Abstract

The Influence of Transformational Leadership, the Organizational Culture and the Competence on the Job Satisfaction of Teacher of Mantrijeron Kindergaten (TK)2012/2013 Years. Thesis, the Post Graduate Program of Sarjana Wiyata Taman Siswa University of Yogyakarta.The purposes of this study were the impact of (1) The influence of variables transformational leadership, organizational culture and competence of teachers on the job satisfaction of teachers, (2) the influence of transformational leadership on job satisfaction of teachers, (3) the influence of organizational culture on the job satisfaction of teachers, and (4) the influence of teacher competence on the job satisfaction of teachers.The variable in this study were transformational leadership, organizational culture and teacher competence and job satisfaction. The population in this study was kindergarten teachers at all-district of Mantrijeron Yogyakarta totaling 75 people. Sampling in this study using total sample. The data collection technique using questionnaires. The analysis tool used was multiple linear regression and Partial Corulation.

Abstract

Departemen Pendidikan Nasional (Depdiknas) dan Departemen Agama (Depag) telah menunjukkan komitmen untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di sekolah-sekolah di Indonesia melalui Sistem Penjaminan Mutu Pendidikan (SPMP). SPMP mendefinisikan penjaminan mutu sebagai „serangkaian proses dan sistem yang saling terkait untuk mengumpulkan, menganalisa dan melaporkan data kinerja pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan, program dan lembaga. Proses penjaminan mutu mengidentifikasi pencapaian kinerja dan prioritas untuk perbaikan, menyediakan data untuk pembuatan keputusan berbasis bukti dan membantu membangun budaya perbaikan yang berkelanjutan. Pencapaian mutu pendidikan berdasarkan SPMP dikaji berdasarkan Standar Nasional Pendidikan (SNP). Model ini mengetengahkan pengkajian mutu dan metode analisa data.Sebagai komponen yang vital dalam SPMP,EDS (Evaluasi Diri Sekolah ) dipandang sebagai dasar bagi penyusunan rencana pengembangan sekolah untuk peningkatan mutu dan sebagai penyedia informasi penting dalam sistem manajemen data. Karena itulah EDS menjadi bagian yang memberikan tanggung jawab kepada para pemangku kepentingan untuk mengevaluasi kemajuan sekolah mereka sendiri dan mendorong sekolah untuk menetapkan prioritas kebutuhan perbaikan. Walaupun ini merupakan pendekatam berbasis sekolah, tetapi proses ini juga mengisyaratkan adanya keterlibatan dan dukungan dari orang-orang yang bekerja dalam berbagai tingkatan, dan hal ini tentu saja membantu terjaminnya transparansi dan validasi proses.

Abstract

The Influence of Emotional Intelligence, Motivation and Leadership on Job Satisfaction of the Kindergarten Teachers in Mantrijeron Subdistrict Thesis. Educational Administration Program, Postgraduate of Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa University, Yogyakarta 2013.The study aims to: (1) determine the influence of emotional intelligence on job satisfaction of the kindergarten teacher in Mantrijeron District, (2) determine the influence of motivation on job satisfaction of the kindergarten teacher in Mantrijeron District, (3) determine the influence of leadership on job satisfaction of the kindergarten teacher in Mantrijeron District, and (4) determine the influence of emotional intelligence, motivation and leadership on job satisfaction of the kindergarten teacher in Mantrijeron District.This study is quantitative study. The population in this study was all kindergarten teachers in Mantrijeron District of Yogyakarta with totaling 75 people. The sampling in this study using census technique or the total sample. The technique collection of data using a questionnaire which includes emotional intelligence, motivation, leadership and job satisfaction. The data analysis technique used was multiple linear regression analysis to determine the effect of independent variables simultaneously on the dependent variable. Testing requirements include normality, linearity and multicollinearity. The test results for normality with the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test showed that all variables were normally distributed. The results of linearity test with F test showed that the correlation of independent variables and the dependent variable was expressed linearly. The result of multicollinearity test with VIF showed was no symptoms multicollinearity between independent variables.The result showed the following results: (1) There is the influence of emotional intelligence on job satisfaction of the kindergarten teacher in Mantrijeron District by 12.1%, (2) There is the influence of motivation on job satisfaction of the kindergarten teacher in Mantrijeron District by 12.7% (3) There is the influence of leadership on job satisfaction of the kindergarten teacher in Mantrijeron District by 9.8%, and (4) There is the influence of emotional intelligence, motivation and leadership on job satisfaction of the kindergarten teacher in Mantrijeron District by 34.6%.

Abstract

The Management of School Operational Assistance (BOS) and Regional School Operational Assistance (BOSDA) Fund was a part of school management system which had a purpose to create accountable and reliable expenditure. Schools was responsibled to manage the expenditure as effect of the regulation of school based management.This research was done at State Junior High School 11 Yogyakarta, the research subjects were : headmaster, vice of headmaster, school treasurer, teacher, employee, school committee, students, and students parents. Data collection was done by observation, interview, and documentation methods. Data analysis was done by qualitative descriptive method measuring the facts, characteristics, and relationships among observed phenomenons. The steps were data reduction, data display, and making conclusions. The research outcome shows that, the management of BOS and BOSDA fund is done through arrangement series of : (1) budgeting involves planning fund resource management, setting program priority, estimating fund sufficiency, and compiling School Budgeting Planning, (2) accounting involves accepting, withdrawing, and expending fund, expenditure after-tax, and administration, and (3) auditing involves monitoring and supervision, controlling, inspecting, and punishment. Factors supporting the management of BOS and BOSDA fund are : participative School Budgeting Planning, credible BOS management team at the school level, continual controlling by headmaster, and the absence of deviation. Factors Obstructing the management of BOS and BOSDA fund are: school component do not understand the use of fund and its prohibition, late fund liquidation, unpredictable spending, increase in goods or service price, and inspection without information. The goverment is advised to make more effective socialization ofBOS and BOSDA program, and be flexible to apply the regulation so that the school will be more creative in developing program.

Abstract

Government to prioritize education is reflected in the character of the National Long- Term Development Plan 2005-2025 year, in response to the condition of the country in crisis multidimensional. Implementation on the ground is different from each agency and level of education, according to the Education Unit Level Curriculum and can be expanded according to the vision mission of the school. SIT (SMP IT Abu Bakar Yogyakartak) is a junior secondary school background in Islam since its inception more emphasis on the cultivation of values (character).While there are some people negative impression about Islam integrated schools such as the absence of the ceremony, do not want to respect the flag, etc.This research aims to describe the : 1) planning, 2) organization, 3) implementation, 4) monitoring and evaluation, 5) barriers and solutions to the implementation of character education programs in SMP IT Abu Bakar Yogyakarta. This research used a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis method case study design. Data was collected by: 1) interviews, 2) observation, 3) study the document. The data source consisted of the principal, vice-principal, part coordinator, counseling teacher, homeroom teachers, subject teachers, staff, employees and related documents. Data was analyzed by data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. Checking the validity of the data was by triangulation.The results of the implementation of the integration of character education in SMP IT Abu Bakar Yogyakarta are : 1) planning on character education program conducted at the beginning of the school year and the beginning of the semester through the meeting with reference to the vision and mission of the school, 2) organizing programs vertical and horizontal through the highest office holder down with the person in charge at each field of activity, 3) implementation the programs through the stages of a) socialization to the academic community (teachers and staff), parents, students and the community through the mechanism of POMG, b) integrated in the process of learning, c) integrated in student activities, and through integrated school management, 4) monitoring and evaluation is scheduled and conducted periodically. Barriers and its solution are associated with the implementation of the integration of character education such as: a) the resistance of parents, teachers, and the community, b) the resistance of students, and c) the barries of the implementation.

Abstract

Teknologi pembelajaran adalah teori dan praktik dalam desain, pengembangan, pemanfaatan, pengelolaan dan penilaian proses dan sumber untuk belajar. Tidak dapat dielakkan lagi bahwa perkembangan kemajuan teknologi komunikasi dan informasi (TIK) semakin sangat berpengaruh pada setiap kegiatan dari bidang kehidupan, terutama dalam pendidikan. Dalam bidang pendidikan, baik dalam pemanfaatan teknologi maupun desain, pengembangan, pengelolaan sumber dan proses pembelajaran senantiasa terus dilakukan. Hal ini senantiasa dilakukan dalam rangka memberikan kemudahan dan solusi masalah belajar.Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMP Negeri 1 Pakem bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana tingkat efektifitas manajemen laboratorium teknologi informasi dan komunikasi di SMP Negeri 1 Pakem Kabupaten Sleman dalam mendukung proses belajar mengajar berbasis TIK. Penelitian ini merupakan studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui observasi wawancara dan dokumentasi dan dianalisis secara induktif. Sumber data antara lain: Kepala Sekolah, Kepala Sarana Prasarana, Kepala Laboratorium TIK, laboran, guru – guru dan siswa – siswi SMP Negeri 1 Pakem. Pengecekan keabsahan data ditempuh dengan triangulasi, baik triangulasi sumber maupun triangulasi metode.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jumlah guru yang siap dengan bahan ajar berbasis TIK menunjukkan masih kurang. Efektifitas jam pemakaian laboratorium TIK di SMP Negeri 1 Pakem menunjukkan cukup efektif. Efisiensi penggunaan laboratorium TIK di SMP yang sangat penting dalam menunjang keberhasilan pembelajaran. Aktivitas pengelolaan keberlanjutan. Pengelolaan merupakan kegiatan inti seorang pengelola laboratorium TIK yang berkaitan dengan pelaksanaan fungsi laboratorium TIK dalam mendayagunakan sumber daya yang tersedia secara efektif dan efisien.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the management of the gifted class of learning in SMA N 2 Bantul which was conducted by teachers which include: (1) lesson planning, (2) learning organization, (3) the implementation of learning, and (4) assessment of learning. This is qualitative research. SMA N 2 Bantul was choosing as the research site because only this school which hold this program in Bantul. Data collection was conducted by means of observation, interview, and documentation.The result of the research shows that: (1) the planning of student recruitment process was well conducted and based on particular requirements and the planning of learning process was conducted by the school including: the making of learning administration, the planning of learning materials, the planning of teaching methods, the media used is well planning, the planning of evaluation is as the rule, (2) The organization of gifted class including learning materials and teacher organization has been well conducted like the guidance. (3) The implementation of the learning process has achieved the target, (4) The assessment to students learning needs some improvement maximally, not only in tested but also non-tested technique. It need evaluation related to the implementation giftedprogram by asking and giving suggestion from any experts or resources, so, in future, the implementation can be running optimally.

Abstract

The Influence of Communication Effectivity, School Environment, and School Committe on Effort to Education Quality Improvement according to the Teachers Perception of the Special School in Bantul Regency.This research is intended to find out the effectivity influence of communication, school inveronment and school committe involved simultaneously on effort to education quality improvement at Special School, Bantul Regency. To find out the influence of communication efectivity on effort to education quality improvement at the Special School, Bantul Regency. The influence of school environment on effort to education quality improvement at the Special School, Bantul Regency.The influence of the school committe on effort to education quality improvement at the Special School, Bantul Regency. The population of this research were all the teachers of Special School Bantul which totally 292 teachers. The sample was 161 teachers it was taken from Isaac and Michael formula. In collection the data, the researcher used quota proportionate random sampling. The collection of the data of this research used questionnaire. The analysis technique used multiple regression and partial correlation with level significantly is 5 %. The result of the research showed that the effectivity of communication, school environment and school committe have positive influence and significant simultaneously on effort to education quality improvement at the Special School, Bantul Regency.Theeffective contribution effectivity of communication, school environment, and school committe on effort to education quality improvement is 21.3 %, thus the number 78.7% cannot be explained at this research caused by another factor. The effectivity of communication gave relative contribution is 45.31%, school environment gave relative contribution is 33.86% and school committe gave 20.83%.Whereas, the number of effective contribution to each free variable at the bound is 21.3%. The number effectivity of communication variable is 9.7%,the number of school environment variable is 7.2% and the number of school committe is 4.4%.The effectivity of communication had positiveinfluenced and significant on effort to education quality improvement at the Special School, Bantul Regency.The school environment had positive influenced and significant on effort to education quality improvement at the Special School, Bantul Regency. School committe had not influenced significantly on effort to education quality improvement at the Special School, Bantul Regency.

Abstract

Private education is part of a community-based education has a lot of acting to develop education in the country. There are still some things that need to be addressed by the Government, such as human resource development in private schools, proportionality in the allocation of education subsidies, and removing discrimination between private.education public schools with private schools contributed significantly to the intellectual life of the nation's efforts. The Government should have a positive commitment, positive commitment can be realized with a balanced policy between the government and the private land.

Abstract

The Influence of Principal‟s Leadership, the Teachers Competence, and the Organizational School Climate on the Performance of the Senior High School Teacher‟s in Kulon Progo Regency. This study was aims to determine : (1) the influence of the principal‟s leadership, the teachers competence, and the organizational climate school simultanously on the performance of the teachers; (2) the influence of the principal‟s leadership on the performance of the teachers; (3) the influence of the the teachers competence on the performance of the teachers; (4) the influence of the organizational school climate on the performance of the teachers.The study was conducted in Kulon Progo Regency.This research is a quantitative one using survey method. The population of this research was 380 Senior High School teachers in the Kulon Progo Regency. The sample of the research was 177 teachers and was taken by using proportional random sampling technique. The data was collected by using questionnaires. Major hypothesis testing used double regression analysis, and then individual hypothesis testing done by using partial correlation analysis. The data processing used SPSS program 16.0. All effective contribution was taken from theanalysis result of the value of the determination coefficient multiplied by 100% and the effective contribution partially by multiplying the value of the Standardized Beta Coefficients with Zerro-order Corelations value multiplied by 100 % for each independen variable.The results of the research show that the principal‟s leadership, the teachers competence, and the organizational school climate simultanously have very significant and positive influence on the performance of the teachers. Effective contribution all together is 45,70%. Effective contribution individually of: (1) the principal‟s leadership on the performance of the teachers is 11,34%; (2) the teachers competence on the performance of the teachers is 21,83%; (3) the organizational school climate on the performance of the teachers is 12,52%.
