Abstract

Education industry has been the subject of interest in the study, because the modern market today all companies and institutions are required to develop capacity and provide a flexible reaction to survive and develop capabilities advantage in the markets they serve. By understanding the variables of service quality and loyalty of students, not only can help educational organizations in managing its resources optimally as possible, but even more important is to maintain life so as to keep education, as well as building long-term relationships with their students.This study aims to determine the effect of variable HEdPERF (non-academics, academic, reputation, access, and programs offered) the loyalty of the students. The method used in the analysis of Multiple Linear Regression terms to meet Classical Assumption Test to test the hypothesis put forward. Based on the analysis and discussion of the five variables found that HEdPERF only three variables, namely the non-academic, reputation, and at that partially have an influence on student loyalty. While academic and access variables no significant effect on student loyalty. In addition, HEdPERF variables simultaneously affect the loyalty of students amounted to 23.9%, while the remaining 76.1% are other factors beyond the variables HEdPERF. The strong relationship HEdPERF variable loyalty for 52.8% of students can be quite strong. While HEdPERF variables that have most dominant influence on student loyalty program offered is a variable that is by by 8.22%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) tingkat efikasi diri yang dimiliki oleh siswa kelas IX MTs Al Hikmah Brebes, (2) tingkat kecemasan dalam menghadapi ujian yang dimiliki oleh siswa kelas IX MTs Al Hikmah Brebes, (3) hubungan antara efikasi diri dengan kecemasan dalam menghadapi ujian pada siswa kelas IX MTs Al Hikmah Brebes.  Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis korelasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan subjek penelitian sebanyak 62 siswa yang diambil dari sebagian siswa kelas IX MTs Al Hikmah Brebes dengan menggunakan teknik proporsional random sampling. Waktu penelitian pada bulan Maret - April 2014. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan berupa skala efikasi diri dan kecemasan dalam menghadapi ujian. Validitas instrumen diuji menggunakan rumus product moment. Reliabilitas instrumen diuji menggunakan rumus alpha cronbach. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan statistik analisis deskriptif, uji persyaratan analisis dan analisis korelasi product moment dengan bantuan komputer program SPSS versi 16.0 for Windows. Penelitian menunjukkan: (1) tingkat efikasi diri siswa kelas IX MTs Al Hikmah Brebes 51,6 % pada kategori sedang, (2) tingkat kecemasan dalam menghadapi ujian siswa kelas IX MTs Al Hikmah Brebes 69,4 % pada kategori tinggi, (3) ada hubungan negatif yang signifikan antara efikasi diri dengan kecemasan dalam menghadapi ujian pada siswa kelas IX MTs Al Hikmah Brebes, dengan nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar -0,575. Hasil koefisien determinasi menunjukkan bahwa variabel efikasi diri memberikan sumbangan terhadap variabel kecemasan dalam menghadapi ujian sebesar 33,0% dan selebihnya sebesar 67,0% oleh variabel lain.                                                                           Kata kunci : efikasi diri, kecemasan dalam menghadapi ujian

Abstract

Every company puts consumers’  satisfaction as the main priority in service to win the competition among similar companies. The use of Fuzzy Quantification II for evaluating the costumers’ satisfaction of two self-service supermarkets, namely Alfa and Indogrosir, had been done. Although both Indogrosir and Alfa have the same characteristic as supermarkets, they differ in the company policies and each has their own superiorities.  The satisfaction level which are formed by several qualitative data will be transformed into numerical one. These two supermarkets are treated as an External Standard Variable ( y ) to become the objective function of purpose. There were 13 factors including the varieties and the quality of goods indicated as Parameter Variable which influence the satisfaction level. The results show that the varieties of goods are the most dominant factor for the costumers’ satisfaction. Futhermore, it shows that the satisfaction level for Alfa Supermarket is 0.69 and for Indogrosir is 0.60. Keywords: consumers’ satisfaction, fuzzy quantification, external standard variable.

Abstract

Leather industry is one of small industries in Special Yogyakarta Province which contributes Regional Gross Domestic Product (PDRB) and generates employment. This re¬search analyzes cross section data in 2000th using purposive sampling method for data col¬lecting. Data analysis is Gender Inequality and Equivalent Index (IKKG) and Logit Model. Based on the empirical analysis, conclusions of this research are: 1) IKKG of entrepreneur leathers who have Educational Elementary School (SD), SMP, and SMA is 0 (zero). IKKG of the Leather Industrial person according to educational background is only female who has high education, with the value of 1, on the other hands the lower level education background has 0 (zero) value of IKKG. 2) The value of IKKG of the female workers who have SD, SMP, and SMA education background have lower chance to work compared with the male worker. Even that so the chance of SD workers is bigger than that of SMP or SMA workers. 3) The production expansion probability on leather industry is altogether affected by management’s perspectives genders, business managing experience, level of education and mounts of workers. Partially the factors affect it are: business management experience, mount of workers, and application of partnership, and on the other hand   level of education does not affect it.Key words: Gender Inequality and Equivalent Index (IKKG), Logit Model, gender perspectives.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan media pembelajaran berupa video animasi yang layak dan untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar dan karakter semangat kebangsaan siswa kelas V sekolah dasar se-Kecamatan Piyungan, Bantul. Penelitian dan Pengembangan (RD) ini menggunakan langkah-langkah pengembangan menurut Borg Gall, tetapi desain pengembangan video animasi hanya meliputi 9 langkah, yaitu (1) pengumpulan informasi, (2) perencanaan, (3) pengembangan produk awal, (4) uji coba lapangan awal, (5) revisi produk awal, (6) uji coba lapangan utama, (7) revisi produk, (8) uji coba lapangan operasional, dan (9) revisi produk akhir. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media video animasi ini layak digunakan menurut ahli materi dan ahli media dengan kategori “baik”. Produk yang dikembangkan juga terbukti efektif meningkatkan motivasi belajar dan karakter semangat kebangsaan siswa kelas V SD se-Kecamatan Piyungan Bantul. Rata-rata skor motivasi belajar dan karakter semangat kebangsaan pada kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi daripada kelas kontrol. Kata Kunci : media, video animasi, motivasi belajar, karakter, semangat kebangsaan. DEVELOPING LEARNING MEDIA TO ENHANCE THE LEARNING MOTIVATION AND NATIONALISM CHARACTER OF THE 5 GRADE STUDENTS OF ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS Abstract: This research aims to produce an animation video media that is feasible and effective for increasing the learning motivation and nationalism character of the 5 grade students of elementary schools in Kecamatan Piyungan, Bantul. This research is a research and development study from Borg Gall model, but the design of an animation video consists of only nine steps, including (1) information collection, (2) planning, (3) preliminary product development, (4) preliminary field testing, (5) main product revision, (6) main field testing, (7) operational product revision, (8) operational field testing, and (9) final product revision. The results are as follows the developed animation video media is fit use according to the material expert and media expert, which is in a “good” category. The developed animation video media is effective for increasing the learning motivation and nationalism character of the 5 grade students of elementary schools in Kecamatan Piyungan, Bantul. The average score of learning motivation and nationalism character in the experimental class which is higher than that of the control class. Abstract

AbstrakSalah stau cabang ilmu fisika yang mempelajari tentang kalor dan usaha adalah termodinamika. Materi hukum termodinamika dianggap cukup sulit oleh sebagian besar peserta didik sehingga hasil belajar pada materi hukum termodinamika masih rendah. Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya instrumen evaluasi yang mendukung proses pembelajaran yang baik dan efektif untuk pendidik maupun peserta didik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui seberapa besar kebutuhan sekolah (para pendidik) terhadap instrumen evaluasi berbasis HOTS di SMA/MA se Kota Semarang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Studi literasi dari berbagai penelitian sebelumnya menunjukkan bahwa instrumen evaluasi berbasis HOTS sangat efektif digunakan para pendidik untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik. Sedangkan, hasil dari data kuesioner yang dibagikan kepada para pendidik dari 11 sekolah menunjukkan selama ini 81,8% pendidik hanya menggunakan soal evaluasi dengan kategori C1-C3. Berdasarkan wawancara dari beberapa pendidik belum menggunakan soal berbasis HOTS karena belum terlalu menguasai model tersebut. Sebanyak 72,7% pendidik menyatakan perlu menggunakan instrumen evaluasi berbasis HOTS untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi termodinamik. Untuk itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan instrumen evaluasi berbasis HOTS dibutuhkan sebagai alternatif untuk mengetahui hasil belajar peserta didik materi hukum termodinamika.

Abstract

An understanding of the photoelectric effect is the key to understanding the basics of quantum physics. The photoelectric effect can explain the quantization of energy that cannot be explained using classical physics theory. This study aims to determine the level of understanding of the concept of sixth semester physics education students of Semarang State University about the photoelectric effect. The data collection method used is a test method that contains a number of questions to reveal the students' conception of the photoelectric effect. Data analysis techniques in this study are quantitative and qualitative analysis. The results showed that as many as 61% -64% of students still had difficulty in distinguishing the effect of the frequency and intensity of light on the photoelectric effect. In addition, more than 83% of students have not been able to understand the function of the potential difference given between the cathode and anode plate in the photoelectric effect experiment. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the level of understanding of the concept of students is still low, which is characterized by the existence of several types of misconceptions about the photoelectric effect.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the profile of achievement of students 'science process skills and students' cognitive abilities improvement in physics learning with the help of LKS Inquiry Activity based on CNP learning model. The study design used was a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The subject of this research is students of class X SMA Negeri 7 Yogyakarta amounting to 32 students. The data were collected by using test instruments in the form of pretest-posttest, LKS Inquiry Activity based on CNP learning model, and student response questionnaire. The profile of students 'science skill achievement can be determined from the scores criteria scores 5. The results obtained after using LKS Inquiry Activity based on CNP learning model that is the achievement profile of students' science process skill in Finding Out Question, Discussion, And Determination And Study Related Theory is included in the good category with a score of 4.00, 4.11 and 3.53, respectively. For the Inquiry Activity skill, it is categorized as excellent with a score of 4.50. Meanwhile, students' cognitive abilities increased with an average score of 4.32 with a good category. Students' responses to LKS Inquiry Activity based on the CNP learning model earned a grade of 3.57 in either category. It indicates that LKS Inquiry Activity based on CNP learning model can know the profile of the achievement of science process skill.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berusaha untuk memperluas pengaruh experiential marketing (yaitu., rasa, merasakan, berpikir, bertindak dan berhubungan) terhadap kepuasan pelanggan serta dampak kepuasan pelanggan terhadap komitmen pelanggan, terutama dalam konteks online shop. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan tentang pengaruh positif experiential marketing, kepuasan konsumen terhadap komitmen konsumen serta untuk mengetahui variabel independent yang paling kuat mempengaruhi variabel dependent di Online Shop “Dhe_ Shop”. Metode pengujian statistik dengan menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda dan analisis regresi linear sederhana dengan taraf signifikansi 5%, dalam mengambil keputusan dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji F, uji t parsial, uji asumsi klasik, uji determinasi ganda dan uji determinasi parsial. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa berdasarkan uji F dan uji t, terdapat pengaruh signifikan variabel experiential marketing yang terdiri dari sense, feel, think, act, dan relate secara bersama-sama dan parsial terhadap kepuasan konsumen. Sedangkan variabel yang dominan mempengaruhi kepuasan konsumen adalah variabel relate. Hal ini berarti relate merupakan pertimbangan utama bagi konsumen dalam memilih produk tas dan beauty care online shop “ Dhe_Shop“ sehingga dapat merasakan kepuasan. Abstract

Adolescents are very attention to their physical appearance, with regard to physical appearance, adolescents make efforts so that their physical appearance in accordance with the guidance of their social community. One product supporting physical appearance often hunted adolescents clothing. Based on this phenomenon, the researchers interested in studying about the analysis of consumer involvement toward willingness to pay a premium on fashion products, mediation by brand status and brand attitude. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of consumer involvement on brand status of fashion products and brend attitude, then the influence of the brand status of fashion products and brand attitude toward the willingness to pay a premium price. This study used questionnaires distributed to adolescents aged 18-21 years, then the data is processed using an analysis SEM (Structural Equation Model) via AMOS software. Results from this research that consumer involvement has a positive and significant effect on the brand status and brand attitude, then the brand status of fashion products and brand attitude have a positive and significant impact on the willingness to pay a premium price.
