Abstract

Bermain balok merupakan kemampuan dalam kegiatan yang sifatnya konstruktif dengan membangun bangunan yang kompleks menggunakan balok unit yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan koordinasi mata dan tangan, melatih keterampilan motorik halus, melatih anak dalam memecahkan masalah, permainan yang memberikan anak kebebasan berimajinasi, sehingga hal-hal baru dapat tercipta sebagai seativitas anak ebuah ide kreatif. Dasar pemikiran diadakan perbaikan pembelajaran ini adalah rendahnya kreativitas anak. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah : 1) untuk mengetahui bahwa melalui metode praktik langsung dapat meningkatkan kreativitas dalam membentuk balok bangunan pada anak, 2) untuk mengetahui besarnya peningkatan kreativitas dalam membentuk balok bangunan melalui metode praktik langsung pada anak Kelompok A TK Negeri Kabupaten Temanggung Semester I Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017. Subyek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik Kelompok A TK Negeri Kabupaten Temanggung berjumlah 15 anak. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bermain balok bangunan terbukti efektif dapat meningkatkan kreativitas anak di Kelompok A TK Negeri Kabupaten  Temanggung Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017. Hal tersebut ditandai dengan tercapainya kriteria ketuntasan pada penelitian tindakan kelas yang sudah dilakukan. Ketuntasan hasil belajar anak yang mendapat nilai berkembang sangat baik dari Siklus I ke Siklus II mengalami kenaikan sebesar 60%, sehingga dari kondisi awal ke Siklus II mengalami kenaikan sebesar 73,3%. Pada indikator kinerja peneliti menentukan 80% anak dapat menunjukkan kreativitasnya, pada Siklus II telah melebihi target yang diharapkan yaitu 86,7% anak mampu menunjukkan kreativitasnya dalam menciptakan suatu bentuk dengan menggunakan balok bangunan dan menceritakan hasil karyanya.

Abstract

Abstrak: Pendidikan berperan penting untuk memajukan peradaban manusia. Tujuan pendidikan pada intinya ada dua, yaitu menjadikan peserta didik menjadi orang yang pandai sekaligus juga orang baik. Bila tujuan tersebut dapat dicapai, peradaban manusia akan cenderung menjadi lebih maju dibanding sebelumnya. Sebaliknya, bila kedua atau salah satu tujuan tersebut dikesampingkan, yang terjadi adalah hancurnya peradaban bangsa. Bagi bangsa Indonesia, untuk menjadikan peserta didik sebagai orang baik diperlukan upaya pendidikan karakter yang holistik dan komprehensif. Makna holistik terkait dengan nilai-nilai yang dijadikan acuan dan makna komprehensif terkait dengan aspek-aspek yang terkait dan saling selaras. Pendekatan komprehensif diharapkan dapat memberikan pemecahan masalah yang relatif lebih tuntas dibandingkan dengan pendekatan tunggal. Istilah komprehensif dalam pendidikan nilai mencakup berbagai aspek: isi, metode, proses, subjek, evaluasi. Kata Kunci: pendidikan karakter, holistik, komprehensif THE URGENCY OF HOLISTIC AND COMPREHENSIVE CHARACTER EDUCATION IN INDONESIA Abstract: Character education plays an important role in advancing the human civilization. There are two main goals of education: making learners intelligent and simultaneously good persons. If the goals could be achieved, the human civilization will tend to be more advanced than that earlier. In contrast, if both or one of them is neglected, what follows is the destruction of the human civilization. In order to make the learners good persons, the Indonesian people need efforts for holistic and comprehensive character education. Holistic sense is related to the referred values, whereas comprehensive sense refers to interrelated and harmonious aspects. The comprehensive approach is expected to be able to solve problems more effectively than the single approach. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses penanaman nilai tanggung jawab dan kerja sama dan menganalisis hasil belajar mahasiswa mengenai nilai-nilai tanggung jawab dan kerja sama yang dilaksanakan secara terpadu di dalam perkuliahan Ilmu Pendidikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif–naturalistik interpretif. Setting penelitian adalah di Fakultas Ilmu Keolahragaan Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta. Subjek penelitian adalah seluruh mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Jasmani Kesehatan dan Rekreasi (PJKR) Kellas E dan mahasiswa Pendidikan Kepelatihan Olahraga (PKO) Kelas A yang mengambil matakuliah Ilmu Pendidikan. Penentuan subjek penelitian dilakukan secara purposif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara dan observasi kelas. Keabsahan data diperoleh dengan triangulasi sumber dan metode. Analisis data menggunakan model Miles Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan proses pembelajaran nilai tanggung jawab yang diintegrasikan ke dalam perkuliahan Ilmu Pendidikan telah berjalan baik melalui penugasan kelompok dengan pokok bahasan: Pemikiran dan Karya-karya Tokoh Pendidikan. Proses pembelajaran nilai kerja sama telah berhasil diintegrasikan di dalam perkuliahan Ilmu Pendidikan dengan pokok bahasan: Kompetensi Guru Profesional, dengan metode permainan “Amplop”. Hasil pembelajaran nilai-nilai tanggung jawab dan kerja sama telah sesuai dengan yang diharapkan. Subjek mengetahui, merasakan arti penting nilai tanggung jawab dan kerja sama serta melaksanakan nilainilai tersebut dengan berpartisipasi di dalam kelompok. Nilai-nilai pengiring yang muncul selama proses pembelajaran, yaitu nilai keakraban, keluasan wawasan, kreativitas, dan suasana perkuliahan menjadi lebih aktif. Kata Kunci: penanaman nilai, kerja sama, tanggung jawab, pendidikan karakter THE NURTURANCE OF THE VALUES OF RESPOSIBILITY AND COOPERATION INTEGRATED IN THE EDUCATIONAL SCIENCE COURSE Abstract: This research aimed at describing the process of inculcation of the values of responsibility and cooperation, and the students’ learning outcomes on the values of responsibility and cooperation, conducted integratedlyin thecourse of Educational Science (Ilmu Pendidikan). This research employed interpretive qualitative-naturalistic approach. The setting of the research was the Faculty of Sports, Yogyakarta State University. The subjects were allthe students of Class E majoring in Physical Education, Health, and Recreation or Pendidikan Jasmani, Kesehatan dan Rekreasi (PJKR) and the stu- dents of Class A majoring in Sport Coaching Education or Pendidikan Kepelatihan Olahraga (PKO). The subjects were determined purposively. Data were collected through interview and classroom observation. The validity of the data was obtained through the triangulation of the sources and methods. The data were analyzed using the analysis model of Miles and Huberman. The results of the research proved that the teaching and learning process of the value of responsibility integrated in the Educational Science class was well done through group assignments with the topics of: Pemikiran dan Karya-karya Tokoh Pendidikan (Thoughts and Works of Figures in Education). The teaching and learning process of the value of cooperation has been successfully integrated in the Educational Science course under the topic of Professional Teacher’s Competence, using the “Envelope” game technique. The results of the teaching and learning of the values of responsibility and cooperation already met the expected outcomes. The subjects understood and internalized the essence of the values of responsibility and cooperation, and implemented the values by taking part in group activities. Supporting values that emerged during the teaching and learning process were; good rapports, breadth of insights, creativity, and a more active class atmosphere. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan pengembangan moral anak TK PKK Sosrowijayan Yogyakarta dan mengungkapkan perkembangan moral anak TK PKK Sosrowijayan Yogyakarta. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini terdiri atas kepala sekolah, guru, dan anak didik TK PKK Sosrowijayan Yogyakarta. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan analisis dokumen. Data penelitian dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis kualitatif secara interaktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan moral anak TK PKK Sosrowijayan mencakup aspek materi, pendidik, metode dan evaluasi. Materi yang dikembangkan di TK Sosrowijayan mengacu pada Permendiknas No. 58 Tahun 2009 tentang Standar Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini. Pendidik sudah dapat menjadi teladan bagi anak. Metode pengembangan moral menggunakan metode: pembiasaan, bercerita, keteladanan, dan bernyanyi. Evaluasi yang digunakan evaluasi proses menggunakan teknik observasi tanpa lembar observasi dan hanya mengandalkan ingatan guru. Kata Kunci: pengembangan moral, lokalisasi, taman kanak-kanak. THE MORAL DEVELOPMENT OF CHILDREN IN PASAR KEMBANG PROSTITUTION OF PKK KINDERGARTEN SOSROWIJAYAN YOGYAKARTA Abstract: This study aims to: (1) reveals the moral development of children in kindergartens PKK Sosrowijayan Yogyakarta, and (2) reveals the moral development of children in kindergartens PKK Sosrowijayan Yogyakarta. The approach used in this study is qualitative. Subjects of this study consisted of principals, teachers, and students PKK kindergarten, Sosrowijayan, Yogyakarta, Indonesia. The research data was collected through interviews, observation and document analysis. Data were analyzed using qualitative analysis techniques interactively: data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results showed that the moral development of TK PKK Sosrowijayan covers the material aspects, educators, methods and evaluation. The material was developed in kindergarten Sosrowijayan refers Permendiknas No 58 of 2009. Educators have can be a role model for students. Moral development method using the method: habituation, storytelling, modeling and singing. Evaluations are used in the evaluation process using observation without observation sheets teachers just rely on memory. Moral development of children in accordance with the stages of development of children aged 5-6 years. Keywords: moral development, prostitution, kindergarten

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menemukan model pendidikan karakter melalui lagu tradisonal Jawa; mendeskripsikan strategi penanaman nilai dalam model pendidikan karakter melalui lagu tradisional Jawa pada taman kanak-kanak di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan tahap implementasi dengan tahapan: (1) pelaksanaan rencana kegiatan harian pembelajaran karakter; (2) analisis data proses pembelajaran; (3) evaluasi dan revisi rencana kegiatan harian dan praktek pembelajaran; (4) praktek pembelajaran dan menemukan model pendidikan karakter melalui lagu tradisional Jawa di Taman Kanak-Kanak. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa para guru telah dapat menerapkan strategi penanaman nilai untuk pendidikan karakter melalui lagu tradisional Jawa. Lagu tradisional Jawa telah dinyanyikan dengan gerakan permainan anak didik bersama guru. Nilai-nilai yang terkandung di dalam lagu tradisonal Jawa telah ditanamkan oleh para guru dan dapat dipahami dengan baik oleh peserta didik, yaitu (1) lagu gundulgundul pacul (baik, rendah hati, tanggung jawab); (2) sluku-sluku bathok (cinta kepada Tuhan, taat beribadah, dermawan, kerjasama; (3) jaranan (hormat dan sopan santun, tanggung jawab, kedisiplinan, kerjasama); (4) menthog-menthog (baik dan rendah hati, kedamaian, percaya diri); (5) Lir-Ilir (cinta kepada Tuhan, tanggung jawab dan disiplin; (6) Kidang Talun (tata cara makan, berdoa sebelum makan); (7) Padang Bulan (tidak tidur sore-sore, kerja sama) dan (8) Dondong Apa Salak (taat pada orang tua, tidak rewel dan tidak nakal). Kata Kunci: pendidikan karakter, penanaman nilai, lagu tradisional Jawa A MODEL OF CHARAKTER EDUCATION BASED ON LOCAL EDUCATION WISDOM AT ELEMENTARY SCHOOL IN BANTUL Abstract: This research aimed to find a character education model through traditional Javanese songs; to describe the value nurturance strategy in the character education model through traditional Javanese songs at kindergartens in Yogyakarta Special Territory, Indonesia. This was a research and development study at the implementation stage with the steps of: (1) the implementation of daily activity plan for the character nurturance; (2) analysis of teaching and learning process data; (3) evaluation and revision of the daily activity plan and the practice of teaching and learning; (4) the teaching and learning practice and finding the model of character education through the use of traditional Javanese songs at kindergartens. The results showed that the teachers were already able to implement the value nurturance strategy for character education through the use of traditional Javanese songs. The traditional Javanese songs were sung accompanied by game moves of the students and the teacher. The values contained in the traditional Javanese songs were already established by the teachers and could be well understood by the learners, namely the songs of: (1) Gundul-gundul pacul (the character of kindness, humbleness, responsibility); (2) Sluku-sluku bathok (loving God, obedience in serving God, generosity, cooperation); (3) Jaranan (respect and politeness, responsibility, discipline, cooperation); (4) Menthog-menthog (kindness and humbleness, peace, self-confidence); (5) Lir-ilir (loving God, responsibility and discipline); (6) Kidang talun (table manner, praying before eating); (7) Padang bulan (not going to bed too early, cooperation); and (8) Dondong apa salak (obeying parents, not fussy and not naughty). Abstract

Resilience is needed by students who live in disaster-prone areas. With strong resilience, students can implement disaster mitigation. This study aims to describe the profile of students' resilience and the strategies carried out by students in strengthening personal resilience. The mixed method research approach was conducted on a research population of SMA/SMK in Lombok Regency, specifically North Lombok, East Lombok, and West Lombok. The respondents were 779 people from 10 schools in disaster-prone areas determined by the Slovin formula. Student resilience profiles were explored according to Reivich and Shatte. Data on how teachers increase students’ resilience were obtained from a focus group discussion (FGD) with 20 teachers from 10 schools. The results of the research prove that the personal resilience profile of students in Lombok from the seven aspects is still not optimal, which is not enough to form resilience personalities (less than 60%). This study affirms that personal resilience is essential in building school resilience to provide a massive contribution to education and disaster mitigation. Regarding recommendations for schools to increase student resilience, it can be done by increasing resilience resources, strengthening social support, having resilient teachers, building resilient school, all aspects of which must work systemically and synergistically.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap hasil difusi model dan mengukur kriteria model  sebagai inovasi. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian difusi, model perumusan kebijakan sekolah  ramah anak di tingkat satuan pendidikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan mixed qualitrative-quantitative method. Partisipan penelitian ini 10 Sekolah Dasar, total 53 orang.Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, kuisioner, dokumen, dan diskusi terfokus. Teknik analisis data statistic deskriptif dan analisis kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa  model perumusan kebijakan sekolah ramah anak  memenuhi  kriteria  bagus  sebagai  inonasi  karena  sesuai  dengan  lima  kriteria  inovasi  yakni  keunggulan relatif  (relative advantage), kompatibilitas (compatibility),kerumitan  (complexity), kemampuan  diujicobakan (trialability), dan kemampuan diamati (observability). Hasil difusi juga menunjukkan bahwa sekolah mengadopsi model analisis perumusan kebijakan pendidikan sebagai inovasi. Model ini  efektif untuk diterapkan di  sekolah untuk menginterpretasi kebijakan dari tingkat makro dan meso ke dalam kebijakan mikro (satuan Pendidikan). Keefektifan tercapai karena adanya kolaborasi yang sinergis antara Tri Pusat Pendidikan (sekolah, masyarakat, dan keluarga) pada  tahap intepretasi kebijakan dan program, serta pada tahap pengorganisian dan aplikasi kebijakan  sekolah ramah anak.THE DIFFUSION OF CHILD-FRIENDLY SCHOOL POLICY FORMULATION MODELS AT THE EDUCATION UNIT LEVELThis study aimed to reveal the results of the diffusion models and measure the criteria of the models as an innovation. This study is diffusion research, a model for formulating child-friendly school policies at the education unit level. This study used a mixed qualitative-quantitative method. The participants of this study were 10 elementary schools, a total of 53 people. The data were collected through interviews, questionnaires, documents, and focused discussions. The data analysis techniques were descriptive statistics and qualitative analysis. The results show that the model for formulating child-friendly school policies met the good criteria as an innovation since it complied with five innovation criteria, namely relative advantage, compatibility, complexity, trialability, and observability. The results of the diffusion also show that schools adopt an analytical model of education policy as an innovation. This model is effective to be applied in schools to interpret policies from the macro and meso levels into micro policies (Education units). Effectiveness is achieved due to synergistic collaboration between the Three Education Centers (schools, communities, and families) at the policy and program interpretation stage, as well as at the stage of organizing and applying child-friendly school policies.
