Abstract

This paper aims to see how the government's policies in preventing and dealing with the growth of positive cases of Covid-19 in Indonesia. The method used is a qualitative method, with the focus of the study on government policies related to handling Covid-19, both at the beginning of the spread in 2020 until the case of the spread of Covid-19 in 2022. The results of the study show that government policies to prevent the spread of transmission of the Covid-19 virus in Indonesia, continues to experience changes. Until 2022, there are 4 additional government policies in handling Covid-19 cases in Indonesia.

Abstract

Women's participation in development planning and budgeting in the Development Planning Consultation (Musrenbang) is still a challenge to date. In response to this, the Trenggalek Regency Government has issued a policy in the form of Regent Regulation Number 01 of 2019 which guides the implementation of deliberations on women, children, disabilities and other vulnerable families. Or abbreviated as Musrena Keren. This public policy publication provides opportunities for the full participation of women and vulnerable families in gender mainstreaming (PUG) and gender-responsive budgeting (ARG) from the lowest level, namely at the village level. This research aims to comprehensively detail the innovation of Musrena Keren in Trenggalek District. Using a qualitative approach, data for this study was collected from focus group discussions (FGDs), in-depth interviews and desk review (documentary review). The results of this research are: 1. Increased motivation and awareness of women at the village and district levels in participating in gender-responsive budgeting and development planning. 2. Musrena Keren is based on the principles of equality, gender-equitable budgeting, dialogue, fighting domination, siding with vulnerable groups, non-discrimination and inclusive development.

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the UU TPKS from the perspective of Islamic law and a psychological approach also public policy. This research is library research by using data collection tools from articles, journals, books that was contained in Google Scholar. The data analysis technique uses a content analysis approach in the UU TPKS. The findings of this study suggest that a leader has a duty to guard his followers' souls, minds, dignity, and worth in Islam. According to QS. Ar-Rum (30):21, Islam condemns the use of force in the display of love and affection for women. Islam forbids violence against women. A leader must develop a rule to prevent sexual assault on women and advance moral values as a means of holding his people accountable. This rule must be followed and put into action by all members of society, as stated in (QS. An-Nisa, (04): 59. In addition to taking a religiously based approach, leaders are heavily influenced by modern science, such as psychology, when formulating policies for the welfare of their people, particularly women.

Abstract

Unemployment is a problem that is quite difficult and complicated to handle. The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic has made the government work extra in overcoming the worsening unemployment problem. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the implementation of the pre-employment card program carried out by the government in overcoming unemployment during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study uses a literature review approach by taking references and reference materials from various sources relevant to the topics discussed. The results showed that the pre-employment card program was considered quite effective in its implementation. Government consistency is needed in handling during the pandemic and even the post-pandemic period until the economic condition really recovers as usual.

Abstract

The need for water for living things as life support is absolute, but in the last few decades, the existence of water as a resource has reached an alarming critical point. The community has local wisdom and local knowledge that has been well-proven in protecting and conserving nature. Local wisdom owned by the community can be applied in a sustainable water management system. The purpose of this scientific writing is to examine the forms of local wisdom in water management and to examine the relationship between local wisdom and sustainable water management, by emphasizing the sustainability aspects, namely, ecology, economy, and social. The method used in this scientific work is literature study. Local wisdom is in the form of knowledge, belief, understanding, and insight as well as customs that guide human behavior in life-related to the conditions of the region and indigenous communities. Local wisdom plays a role in efforts to maintain the three functions, namely ecological, social and economic aspects, to create harmony and balance that promises stability and sustainability of water management.

Abstract

Natural and Social Sciences Education (IPAS) plays a crucial role in the curriculum of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Kecamatan tenayan Raya Kota Pekanbaru by providing a comprehensive understanding of natural, social, and gender equality aspects. This study aims to analyze the impact of IPAS policies on gender equality at the primary education level through a qualitative approach with in-depth interview techniques, direct observation, and document analysis related to IPAS policies, textbooks, and the implementation of classroom learning. The results showed that 72% of students began to understand the concept of gender equality after participating in IPAS learning, while 65% of teachers have implemented more gender-inclusive teaching methods. However, it is still found that 60% of teaching materials contain gender bias, and 70% of teachers have not received formal training on gender perspectives. Cultural and social factors are also a significant challenge, with 64% of students coming from environments that still maintain traditional gender norms. Therefore, this study recommends the need for intensive training for teachers, revision of the IPAS curriculum to be more gender-inclusive, and support from parents and the community to create a more equal learning environment. With these efforts, the IPAS policy is expected to be more effective in instilling gender equality values from an early age in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah

Abstract

This research aims to examine the implementation of the Guided Reading Method supported by the Story Calendar Media to improve students' reading comprehension skills in Indonesian Language lessons for third-grade students at MI Muhammadiyah 02 Pekanbaru. The study is designed as a Classroom Action Research (CAR) with a qualitative and quantitative approach, conducted in two cycles to assess the effectiveness of the intervention. The subjects of the study were 30 third-grade students, consisting of 15 boys and 15 girls. Data were collected through tests, observations, interviews, and documentation. The test results showed a significant improvement in students' reading comprehension. In the first cycle, the average comprehension score was 75%, with 50% of students achieving scores above 75%. After improvements were made in the second cycle, the average score increased to 90%, with 83% of students achieving scores above 80%. The results from the observations and interviews indicated that the use of the Story Calendar Media helped students visualize the storyline and facilitated better understanding of the reading material. The Guided Reading method encouraged active participation and increased students' engagement in the learning process, especially in group discussions. In conclusion, the implementation of the Guided Reading Method with Story Calendar Media has been effective in improving students' reading comprehension skills in Indonesian Language lessons. It is recommended that teachers continue to incorporate various media to enhance students' engagement and understanding, particularly in early education settings

Abstract

This study examines the role of Fiqh teachers in guiding students in prayer practice at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. As a mandatory worship for every Muslim, prayer needs to be taught from an early age so that it becomes part of daily habits. Fiqh teachers have the main responsibility in conveying theoretical understanding and guiding students in prayer practice. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach, where data is obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that 85% of Fiqh teachers have conveyed the theory of prayer well, while 70% of teachers are actively guiding students in hands-on practice. Evaluation of the implementation of prayer is carried out by 75% of teachers, but only 60% of students are able to carry out prayer movements correctly without errors. Some of the obstacles faced in prayer learning include lack of student attention (40%), limited learning time (65%), and lack of supporting facilities (55%). To overcome these obstacles, teachers apply various strategies such as demonstration methods, congregational prayer habits, and the use of interactive learning media. With the right strategy, the effectiveness of prayer learning can increase and have a positive influence on the spiritual development and character of students

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between authoritative parenting patterns and prosocial behavior in adolescents. Authoritative parenting patterns are characterized by a combination of high demands and high responsiveness, which are believed to be able to form positive social characters. The sample in this study was 100 adolescents with an age range of 13–18 years who were selected using purposive sampling techniques. The method used in this study is a quantitative research method with measuring instruments in the form of an authoritative parenting pattern scale and a prosocial behavior scale. The results of the analysis showed a significant positive relationship between authoritative parenting patterns and adolescent prosocial behavior (r = 0.58, p <0.01). The results of this study indicate that the better the level of authoritative parenting patterns applied by the mother, the better the tendency of prosocial behavior in adolescents

Abstract

This article aims to determine the effect of verbal violence on the self-confidence and self-image of couples. The data analysis technique uses simple linear. Based on the results of the Simple Linear analysis test, it shows that there is a significant influence between Verbal Violence (X) on Self-Confidence (Y1) with a regression coefficient value of 0.955, there is a significant influence between Verbal Violence (X) on Self-Image (Y2) with a regression coefficient value of 1.241. The trust and confidence of couples decreases along with the level of verbal violence. Lack of self-confidence caused by verbal violence from a partner gives rise to self-doubt. Those who engage in verbal abuse often distort facts to make the victim doubt their memories, perceptions, and even their own sanity. Individuals who frequently experience verbal violence will also try to avoid their anger or criticism from their partners, and victims will learn to remain silent. He will suppress his own desires, opinions and feelings. The victim will lose their voice and identity as a result. It is possible that negative self-image is internalized as part of self-confidence. The victim will have a bad body image or self-image if the partner continues to emphasize their physical, intellectual or character deficiencies. Mental health problems such as anxiety and prolonged stress can be caused by verbal violence. This can also cause victims to lose their self-identity or develop a negative self-identity
