Abstract

We-based e-Learning System can be used to support lecture’s activity. Lecturer as a teacher need a servise of the Sistim which suitable for their activities. Lecturer’s activities consist of delivering materials, discussion and interaction with their students. Because of that the aplication design is needed to support the activities of lectures.             Designing the web based e-Learning System is intended to give a service on the lecture. Lecture can do their teaching activities, delivering the materials and administering it using this e-Learning aplication. From the student side, they have to receive the materials easily from anywhere at anytime. This research have an objective to design a web based e_learning System which give an adequate service supporting the lecturer’s activities. Lecture can use this aplication ti deliver their materials, communicating and interacting with their student, observing the progress of students and give result of learning evaluation from the web.             The design and implementation of this e-learning application is based on the requirement of the users. The users consist of lecturer, student, quest, and administrator. The process of aplication design is built within Sistimatical stages. After finishing the design process, the aplication is implemented on the real Sistim. Doing the design testing and functional is to test if the aplication can go well together with design and funtionality.e-Learnign aplication that has been built is designed based on lecturer’s need when doing their lecture’s activities. This e-Learning aplication can be used as contribution for building new aplication or5 improving others that has already exist.

Abstract

The pupose of this research is to observe the effect of water cement factors to the toughness of concrete :“How is the effect of water cement factors to the toughness of concrete?” Laboratory testing is done for concrete base material, that is aggregate: Rough (pebble), fine aggregate (sand), cement (PC= Portland Cement), water. The test object is in the form of a cylinder with mix design that have variation at water cement factors (cement water factors 0,35, cement water factors 0,40, and cement water factors 0,45) for 10 pieces, which is soaked for 26 days. On the 28th day, the object will be tested press.Based on analysis and discussion, then obtained that (1) From the mixed composistion based on Water Cement Factors, it is seen that the mixture using the lowest water cement factors, Cement Water Factors 0.35 will give a stronger press value and larger elastic modulus, 23,36 MPa at Cement Water Factors 0.40 (11,34%) and increased to 26,68 Mpa at Cement Water Factors 0.35 (27,17%). (2) Compared to the lowest Cement Water Factors, Cement Water Factors 0.35 will give a higher Work of Fracture ( Gf ). This is shown from Work of Fracture ( Gf ) to Cement Water Factors 0.45 = 31,445 N/m, increased to 34,582 N/m at Cement Water Factors 0.40 (9,025%) and increased to 35,582 N/m at Cement Water Factors 0.35 (13,156%). (3). Quantitatively the hardness, the bigger value of power achieved will show the bigger concrete ductile. This is shown from Stress Intensity Factor (K) to Cement Water Factors 0.45 = 0,8267 N/m, incresed to 0,8664 N/m at Cement Water Factors 0.40 (4,80%) and increased to 0,9088 N/m at Cement Water Factors 0.35 (9,93%).

Abstract

Current water use practice in Tampo Irrigation District is thought as inefficient, since water from main canal is drained to neighboring stream without further use by downstream farms. The remaining paddy farm receives less water from the same source canal. As the result the farms could only harvest once per year. A new irrigation scheme is proposed by diverting water back to the main canal to be used by farms downstream the canal. The proposed method is by using DEM and GIS information, coupled with computation of current water use of the existing farms.The study is begun by identifying the existing farms in topography, irrigation networks, and water use. We use 30 m DEM by ASTER GDEM, coupled with Google Earth to identify stream networks and to delineate basin. The results are confirmed with field measurement in which elevation of structures such as weir, gates, hubs are recorded using GPS. Pertinent points in the field are also recorded by GPS. The existing farms are delineated and marked. Water flow rate are measured in the field using traditional method.We found that the existing water use is insufficient to irrigate the irrigation district. Instead of improving efficiency of the irrigation scheme, water needs additional supply by various means.Otherwise crops cannot be increased more than once a year. We identified another potential water source near the irrigation network that can be directly connected to the existing network. This could irrigate another 100 hectares land.

Abstract

The change in channel dimension has a great effect on the flow hydraulic parameters. Likewise, the angle and radius of the bend are not the same will also affect the concentration of suspended sediment flow. To determine the effect of angle and radius of the bend, the measurement of susupended sediment concentration was done at 4 (four) location in Mataram irrigation channel curve. The four locations describe 2 channels having relatively the same angle but having different radius, and 2 (two) channels having the same relative radius but having different angles. Measurement of suspended sediment concentration in tranversal direction is done some depth point used by opcon probe. The results of the research for different angle of bend shows that from the interance to the end of the channel bend so the trend of suspended sediment concentration value are decreases. After the end of the channel bend started there is no more the angle influenced, the trend value of suspended sediment concentration are constant. As for the different radius, the value of suspended sediment concentration is still relatively the same and there is no change significantly. This shows that the relation or influence between the length of the radius of the bend with the value of the suspended sediment concentration is not visible

Abstract

This study aims to develop a prototype system of control and monitoring of temperature, humidity and light automatic room with fuzzy logic-based Arduino Uno Rev. 3. The prototype built will be able to perform the function of monitoring the temperature of the room, light and moisture. This function can be accessed through the web pages and the internet, simultaneously displayed on the outdoor walls of the data center with 20x2 LCD size.

Abstract

Temperature set of the coffee bean roasting to get the roasting temperature of arabica using thermocouple temperature cencor. Temperature monitoring is controlled by microcontroller. The suitable temperature set of roasting process determine the temperature of three conditions, they are light roast, medium roast, and dark roast. Roasting temperature set of the coffee bean have a goal to get the best quality of coffee bean.

Abstract

The development of the telecommunication the rapidly and the increased the need for information , trigger the increasing number of system project communication and discharging radio frequency .This needs to a design and planning ripe to make the existing system can work optimal without any disturbance of discharging frequency two closely ( interference ) .At the end of this task using software aplication pathloss 5.0 to do design as well as performing calculations link budged in observance of some other factors such as the position of site, the height of the contours of, the condition of propagation , and device used .The end of this duty also using visual basic 2010 to assist in performing calculations link budged.In the design uses the topology of ring from the area of the Padang city was used in 6 ( six ) link , first bypass to tabing at a distance of link 3,59 km , tabing to minang plaza at a distance of link 1,87 km , minang plaza to hotel pangeran at a distance of link 2,48 km , hotel pangeran to simpang anduriang at a distance link 4,05 km , simpang anduriang tobalai baru at a distance of link 2,31 km and balai baru to bypass at a distance 3,75 km.

Abstract

The problems that often arise in inpatients, especially those that need special handling such as infusion fluids should be given is often the occurrence of negligence in the infusion bottle examination is good condition of fluids in infusion bottles and the number of droplets per minute that is not appropriate. In addition, the patient will also be disrupted when the nurse should take care of the patient's blood pressure periodically. To overcome these problems need to be made a system that can monitor all of it in real time.This system design process requires a hardware and software that is integrated in such a way that it can be used to monitor the infusion and blood pressure of the patient. The main hardware required is the infrared sensor and the pressure sensor where the sensor will be controlled by the microcontroller device which the results can be sent to the monitoring computer wirelessly.           From the overall testing of the design that has been made, it can generally be applied but there are still shortcomings that occur in measuring instruments, especially blood pressure gauges where the average error occurred in the measurement of systolic pressure of 8.42% and the average error that Occurs in diastolic measurements of 4.90% and on data delivery there is a significant delay spike when given a barrier.
