Abstract

The aim of this article is to review and analyze the factors that cause narcotics crime among teenagers through a criminological approach. Furthermore, the article underscores the necessity for preventive measures in combating substance abuse among adolescents. The present article employs qualitative data analysis, deriving its data from a comprehensive review of extant literature. The results of the study demonstrate that adolescence constitutes a vulnerable period with regard to the circulation and abuse of narcotics. Adolescents frequently find themselves susceptible to exploitation due to their innate curiosity and the absence of a fully developed understanding of their actions. This phenomenon places the Indonesian nation in a critical state, as adolescents are the foundation of the nation's future. A comprehensive strategy is imperative to address the plight of adolescents grappling with substance use disorders, encompassing both those who use drugs and those who engage in the illicit transportation of such substances.

Abstract

This study examines the failure of international law in resolving international disputes caused by weak enforcement mechanisms, political dominance of powerful states, and ineffective sanction systems within international organizations. In principle, international law aims to maintain global order and provide peaceful dispute settlement mechanisms. However, in practice, its effectiveness is often undermined by national interests and political considerations of states. Additionally, limitations in the jurisdiction of international courts and the non-compliance of states with international rulings further weaken the effectiveness of international law. This research employs a literature study approach by analyzing relevant academic sources. The findings indicate that the effectiveness of international law largely depends on the political commitment of states and the strengthening of global enforcement mechanisms.

Abstract

The Big Data era has shifted the paradigm of Digital Public Relations (PR) from mass distribution patterns to personalized communication. This descriptive qualitative study aims to analyze the mechanism of large-scale data processing into relevant and ethical narratives for Generation Z. Data collection was conducted through in-depth interviews with four Digital PR practitioners and ten representatives of Generation Z in Purwokerto, and strengthened by netnographic observations on TikTok, Instagram, and X platforms. The results of the study indicate that data-based message personalization is very effective in mitigating skepticism among young audiences while optimizing their emotional attachment (engagement). However, this effectiveness requires aspects of transparency, accountability, and adaptability to contemporary data privacy regulations. This study concludes that an adaptive Data-Driven Digital PR model must be able to align analytical algorithm calculations with the communicator's empathetic sensitivity. The implications of this research emphasize the importance of placing data privacy protection as a core value for constructing sustainable audience loyalty.
