Abstract

This research aims to analyze the phenomenon of bullying in elementary school (SD) students, including prevalence, causal factors, impacts, and prevention efforts that can be carried out by schools. Bullying in elementary school age children often occurs in physical, verbal and social forms, with a significant impact on the victim's psychology and academic achievement. Factors that encourage bullying include lack of supervision from parents and teachers, a family environment that is not conducive, and negative influences from peers. The impact of bullying on victims is very diverse, ranging from decreased self-confidence, anxiety, to long-term mental disorders. This research emphasizes the important role of schools in implementing comprehensive anti-bullying programs, educating children about the importance of empathy, and involving parents in preventing and handling bullying. In conclusion, collaboration between schools, families and communities is very necessary to create a safe environment and support the overall development of students.

Abstract

The increasing number of vehicles and limited transportation infrastructure are common problems at Nabire Airport, Central Papua Province. In the current parking area monitoring process, manual methods are still used to determine the number and availability of capacity in the parking area. The research process is carried out in several ways, such as recording the number of vehicles entering and directly observing the condition of the vehicles that are parked. The method of developing a parking slot availability information system using Arduino Uno at Nabire Airport, Central Papua Province, will follow an adaptive and responsive software development approach. The system development method used is the incremental model. This model was chosen because it allows for gradual system development, allowing for the addition of features iteratively based on user needs and feedback in the Purpose of Designing a Prototype of a Parking Slot Availability Information System Reducing Waiting Time Minimizing in Improving User Experience to Provide comfort and satisfaction to users by simplifying the Nabire Airport parking process 1.Optimizing Parking Slot Usage: Helping in better parking slot management.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the development of the education curriculum in Indonesia comprehensively, examine the factors that influence curriculum changes, as well as the challenges and opportunities in its implementation at various levels of education. The method used is qualitative with a literature study approach, namely through the analysis of official documents and related academic literature. The results of the study show that the curriculum in Indonesia has undergone significant changes since the era of independence, starting from the 1947 Curriculum to the 2022 Merdeka Curriculum, which reflects the response to social, political, economic dynamics, and global demands. These changes lead to efforts to improve the quality of education with an emphasis on character development, creativity, and 21st century competencies. However, the implementation of the curriculum still faces obstacles such as inequality between regions, limited resources, and the readiness of educators to adjust learning methods. This study also makes an important contribution to the development of educational science by offering an in-depth understanding of the evolution of an adaptive and visionary curriculum, as a basis for effective policy-making to produce superior and characterful generations.

Abstract

The Effectiveness of the Project-Based Learning (PJBL) Learning Model to Improve Students' Socialization Ability. Problems that arise in the field show that the attitude of cooperation between students is still relatively low. They are more likely to prioritize their own egos, not want to accept suggestions from friends, dominate the group, and be passive when doing group assignments. This situation indicates a lack of social skills that needs to be corrected. Therefore, this research aims to explore the effectiveness of the Project-Based Learning (PJBL) learning model in improving students' social skills. PJBL is believed to be able to encourage cooperation, communication and collaboration among students because it focuses on projects that require active interaction and involvement of all group members. The method used in this research is a literature study, where data is collected from various relevant sources, including scientific articles and previous research. Based on the results of the literature review, it is hoped that the PJBL learning model can be an effective solution to overcome the problem of low social skills among students. With proper implementation, PJBL can help create a more inclusive learning environment and support the holistic development of students' social skills.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of the implementation of the scientific approach and the Discovery Learning model in learning Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) at the elementary school level, with a focus on developing students' critical and creative thinking skills. This study was conducted using a literature review method, in which various sources of literature, such as scientific journals, textbooks, and relevant research articles were analyzed in depth. The results of the literature review indicate that the scientific approach, which involves the stages of observing, formulating questions, experiments, analysis, and conclusions, is effective in increasing student engagement in the learning process, and is able to develop critical thinking skills. Meanwhile, the Discovery Learning model that encourages students to find knowledge independently through exploration and direct experience, has been shown to increase students' creativity and their ability to solve problems innovatively. This literature review also revealed that both approaches provide a more meaningful and relevant learning experience, and support the development of 21st century skills, such as critical, creative, collaborative, and communicative thinking. Thus, the implementation of the scientific approach and Discovery Learning in elementary schools is recommended as an effective strategy in optimizing students' intellectual and creative potential.

Abstract

Social Studies (IPS) learning in primary and secondary education has a strategic role in shaping the character and social awareness of students. IPS does not only convey theoretical knowledge about social phenomena, but also functions to shape students' sensitivity, critical attitudes, and behavior in dealing with social problems that they encounter every day. By learning IPS, students are invited to understand important values, such as humanity, social justice, and responsibility towards the environment. This study uses a literature review method by utilizing data obtained entirely from various written sources, such as books, research journals, previous research reports, and other literature relevant to the research topic. The focus of this study is to understand the Role of IPS Learning in Building Students' Social Awareness. Social Studies (IPS) learning in primary and secondary education has a strategic role in shaping students' character and building high social awareness. Through an interactive, contextual, and integrative approach, IPS learning not only aims to convey theoretical knowledge, but also develops students' abilities to understand, analyze, and contribute to solving social problems around them. By linking social studies learning topics to the immediate environment, students are invited to recognize social problems around them and find relevant solutions. For example, in discussing environmental issues such as waste management or deforestation, students can be invited to conduct observations or community-based projects in their environment. Social Studies (IPS) learning has an important role in shaping students' social awareness. Through various learning materials and activities, IPS helps students understand the relationship between individuals, society, and the environment. With a relevant and contextual approach, students are invited to recognize social problems, understand diversity, and develop empathy and responsibility towards their community. This learning not only builds social insight, but also instills values of togetherness and tolerance that support the creation of a harmonious community life.
