendiknas No. 58 Tahun 2009 tentang Standar Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini. Pendidik sudah dapat menjadi teladan bagi anak. Metode pengembangan moral menggunakan metode: pembiasaan, bercerita, keteladanan, dan bernyanyi. Evaluasi yang digunakan evaluasi proses menggunakan teknik observasi tanpa lembar observasi dan hanya mengandalkan ingatan guru. Kata Kunci: pengembangan moral, lokalisasi, taman kanak-kanak. THE MORAL DEVELOPMENT OF CHILDREN IN PASAR KEMBANG PROSTITUTION OF PKK KINDERGARTEN SOSROWIJAYAN YOGYAKARTA Abstract: This study aims to: (1) reveals the moral development of children in kindergartens PKK Sosrowijayan Yogyakarta, and (2) reveals the moral development of children in kindergartens PKK Sosrowijayan Yogyakarta. The approach used in this study is qualitative. Subjects of this study consisted of principals, teachers, and students PKK kindergarten, Sosrowijayan, Yogyakarta, Indonesia. The research data was collected through interviews, observation and document analysis. Data were analyzed using qualitative analysis techniques interactively: data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results showed that the moral development of TK PKK Sosrowijayan covers the material aspects, educators, methods and evaluation. The material was developed in kindergarten Sosrowijayan refers Permendiknas No 58 of 2009. Educators have can be a role model for students. Moral development method using the method: habituation, storytelling, modeling and singing. Evaluations are used in the evaluation process using observation without observation sheets teachers just rely on memory. Moral development of children in accordance with the stages of development of children aged 5-6 years. Keywords: moral development, prostitution, kindergarten

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan media pembelajaran berupa video animasi yang layak dan untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar dan karakter semangat kebangsaan siswa kelas V sekolah dasar se-Kecamatan Piyungan, Bantul. Penelitian dan Pengembangan (RD) ini menggunakan langkah-langkah pengembangan menurut Borg Gall, tetapi desain pengembangan video animasi hanya meliputi 9 langkah, yaitu (1) pengumpulan informasi, (2) perencanaan, (3) pengembangan produk awal, (4) uji coba lapangan awal, (5) revisi produk awal, (6) uji coba lapangan utama, (7) revisi produk, (8) uji coba lapangan operasional, dan (9) revisi produk akhir. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media video animasi ini layak digunakan menurut ahli materi dan ahli media dengan kategori “baik”. Produk yang dikembangkan juga terbukti efektif meningkatkan motivasi belajar dan karakter semangat kebangsaan siswa kelas V SD se-Kecamatan Piyungan Bantul. Rata-rata skor motivasi belajar dan karakter semangat kebangsaan pada kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi daripada kelas kontrol. DEVELOPING LEARNING MEDIA TO ENHANCE THE LEARNING MOTIVATION AND NATIONALISM CHARACTER OF THE 5 GRADE STUDENTS OF ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS Abstract: This research aims to produce an animation video media that is feasible and effective for increasing the learning motivation and nationalism character of the 5 grade students of elementary schools in Kecamatan Piyungan, Bantul. This research is a research and development study from Borg Gall model, but the design of an animation video consists of only nine steps, including (1) information collection, (2) planning, (3) preliminary product development, (4) preliminary field testing, (5) main product revision, (6) main field testing, (7) operational product revision, (8) operational field testing, and (9) final product revision. The results are as follows the developed animation video media is fit use according to the material expert and media expert, which is in a “good” category. The developed animation video media is effective for increasing the learning motivation and nationalism character of the 5 grade students of elementary schools in Kecamatan Piyungan, Bantul. The average score of learning motivation and nationalism character in the experimental class which is higher than that of the control class. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan: 1) menghasilkan LKPD tematik-integratif tema “Tempat Tinggalku” yang layak bagi peserta didik kelas IV SDN 2 Tinggarjaya dan 2) mengetahui efektivitas LKPD tematik-integratif tema “Tempat Tinggalku” pada peserta didik kelas IV SDN 2 Tinggarjaya yang dikembangkan. Penelitian pengembangan ini mengacu pada langkah yang dikembangkan oleh Borg Gall. Subjek penelitian adalah peseta didik kelas IV SDN 2 Tinggarjaya. Pengumpulan data menggunakan pedoman wawancara, lembar penilaian produk LKPD, lembar observasi guru, lembar observasi peserta didik, angket respons guru dan angket respons peserta didik, dan angket karakter peserta didik. Analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Data peningkatan karakter jujur dan peduli dianalisis dengan menggunakan gain standar. Data perbedaan karakter jujur dan peduli dianalisis menggunakan uji t dengan taraf signifikansi 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa LKPD menurut ahli materi, evaluasi, dan kurikulum ditinjau dari aspek pengintegrasian karakter mendapat skor 4 kategori baik, aspek pedagogi mendapat skor 4,46 kategori sangat baik, konstruksi mendapat skor 4,49 kategori sangat baik dan teknis mendapat skor 4,32 kategori sangat baik sehingga LKPD yang dikembangkan layak digunakan. Pada uji lapangan diperoleh nilai signifikansi gain karakter jujur dan peduli yaitu 0,000 0,05, sehingga H0 ditolak. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan rata-rata peningkatan karakter jujur dan peduli. Kata kunci: lembar kerja peserta didik, tematik-integratif, karakter jujur dan peduli. DEVELOPMENT OF STUDENTS THEMATIC-INTEGRATIVE ACTIVITY SHEET BASED ON CHARACTER IN CLASS IV SDN 2 TINGGARJAYA Abstract: This study aims to: (1) develop a thematic student activity sheet on the theme “Where I Live” suitable for fourth grade students of Public Elementary School 2 Tinggarjaya, and (2) determine the effectiveness of thematic-integrative student activity sheet grade students Public Elementary School 2 Tinggarjaya developed. This study refers to the development and research developed by Borg Gall that includes. Subject research fourth grade students of SDN 2 Tinggarjaya. Collecting data used interview guides, product assessment student activity sheet, teacher observation sheets, observation sheets of learners, the teacher questionnaire responsses and questionnaire responsses of learners. Mechanical analysis using quantitative descriptive analysis techniques. Data enhancement honest and caring character were analyzed using gain standard. Data honest and caring character differences were analyzed using t test with a significance level of 5%. The results show that the material student activity sheet according to experts, evaluation, curriculum and teachers in terms of aspects of integrating character got good score of 4 categories, aspects of Pedagogy got a very good score of 4.46 category, construction got a score of 4.49 excellent and the technical category got a score of 4, 32 categories very well developed so student activity sheet fit for use. In the field tests it is obtained a significance value gain honest and caring character as much as 0.000 Keywords: worksheet learners (LKPD), thematic-integrative, creative character and hard work.

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji urutan perkuliahan berbasis logika, dan mengetahui pengaruhnya terhadap tumbuhnya karakter akademik mahasiswa (ketelitian berpikir, sikap kritis, dan tanggung jawab). Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode Penelitian dan Pengembangan (RD). Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan pengukuran (test). Pelaksanaan penelitian dilakukan pada mahasiswa semester pertama di FKIP, Universitas Siliwangi Tasikmalaya. Data diolah secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasilnya diketahui bahwa urutan model perkuliahan berbasis logika berpengaruh positif terhadap tumbuhnya karakter akademik mahasiswa (ketelitian berpikir, sikap kritis, dan tanggung jawab). Diharapkan hasil penelitian ini ditindaklanjuti dan divalidasi oleh orang-orang yang memiliki profesi yang sama. Kata Kunci : model perkuliahan, logika, karakter akademik, ketelitian berpikir, sikap kritis, tanggung jawab GROWING ACADEMIC CHARACTERS IN LOGICAL- BASED LECTURING Abstract: The aim of this research are to study a logical-based lecturing order, and to recognize it’s impact toward the growth student accademic characters ( precision thinking, critical atitude, and responsibility). The method used in this study is Research and Development. Besides the tecnique of data collecting was taken by observation, interview, and examination. The research held for student in 1st semester of 2015/2016 accademic year at Faculty of Teacher Training and Education Siliwangi University Tasikmalaya. The data were processed quantitativeli and qualitatively. The result know that syntax of lacturing based on the logic model have a positive impact toward student accademic characters ( precision thinking, critcal attitude, and reponsibility). To strether this research result the it is suggested that the research should be followed up and validated by whom in the same profesion. Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan dan mengetahui keefektifan buku ajar pada pembelajaran tematik integratif berbasis discovery learning subtema Sumber Energi kelas III SD Negeri 4 Krandegan Banjarnegara. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D). Pengumpulan data menggunakan pedoman wawancara, lembar penilaian produk buku ajar, lembar pengamatan motivasi belajar dan karakter tanggung jawab, angket motivasi dan karakter tanggung jawab, angket respons guru, angket respons peserta didik. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji t dengan taraf signifikansi 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan aspek materi yang memperoleh skor 166 dengan kategori “baik”, aspek media memperoleh nilai 95 dengan kategori “sangat baik”, respons guru memperoleh nilai 69 dengan kategori “sangat baik”, respons peserta didik memperoleh 9,82 dengan kategori “sangat baik”. Keefektifan dapat dilihat dari observasi karakter tanggung jawab peserta didik kelas eksperimen 1 dan eksperimen 2 memperoleh skor 18,5 dan 15,78. Hasil angket motivasi belajar peserta didik kelas eksperimen 1 dan eksperimen 2 memperoleh skor 58,71 dan 60,5. Collecting data used interview guides, product assessment sheet textbook, observation sheet motivation to learn and character responssibility, teacher questionnaire, the questionnaire responsses of learners. Data were analyzed using t test with significance level of 0.05. The results showed the aspect of material obtained a score of 166 with the "good" category, media aspects scored 95 with the category of "very good", the responsse of teachers scored 69 in the category of "very good", the responsse of students also gained 9.82 by category "very good". The effectiveness can be seen from the observation of the learning motivation of students in the experimental class 1 and experiment 2 obtained a score of 18.67 and 16.07, while the character of responssibility observation learners of the experimental class 1 and 2 obtained a score of 18.5 and 15.78. The results of learners' learning motivation questionnaire of the experimental class 1 and experiment 2 obtained a score of 58.71 and 60.5.
