Abstract

This study was motivated by the risk of overselling and inventory data inaccuracies at Bengawan Komputer due to manual stock recording using Microsoft Excel across physical stores and Shopee. This study aims to design and develop a Laravel-based E-catalog website integrated with the Shopee Open Platform API to implement automatic and real-time stock management synchronization as a centralized inventory system based on the Single Source of Truth concept. Research data were collected through literature review, observation, interviews, and questionnaires, while system development employed the Waterfall model with UML as the modeling tool. The resulting website provides Dashboard, Product Management, Shopee integration, sales reports, Inbox, and Settings features. Black Box Testing showed that all eight main functions operated successfully, achieving a 100% success rate. Evaluation using the System Usability Scale (SUS) involving 30 respondents produced a score of 75.58, classified as Grade B and Acceptable. The API integration enables product, stock, and Shopee transaction data to be managed within a single system, supporting more efficient operational monitoring. The developed system supports more integrated multichannel inventory management and reduces the risk of stock discrepancies.

Abstract

CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) powertrain efficiency generally ranges from 50% to 80%, creating opportunities to improve power transfer through optimization of the primary pulley geometry. This study investigates the effect of Drive Pulley inclination angle variations on the torque and power characteristics of a Mio Z 125 CC motorcycle across different engine speeds. A quantitative experimental method was employed using four Drive Pulley configurations: 14° (standard), 13.6°, 13°, and 12.5°. The 14° configuration produced a maximum torque of 11.73 Nm at 3,878 RPM and power of 7.36 HP at 7,292 RPM. The 13.6° configuration generated 13.24 Nm at 3,387 RPM and 7.79 HP at 6,848 RPM, while the 13° configuration produced 13.56 Nm at 3,350 RPM and 7.81 HP at 6,250 RPM. The 12.5° configuration achieved the highest torque and power, reaching 15.99 Nm at 3,250 RPM and 7.91 HP at 3,906 RPM. The increased performance is associated with earlier V-Belt engagement and faster expansion of the effective primary pulley diameter. These findings indicate that reducing the Drive Pulley inclination angle can strengthen low-speed torque and modify the power delivery characteristics of the CVT system.

Abstract

The service managed by Institution X in West Java Province is a public service that requires continuous improvement in service quality, including the identification of priority aspects that need to be improved. Previous issues included long waiting times, limited system access, technical disruptions, and insufficient staff responsiveness, indicating the need for continuous quality improvement. This study aimed to provide recommendations for service quality improvement based on the results of Gap 5 analysis, which measures the difference between user perceptions and expectations. The study employed a quantitative approach using five SERVQUAL dimensions: tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy. Data were collected through a questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability and was completed by 255 service users. The results showed an average Gap 5 score of 0.012, indicating that overall service performance had met user expectations, although this achievement was not consistent across all attributes. Improvement priorities were determined based on attributes with negative gap scores, namely computer equipment and system performance (-0.008) and waiting time (-0.004). These two attributes had not yet met user expectations due to the limited number of computers and staff, delayed device response, and network connection constraints. Further improvement should be undertaken by management through an analysis of the gap between management perceptions of user expectations and the actual expectations of users regarding these two attributes.

Abstract

The library of SD Negeri 074 Ayudia Bandung faces limitations in spatial organization, circulation, reading facilities, and manual collection management. This study aims to propose an improved library layout and develop a digital dashboard to enhance spatial efficiency, service quality, and accessibility of library information. The research employed direct field observation and an integrated engineering approach based on the IISE Body of Knowledge, particularly System Design and Engineering, Information Engineering, Facilities Engineering and Energy Management, and Engineering Economic Analysis. Activity Relationship Chart (ARC) and Activity Relationship Diagram (ARD) were applied to determine functional relationships and develop the proposed layout, while dashboard development addressed administrative and student information needs. The results produced four functional zones: bookshelf area, main reading corner, admin desk, and creativity corner, supported by a systematic shelf coding system. The admin dashboard records 203 books, 162 available books, 41 borrowed books, and 13 active shelves. The student dashboard facilitates book searches by category, title, author, and shelf location. The estimated supporting investment is IDR 6,110,000. The proposed integration is expected to improve library efficiency, user comfort, service quality, and student literacy.

Abstract

Serundeng production in small and medium enterprises still faces limitations in the oil-draining stage because conventional methods require long processing times and may affect product quality. This study aims to design an electric-motor-powered serundeng draining machine to improve production efficiency while maintaining product quality and operator usability. The research employed a product design and development approach supported by literature research, field observation, interviews, documentation, and anthropometric analysis. Anthropometric data were collected from 30 adults and evaluated through adequacy, uniformity, and percentile analyses. The design considered production efficiency, product quality, hygiene, reliability, safety, ergonomics, and economic feasibility. The resulting machine consists of an electric motor, frame, stainless-steel container, sieve, drive shaft, bearing, discharge channel, and control panel. Selected anthropometric dimensions included a 66 cm forward hand reach, 77 cm lateral hand reach, 96 cm standing navel height, 3 cm index-finger width, and 7 cm grip width. The final design has dimensions of 80 × 66 × 96 cm and a capacity of 2 kg. The proposed machine provides a practical technological alternative for improving serundeng production efficiency and process consistency in small-scale food enterprises.
