Abstract

The development of information technology has driven the rapid growth of e-commerce in Indonesia. Online transactions offer convenience for consumers, but also present various potential risks such as fraud, unsuitable goods, and data privacy violations. This research aims to analyze the legal protection provided to consumers in e-commerce transactions, as well as the effectiveness of existing regulations in guaranteeing consumer rights. The method used is a normative juridical approach by examining laws and regulations such as Law Number 8 of 1999 concerning Consumer Protection, ITE Law, and Government Regulation No. 80 of 2019 concerning Trading Through Electronic Systems. The results showed that although regulations are available, the implementation of legal protection for consumers still faces challenges, especially in the aspects of law enforcement and consumer education. Therefore, collaborative efforts between the government, business actors, and the community are needed to create a safe and fair e-commerce ecosystem for consumers.

Abstract

In the digital age, the adoption of banking services through mobile applications is increasingly important. Although BSI Mobile and BYOND by BSI offer various features to make transactions easier, the level of use of these apps varies among customers. This study aims to analyze the influence of functionality, usability (ease of use), and user feedback on public preferences in using two mobile banking applications owned by Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI), namely BSI Mobile and BYOND by BSI. The method used was a comparative quantitative approach, with data collection through a questionnaire involving 74 respondents who were active users of both applications. Data analysis was carried out through validity, reliability, classical assumption tests (normality, multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity), and multiple linear regression. The results showed that only the usability variable had a positive and significant influence on public preferences (p = 0.015), while functionality (p = 0.252) and user feedback (p = 0.056) had a positive but insignificant effect. These findings emphasize that ease of use is prioritized by the public over the number of features or developers' responses to user feedback. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of improving interface and user experience aspects to encourage the wider adoption of mobile banking services.

Abstract

The development of agribusiness in Indonesia has opened a new discourse in agribusiness practices carried out primarily by farmers or cultivators. One form of agribusiness that is quite widely carried out is the partnership concept. Several companies try to offer this partnership concept to farmers to produce a certain commodity and guarantee the marketing of their products. The concept and pattern of partnership offered by one company to another varies. Several factors that influence the concept and pattern of partnership are the type of commodity cultivated, consumer demand for the cultivated commodity, and the market share of the cultivated commodity. PT East West Seed Indonesia (Ewindo) is the first integrated vegetable seed company in Indonesia that has a commitment to being the best Farmer's Friend. The research focuses on: 1) How is the seed management contract at PT East West Seed Indonesia in the Jember Region? 2) How is the identification of forms of risk control in the seed management contract by PT East West Seed Indonesia in the Jember Region? This type of research is descriptive qualitative research with the researcher's own key instrument. The research location is at PT East West Seed Indonesia in Gumuksari, Tegal Besar, Kec. Kaliwates, Jember Regency, East Java. Data collection used interview, documentation, and observation methods. Data analysis was conducted using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing techniques. The data sources obtained consisted of primary and secondary data sources. The results of this study indicate that: First, the seed management contract implemented by PT East West Seed Indonesia (Ewindo) in the Jember region demonstrates a highly structured and calculated modern agribusiness partnership model. Based on the findings, the company does not diversify the contract model, but instead adopts a uniform and binding nucleus-plasma partnership framework. This structure is built on the principle of strict reciprocity, where the rights and obligations of both parties (the company and the farmers) are clearly defined to minimize risk and uncertainty (gharar). Second, the identification of forms of risk control in the seed management contract by PT East West Seed Indonesia (Ewindo) in Jember demonstrates a comprehensive and layered risk management architecture. From the company's perspective, risk control is designed proactively through the systematic identification of four main areas: technical-quality, agronomic production, operational-behavioral, and market.

Abstract

The Islamic economy presents different challenges than conventional economics. Beyond monitoring the behavior of economic actors, including producer households, consumer households, and the government, the challenge is to develop a concept of ideal behavior according to Islamic teachings that economic actors should adopt and its potential impact on the economy. Specifically, this science, in addition to studying relevant variables that can cause differences between actual and ideal behavior, also proposes appropriate strategies to guide one's actions. Ontology discusses the nature of the object of study. In other words, ontology is the science of existence itself. Epistemology examines how knowledge systems are structured. In other words, it discusses the scope and limitations of science. Revelation's truth is not arbitrary, and its role in seeking truth is crucial because it is absolute. However, rational truth and empirical facts must be placed within the overall Islamic framework. In fact, Islam highly values reason, and God is angry with those who refuse to use reason. The study of the axiology of Islamic economics aims to examine Islamic economics from the perspective of values and interests. The existence of Islamic economics is expected to provide solutions to these problems.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the significant potential of Zakat, Infaq, and Shadaqah (ZIS) in Jember Regency and LAZISNU Jember's efforts to optimize collection through innovative organizational network-based management and the use of digital marketing. Challenges faced include low public trust in zakat institutions and unequal digital literacy. The purpose of this study is to analyze the zakat management model implemented by LAZISNU Jember Regency through the integration of organizational networks and digital marketing. This study used a qualitative approach, with data collection methods including interviews, observation, and documentation. The results show that LAZISNU Jember implements a hybrid management model that combines the strength of NU's solid organizational network from the PCNU, MWC, to the Branch level with a digital marketing strategy through social media such as Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. This model has proven effective in increasing fundraising, transparency, and donor outreach. However, the main obstacle faced is unequal digital literacy among administrators and some members of the community. The study recommends enhancing digital training for administrators to strengthen sustainability in zakat management.

Food security in rural areas presents challenges such as limited access to food and dependence on the harvest season, thus requiring appropriate interventions to ensure sustainable food availability, 2. The distribution pattern of agricultural zakat in rural areas today generally runs in two forms, direct distribution by muzakki to mustahik and distribution through organized amil zakat institutions, with consumptive and productive methods, 3. The effective distribution pattern of agricultural zakat for village food security is to distribute zakat to the Amil Zakat Institution (LAZ) which is then redistributed to farmers.
