Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the pesantren education system and its contribution to enhancing the motivation and academic achievement of female students at Pesantren Putri Miftahul Mubtadiin Ar-Ridlo. This research employed a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The informants consisted of the pesantren caregivers, female teachers, and selected female students through purposive sampling. The findings indicate that the integrated educational system—combining formal education, religious instruction, and character development—creates a conducive, disciplined, and religious learning environment. These factors significantly contribute to increasing students' intrinsic motivation and positively impact both academic and non-academic achievements. The study concludes that the consistent and well-directed implementation of the pesantren education system can serve as a strategic instrument in shaping students’ learning spirit and holistic achievement.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the business feasibility of rural Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Nganjuk Regency amidst the pressure of increasingly rapid industrial growth. The growth of the industrial sector provides economic opportunities, but also poses challenges for rural MSMEs, such as business competition, limited capital, and changes in market patterns. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach to several rural MSMEs in Nganjuk Regency. Data collection techniques were carried out through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out descriptively and analytically by assessing aspects of business feasibility including market, technical, management, and financial aspects in a non-numerical manner. The results of the study indicate that rural MSMEs in Nganjuk Regency are generally still feasible to operate, but require strengthening marketing strategies, increasing human resource capacity, and government policy support to be able to survive and compete with large-scale industries.

Abstract

Ekspansi industri di Kabupaten Nganjuk membawa perubahan pada struktur perekonomian daerah dan memengaruhi keberlangsungan UMKM berbasis rumah tangga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kelayakan bisnis UMKM berbasis rumah tangga serta dampak ekspansi industri terhadap keberlanjutan usaha. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa UMKM berbasis rumah tangga di Kabupaten Nganjuk secara umum masih layak untuk dijalankan, terutama dari aspek pasar dan operasional yang ditunjukkan oleh adanya konsumen tetap, fleksibilitas produksi, dan biaya operasional yang rendah. Namun, kelemahan masih ditemukan pada aspek manajemen dan keuangan, khususnya pencatatan keuangan yang belum terstruktur. Ekspansi industri memberikan peluang pasar sekaligus meningkatkan persaingan, sehingga diperlukan penguatan kapasitas manajerial dan dukungan kebijakan untuk menjaga keberlanjutan UMKM.
