Abstract

Senior High School 10 Kendari is one of the high schools in Kendari that implements online learning during the Covid-19 pandemi. This study aims to: 1) describe the preparations made by Geography teachers in implementing online learning; and 2) describe the implementation of online learning during the Covid-19 pandemi. This type of research is descriptive qualitative with the research subject of Geography teachers at Senior High School 10 Kendari. The results showed that: 1) the preparations made before starting the lesson were preparing learning materials to be taught in the form of powerpoints and learning videos as well as preparing tools such as laptops and headsets; and 2) For the Geography subject, the implementation of online learning during the Covid-19 pandemi at Senior High School 10 Kendari was carried out face-to-face virtually using the Zoom application, starting from preliminary activities, core activities, closing activities to the assessment stage.

Abstract

Meleura Beach is one of the tourist attractions in Muna Regency. This tourist attraction was developed by the government and experienced an increase in visits after that. The presence of tourist objects and the increase in tourist visits also have an impact on the surrounding community, especially for the local economy. The research approach used is descriptive quantitative by using multiplier effect analysis to determine the impact of tourism activities on local communities. The results showed a multiple impact ratio index of 1.3, which means that tourism activities affect the income of the surrounding community in the sector of owners, managers and providers of tourism services. The impact of tourism is known in the form of direct impacts, which are obtained from tourist expenditures and indirect impacts, namely changes in the form of community economic activities from agricultural and fishery activities to the form of providing tourism services.

Abstract

Based on data from the Muna Regency Tourism Office, in 2020 Bungin Pinungan Beach is 1 of the top 5 tourist destinations in Muna Regency. This study aims to identify the potential contained in the Bungin Pinungan Beach tourism object in Lakarama Village, Towea District, Muna Regency. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method with 20 informants. The data in this study were collected through observation, interviews and documentation. The results showed that the potential for Bungin Pinungan Beach tourism objects: 1) the potential for natural panoramas including the beauty of white sand, clear and blue sea water, geomorphological features in the form of hills extending around the mountains, there are many mangroves and coconut trees, and coral reefs; and 2) potential apounturirs include accessibility to Bungin Pinungan Beach which can only be accessed via sea crossing from the Tampo Ferry port with a travel time of 40 minutes and through the pier of Lainea Village with a travel time of ±15 minutes. Furthermore, the available facilities and infrastructure include viewing towers, gazebos, piers, inns, bridges, prayer rooms, public toilets, and parking lots.

Abstract

Planning and managing good and efficient land use are very important because they can indirectly support soil fertility and maintain stable land productivity. The research objectives were to: 1) find out how much rice production was in Andoolo Barat District in 2015-2019; and 2) know the level of productivity of paddy fields in Andoolo Barat District in 2015-2019. This study uses Mixed Methods in analyzing rice production. The results showed that rice production in 2015-2019 increased by 73.08 tons. While the productivity of paddy fields, when viewed from the carrying capacity of agricultural land, also experienced a surplus with a value of α > 1. This shows that the population's demand for rice is classified as optimal and fulfilled.

Abstract

SMA Negeri 8 Kendari is one of the schools in Kendari City with low student learning outcomes. This study aims to describe student learning activities, teacher teaching activities, and student geography learning outcomes that are taught using the Connecting, Organizing, Reflecting, and Extending cooperative learning model. This type of research is Classroom Action Research conducted in two cycles, consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this research were 40 students of IIS 1 grade X of SMA Negeri 8 Kendari. The data in this study was obtained from observation sheets and learning outcomes tests. Based on the results of data analysis, it was found that: 1) in the first cycle the average score of student learning activities was 2,7 which was categorized as sufficiently increased in the second cycle to 3,4 which was categorized as good; 2) in the first cycle the average score of the teaching activities of the teachers was 2,6 which was categorized sufficiently increased in the second cycle to 3,5 which was categorized as good; and 3) an increase in Geography learning outcomes of students of class X IIS 1 of SMA Negeri 2 Kendari from cycle I to cycle II. The first cycle showed 24 students who scored 75 with an average value of 70. Furthermore, the results of the second cycle test showed a significant increase because 34 students scored 75 with an average score of 80.
