Abstract

The use of learning management software is increasingly widespread in the era of industry 4.0, but most of the software was developed in the time when the use of smartphones has not been widespread, so that the interface is designed for use on desktop computers. Although e-learning allows users to access lecture material remotely through web applications, user mobility is still limited because it depends on the position of the desktop where he works. Accesing the application using a smartphone is also not enjoyable due to poor performance and the screen is too cluttered with the menu, which is don’t fit with the small screen of the smartphone. This lead to less optimal use of the e-learning facilities by students. To overcome the above obstacles, this research designed an e-learning application interface with native applications on mobile devices. This e-learning mobile application consists of a backend that runs on the server and a frontend application on a smartphone device. As a backend to servers, chamilo-based online learning management software is used. Chamilo is an opensource online learning management software developed with php programming language. The mobile software was developed natively for android devices using the react native framework, a programing framework based on javascript programming language. Access to the database using SOAP-based webservice and RESTFUL API. It is expected that with this software students can access the lecture material more frequently due the simple and more intuitive interface without being hindered by complex menus, so that the level of absorption of learning material is higher.

Abstract

One of them is technology in the field of communication is a social media platform. Social media Youtube is one of the most widely used social media in Indonesia. The benefits gained by Content Creators or Youtubers come from AdSense. Youtube has several features provided such as likes, dislikes, views and comments (comments with negative or positive sentiments). An automatic classification system for YouTube comment sentiment is needed to classify positive comments and negative comments, while analyzing features that affect the number of subscribers so that Content Creators can find out features that can affect the number of subscribers. In this research a comment sentiment classification system will automatically be created using the Naive Bayes (NB) algorithm so that the process of classifying positive and negative comments can be done easily, the data used in the analysis are 53 Youtube channels with vlog video types. In addition, the data used as classification training data were 4166 positive sentiments and 4166 negative sentiments, after which an analysis of features affecting the number of subscribers was performed using chi square. The results of the analysis with chi square found there are 4 features that have an influence on the number of subscribers, namely the number of views with a chi square value of 23,105, dislike with a chi square value of 13,745, the number of positive sentiment comments with a chi square value of 18,123 and the number of likes with a chi square value of 13,745. The accuracy of the automatic classification system using Naive Bayes (NB) is 81%.

Abstract

A learning system that used the internet to make learner can learn is called with e-learning. Almost in every learning process, e-learning already has been implemented. However, the usage of e-learning shall be found out from the students perspective especially in Vocational School in one of a city from Indonesia beside the usage of module. So that, the research is designed with the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). The survey is used as a methodology in this research. The object of this research is all students in Vocational School in Malang which is 32,802 in 2018. With the population, the researcher uses the sampling technic to get the proportional sample of students using purposive random sampling. Application of the TAM in this research shows result as percentage in every variables are: (1) e-learning self-efficacy has 84.68% which is very high category; (2) complexity has 46.79% which is in moderate category; (3) lack of time has 59.42% which is in a high category; (4) perceive usefulness has 87.2% which is in very high category; (5) perceived ease of use has 80.90% which is in very high category; (6) behavioral intention to use has 81.98% which is in the very high category; (7) actual technology use has 69.31% which is in the high category. From the result, some factors affect the usage of e-learning for the learner in the learning process. The factors are: (1) e-learning self-efficacy as a pretension to seek information from e-learning; (2) complexity to use the e-learning system; (3) lack of time to use e-learning beside learning process in class and extra activity in school; (4) the benefit perception of using e-learning in daily learning process; (5) easily perception to use e-learning. The fifth factors make students to use e-learning to assign their task and this will make students use in their daily learning process.

Abstract

The village head election is an example of a general election that requires the role and active participation of the community. In the election of village heads it is usually done at the village hall at one time. Because it is only done in one place and a large number of voters in one village causes a long queue registration. In registration, the Voter List remains a very important data as a basis for political participation for the selection of systems needed to support and verify the DPT as an administrative process before voting. another system is the village head's voting system based on patterns. The object of research used was DPT data obtained from the Chair of the Committee. This DPT verification system provides benefits in the DPT data verification process which quickly and precisely improves the voting process and also avoids multiple elections in the voting process. The integration of the DPT verifier system for village head election based on the quick response code has been approved using Black Box Testing and has run well with 100% accuracy.

Abstract

Twitter is one of the social media that is widely used by the public as a communication media and obtain information. Through this social media, users can submit various opinions or comments on an issue. The opinions and comments that users submit through the tweets they send can be used for sentiment analysis. Therefore, in this study sentiment analysis of tweets related to the University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM) was carried out to determine public opinion about this campus. The analysis was carried out by classifying tweets that contain people’s sentiments regarding UMM. The classification method used in this study is Naïve Bayes and Support Vector Machine (SVM) by weighting the term using TF-IDF. The result of the two methods shows that Naïve Bayes gets better accuracy than SVM with an accuracy of 73,65%

Abstract

Security and confidentiality are very important aspects for users of information technology. To avoid messages that are sent falling on unauthorized parties and news occurs on the message. There are many ways that can be done for housing data or messages to be sent. One of them is steganography. Steganography is a technique of inserting messages into other media, so that the message will be hidden and what will appear is other media to insert messages. Steganography requires a message and cover. Cover is the medium used to enter messages. This study aims to include a message in the form of an image on the cover in the form of an image in JPG and PNG formats. In this study, using the Least Significant Bit (LSB) method as the insertion method and modification method to optimize the LSB performance in inserting messages of 1 to 4 bits. From the results of research on the insertion with cover images and message images using PNG format based on information and PSNR shows the best number of bits with 1-bit message insertion while in the process of extracting message images from cover images that have gone through the insertion process using PNG format based on cooperation and MAPE shows best bit count with 4 bit message insertion. Decrease, the more bits that are inserted, the quality cover will decrease but the extraction result is the higher the quality increase in the return message.

Abstract

CV. XYZ is a company founded in 2010 and located in Surabaya, has a business in crispy chicken snack. With the fast growing of its customers and product types, the planning and stock listing of products to be distributed to each stand will become more complicated. On the other side, stock delivery calculation which is done manually based on weekly historical data caused imbalance stock between the supply of raw material in stockroom and demand in each stand. Therefore, in this research is proposed a system of inventory and stock delivery using Weighted Moving Average forecasting method. So that stock delivery will be more efficient.

Abstract

Kedawung Wetan village is one of the areas in Pasuruan district that often receives floods due to overflow from the Rejoso River. The river overflow was caused by water sent from higher ground areas south of Kedawung Wetan Village, namely Lumbang Village and Winongan Village. Due to the flood disaster, many residents were unable to save their belongings because floods could occur at any time. In Kedawung Wetan village, early warning of floods is still running manually, which still involves humans in providing information so that errors can occur. In addition, the Kedawung Wetan village still covers 2G networks, so an application that can work on 2G networks is needed. To overcome this, in this study, it was found that the village of Kedawung Wetan needed an early warning technology based on an SMS Gateway which could operate on a 2G network, input that runs automatically using a device based on the AtMega 328 Arduino microcontroller which is equipped with an ultrasonic sensor as a water level detector. streams and SIM 900 GSM Shield for sending SMS alerts. The research development was carried out using the Waterfall method. The development of this system shows that the average time for sending messages is 2 minutes, the fastest time is 1.5 minutes and the longest time is 2.5 minutes using 3 different sample operators.
