Abstract

The resulting system will detect and classify gestures or movements that speak the B language contained in it directly using a holistic mediapipe to detect the skeleton on the hands, body, and face and use a landmark model of poses, faces and each to generate a total of 543 landmarks. (33 pose landmarks, 468 facial landmarks, and 21 hand landmarks).

Abstract

Students' interest in reading at various levels of education has continued to decline in recent years. This decline in reading interest can have a negative impact on students' academic abilities and personal development. Therefore, increasing students' interest in reading is a major challenge in the world of education. To face this challenge, researchers developed a Literacy Information System Using the R&D Method at Gema Pelita Vocational School which aims to increase students' interest in reading through innovative technology-based approaches. The Literacy Information System that was built provides access to various reading materials according to students' reading interests. Apart from that, there is also a literacy event feature which aims to develop students' writing literacy skills. This Literacy Information System also provides a recapitulation of student reading, graphs of student reading literacy progress, and literacy progress statistics to see the literacy progress of each student. With this Literacy Information System, it is hoped that students will be able to increase their interest in reading and be able to develop their creativity through the works they create.

Abstract

Meningkatkan kemampuan pelafalan Al Quran sebagai hal yang sangat penting dalam memahami Al Quran. Kesalahan pelafalan dapat mengubah makna ayat Al Quran, sehingga kemampuan pelafalan yang baik adalah kunci pemahaman yang benar terhadap ajaran islam terutama Al Quran. Melalui implementasi metode speech recognition dalam sebuah aplikasi Al Quran digital, membantu individu dalam melafalkan ayat-ayat Al Quran dengan benar, dan juga menjadi salah satu media pembelajaran yang interaktif. Dalam penelitian ini, penulis mengembangkan data dengan menggunakan algoritma Neural Networks yang mengikuti cara otak manusia melakukan proses dan menyimpan suatu informasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa penggunaan teknologi speech recognition dalam pembelajaran Al Quran dapat membantu meningkatkan kemampuan pelafalan. Dan aplikasi ini dapat menjadi sistem yang membantu, mendukung dan memfasilitasi pembelajaran Al Quran.

Abstract

The rapid development of technology has driven many companies and institutions to use computers to solve various problems. One such application of technology is the decision support system (DSS) for determining students' talents and interests in extracurricular activities. Extracurricular activities are an essential part of the learning process, serving to channel students' talents and interests, as well as fostering their potential development. SMA PGRI 1 Bandung aims to develop students' potential not only through academic activities but also through non-academic activities, including extracurriculars. Currently, the process of selecting extracurricular activities at SMA PGRI 1 Bandung is conducted manually by filling out registration forms distributed by the student affairs department. This method is considered ineffective due to various issues such as lost forms, uneven distribution of forms, and students choosing extracurricular activities that do not match their character. To address these problems, a webbased Decision Support System (DSS) using the Simple Multi Attribute Rating Technique (SMART) method is needed. The SMART method uses criteria weighting to evaluate alternatives and determine the best choice. This research applies the SMART method into a web-based DSS to assist in selecting extracurricular activities for students. By involving several criteria in the selection process that are more personal to the students, the results obtained will be more aligned with the students' desires, thus reducing errors in selecting extracurricular activities.

Abstract

Face detection is a way of localizing and extracting facial areas that aims for face recognition that is able to identify a person's identity or information from the face. Temperature measurement is a quantity that states thedegree of hotor cold an object or object. because a body temperature that reaches 38 ° C is a sign of disease. The Haar Cascade method has a broad feature set that can be calculated accurately and quickly, it can reduce variability in one class and increase variability between classes, then form a cascade gradually with classification results and detection schemes that are more complex, fast and efficient. This tool uses Arduino Mega as a microcontroller, a webcam as aface detection camera, a MLX90614 sensor as a body temperature detector and a buzzer as a component to provide warnings. In its application, this tool does not require visitors or campus employees and User Control to interact directly. Visitors will follow directions to detect faces, and check temperature, where if it is detected with a high body temperature, the tool will automatically give a warning with a buzzer sound with a long and high tone if the temperature is detected => 37°C. User Control will receive information on the results of face detection and body temperature from behind the monitor screen.

Abstract

Industri kelapa sawit memiliki peranan penting dalam ekonomi global, termasuk Indonesia. Pemilihan bibit yang optimal menjadi kunci bagi produktivitas perkebunan. Di Sumatera Selatan, PT. Pinang Witmas Sejati mengatasi tantangan ini melalui Sistem Pendukung Keputusan (SPK) berbasis metode Preference Selection Index (PSI) untuk pemilihan bibit kelapa sawit. SPK ini memfasilitasi pengumpulan, pengorganisasian, dan analisis data kualitas bibit serta kondisi perkebunan. Dengan memanfaatkan PSI, SPK memberikan rekomendasi bibit dengan pertumbuhan optimal, ketahanan terhadap penyakit, dan rendemen tinggi. Penelitian ini menghasilkan implementasi Sistem Pendukung Keputusan berbasis PSI. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa bibit dura berusia 10-12 bulan menduduki peringkat tertinggi berdasarkan skor PSI. Keunggulan bibit ini meliputi tinggi tanaman, jumlah pelepah yang memadai, diameter batang yang proporsional, serta ketahanan yang kuat terhadap hama. Temuan ini menjadi panduan berharga bagi industri kelapa sawit dalam memilih bibit potensial.

Abstract

Penilaian akhir atau evaluasi dapat digunakan untuk menentukan apakah pendidikan berhasil atau tidak, untuk mengambil keputusan yang terbaik, evaluasi belajar harus dilakukan sesuai dengan metode dan langkah-langkah yang telah ditetapkan. Guru akan menentukan dimana kekurangan dan apa yang perlu diperbaiki setelah meninjau tes hasil belajar. Pemilihan siswa unggulan merupakan prosedur yang berlarut-larut dan sulit serta kurang akurat akibat evaluasi manual oleh karena itu dibutuhkannya sistem pendukung keputusan untuk menentukan nilai perhitungan terhadap semua kriteria. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi dalam evaluasi ini adalah kurangnya pemanfaatan teknologi khususnya dalah bidang pendidikan khususnya proses evaluasi hasil belajar peserta didik, dimana hal ini merupakan permasalah utama yang dihadapi dalam proses evaluasi khusunya pada SMK Mandiri. Metode SMART (Simple Multi Attribute Rating Technique) dalam sistem pedukung keputusan dirasa adalah metode paling tepat dalam melakukan implementasi dalam proses evaluasi hasil belajar peserta didik. metode ini merupakan metode yang berdasarkan pada teori bahwa setiap alternatif terdiri dari sejumlah kriteria yang memiliki bobot yang menggambarkan seberapa penting suatu bobot dibandingkan degan bobot yang lain. Metode ini mencakup langkah-langkah yang pertama menentukan kriteria, menentukan bobot kriteria, normalisasi bobot kriteria, memberikan nilai parameter untuk tiap kriteria, menentukan nilai utility, dan yang terakhir adalah menentukan nilai akhir. Sistem informasi ini dirancang berbasis web menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP dibantu dengan framework Codeigniter 3 dan juga database mysql. Hasil dari perhitungan SMART ini menggunakan 20 data siswa/i dengan 5 kriteria yaitu pengetahuan, keterampilan, sikap, absensi, dan ekstrakulikuler. Percobaan pada sistem adalah perankingan yang diurutkan berdasarkan nilai terbesar hingga terkecil dan hail perhitungan dari 20 data tersebut diperoleh 3 siswa berprestasi yaitu pertama dengan hasil nilai akhir 152,5, kedua 143,75, dan ketiga 141,25.

Abstract

Di era globalisasi, pengetahuan bahasa Inggris telah menjadi faktor penting keberhasilan dalam berbagai bidang profesi. Sertifikasi bahasa Inggris yang diakui secara internasional, seperti TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language), menjadi semakin penting, terutama bagi non-penutur asli. Proses pendaftaran dan administrasi ujian TOEFL tradisional seringkali memerlukan waktu dan tenaga tambahan. Namun, kemajuan teknologi informasi dan Internet diharapkan memungkinkan aplikasi platform mengatasi hambatan-hambatan ini dan meningkatkan aksesibilitas dan kenyamanan bagi calon peserta. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memberikan informasi rinci tentang tes TOEFL, membantu dalam perencanaan tes yang memenuhi kebutuhan peserta, dan memberikan pedoman pendaftaran yang jelas untuk meningkatkan efisiensi pendaftaran.

Abstract

The development of technology is currently increasing very rapidly and is felt in the industrial world and society, one of which is the use of smart home technology, at this time many electrical devices are integrated with computers, this is certainly very useful for human work in operating electrical devices. The purpose of this smart home research is to control electrical and lighting devices in a system that aims to use electrical energy in a building effectively and efficiently. In this study, a smart home system model that works in a controlled manner based on the Internet of Things (IoT) was designed using Arduino and ESP8266 microcontrollers and the prototype method. A prototype system is built and can be controlled remotely using theFirebase Realtime Database. From this it can be concluded that smart homes can control household appliances such as fans, televisions and lights and can be controlled remotely by the user by giving commands through the smart home. Application and connect to the microcontroller to operate and control household appliances to reduce the consumption of electrical energy when the user forgets to turn off household appliances.

Abstract

Electrical energy has become one of the main needs in this modern era. Along with the development of technology, now people's activities have begun to use a lot of electronic devices which basically require electrical energy as a resource. Without realizing it, the more use of electronic devices, the greater the electricity bill that must be paid each month. The use of electricity in a boarding house often causes jealousy among the residents. Usually the boarding house owner is charged the same electricity bill by the boarding owner while the electricity usage is different. The main problem faced is the absence of a system that can read the electricity usage of each occupant of the boarding house. This makes boarding house owners unable to share electricity bills proportionally between those who are frugal and those who are wasteful. The monitoring system for electricity usage will help boarding house owners to be able to limit and share electricity bills proportionally among the occupants. This system is designed using the IoT concept with the ESP8266 module and the PZEM-004T sensor as a measuring tool. This system reads the occupants' electricity usage from time to time and the data is stored on a data server. Information can be accessed through a website that can present the results of the use of electric power by the occupants of the boarding house in the form of usage graphs along with the amount of electricity bills for each room in the boarding house.
