Abstract

Women-owned MSMEs play a strategic role in the national economy. However, many women MSMEs do not yet have adequate digital capacity to respond to changes in consumer behavior that now rely on technology in making purchasing decisions. In addition, structural barriers such as limited access to technology and capital, as well as socio-cultural barriers such as gender stereotypes and double workloads, complicate the process of adopting digitalization. Although many studies discuss these challenges, there are still limited studies that specifically explore the digital marketing strategies implemented by women-owned MSMEs in response to the dynamics of consumer behavior, especially in the local context. This study aims to analyze the digital marketing strategies adopted by women-owned MSMEs in Padang City. The approach used is a mixed method with an explanatory sequential design, starting with a survey of 125 women MSMEs, followed by in-depth interviews. The findings of this study indicate a significant shift in consumer behavior in the digital era, emphasizing the importance of convenience and ease in purchasing decisions. Therefore, it is crucial for women-led MSMEs to understand these behavioral changes and master appropriate marketing strategies to thrive in this evolving market landscape.

Abstract

Social media platforms offer numerous benefits to entrepreneurs; however, paradoxically, younger generations, such as university students, often fail to leverage these platforms to foster entrepreneurial interest. Additionally, financial management skills are essential for running a business effectively. This situation necessitates the development of social media literacy and digital financial literacy to enhance entrepreneurial interest among students. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of social media literacy on the entrepreneurial interest of secretarial program students and to investigate the moderating role of digital financial literacy in the relationship between social media literacy and entrepreneurial interest. This study employed a quantitative research approach, utilizing online questionnaire distribution as the primary data collection method. The sample was determined through purposive sampling involving 50 secretarial program students at Universitas Budi Luhur. The findings reveal that social media literacy has a positive and significant impact on the entrepreneurial interest of secretarial program students at Universitas Budi Luhur. Furthermore, the results indicate that digital financial literacy plays a role in shaping the effect of social media literacy on entrepreneurial interest among these students.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a crucial role in economic growth, job creation, and social security, particularly in Jember Regency, where MSMEs constitute a significant portion of the business sector. However, various challenges, such as leadership effectiveness, entrepreneurial competence, and motivation, may impact their overall performance. This study aims to examine the influence of entrepreneurial leadership and competence on MSME performance, with entrepreneurial motivation as a mediating variable. A quantitative explanatory research design was employed, involving a survey of 101 MSME owners in Jember Regency using purposive sampling. The data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The findings indicate that entrepreneurial leadership significantly affects MSME performance, whereas entrepreneurial competence and motivation do not show a direct impact. However, both leadership and competence positively influence entrepreneurial motivation. Furthermore, motivation does not mediate the relationship between leadership or competence and MSME performance. These findings suggest that MSME performance is shaped not only by internal factors such as leadership and competence but also by external influences, including access to capital, government policies, and infrastructure support. Future research should explore additional variables such as innovation, digital marketing, and business strategies to provide a more comprehensive understanding of MSME growth and sustainability.

Abstract

The implementation of Hospital Management Information Systems (SIMRS) in Indonesia, mandated by the Ministry of Health, reflects the country's digital transformation in healthcare particularly in managing electronic medical records (EMRs), operational efficiency, and patient data security. This study aims to develop a privacy risk governance framework by integrating three key references: COSO Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) 2017, ISO/IEC 27701:2019, and Indonesia’s Personal Data Protection (PDP) Law No. 27/2022. Employing a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews with five key stakeholders and analyzed thematically. Five major themes emerged: (1) Governance and Leadership in Privacy Risk, (2) Privacy Risk Identification and Assessment, (3) Privacy Controls and Operational Safeguards, (4) Monitoring and Incident Management, and (5) Legal and Regulatory Compliance. The study identified fragmented privacy practices, weak governance structures, and limited awareness of privacy obligations. To address these gaps, a phased improvement plan is proposed—starting with the appointment of a Data Protection Officer (DPO), the development of privacy-related standard operating procedures (SOPs), and the implementation of privacy impact assessments. These steps are designed to improve digital maturity and regulatory alignment. The proposed governance model is adaptable and scalable for other hospitals in Indonesia facing similar challenges. Ultimately, this framework contributes to enhancing patient safety, ensuring data protection, and supporting a sustainable digital health transformation.

Abstract

The rapid growth of digital payment systems makes e-wallets increasingly important in the financial technology sector. This study examines the effect of perceived usefulness and cashback reward programs on e-wallet user satisfaction, with e-wallet involvement as a mediating variable. The data collection techniques are observation of how users interact with e-wallet applications through usage analysis and monitoring of how often transactions are made, interviews with the aim of gaining in-depth insight into user experience and literature studies by collecting journals, articles related to this study. The data analysis uses the Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) approach with SmartPLS 3.0, software following a two-stage approach: measurement model evaluation (outer model) and structural model evaluation (inner model). The measurement model assessment included convergent validity, discriminant validity, and reliability tests. The structural model evaluation examined path coefficients, significance levels, R-square values, and effect sizes.with data collected from 300 e-wallet users through purposive sampling. The population consisted of e-wallet users in Indonesia, with the sample selected using purposive sampling technique. The inclusion criteria required respondents to have used e-wallet applications for at least three months. The results indicate that perceived usefulness (β=0.137, p<0.05) and cashback reward programs (β=0.236, p<0.001) significantly influence e-wallet engagement. E-wallet engagement significantly affects user satisfaction (β=0.287, p<0.001), and perceived usefulness directly influences satisfaction (β=0.362, p<0.001). The mediation analysis reveals that e-wallet engagement partially mediates the relationship between both independent variables and user satisfaction. The findings suggest that e-wallet providers should focus on enhancing perceived usefulness and designing attractive reward programs while maintaining high user engagement to drive satisfaction.

Abstract

The global economy increasingly emphasizes development in terms of the economy that must be able to improve people's standard of living to achieve progress. Labor force participation is one of the important factors influencing economic growth, where the role of women in the workforce is often hampered by gender inequality that still exists in Indonesia. This study aims to analyze the relationship between the level of male and female participation in the workforce to the Indonesian economy. This study uses secondary data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) to analyze the differences in labor participation between men and women, and their impact on macroeconomic indicators. Using the panel data regression analysis method, this study compares the effect of male and female labor force participation on economic growth in various provinces in Indonesia. The results of the study show that there is an effect on male LFPR and female LFPR, although male participation in the workforce is higher than women, increasing female participation can make a significant contribution to the Indonesian economy, especially in sectors that require skilled workers. This study can help the Indonesian government in making the right policies.

Abstract

This study examines how perceived credibility, eco-literacy, and environmental awareness shape green trust and ultimately increase green sharing intention toward environmentally friendly packaging made from palmyra palm in the context of Generation Z in Kupang. The aim is to emphasize the central role of green trust as a psychological bridge between perception, knowledge, and awareness with green information sharing behavior that has advocacy value. The method used is a quantitative survey based on an attitude scale questionnaire, with analysis using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling. This study involved 144 respondents. The results show that green trust directly drives green sharing intention, perceived credibility directly drives green sharing intention, while perceived credibility, eco-literacy, and environmental awareness strengthen green trust; subsequently, green trust mediates the influence of these three factors, thereby driving stronger sharing intentions. In the context of palmyra palm packaging, trust provides psychological legitimacy to sustainability claims and channels environmental awareness impacts through more stable beliefs. Theoretically, this study enriches the green marketing literature by introducing an integrated framework that positions green trust as a mediating mechanism linking credibility, ecological literacy, and awareness with green sharing intentions, while expanding the discourse that previously focused more on green purchasing intentions. Practically, these findings provide concrete guidance for companies and policymakers to strengthen transparent communication strategies, develop ecological literacy programs, and intensify environmental awareness campaigns to encourage consumer advocacy and expand the adoption of sustainable palm based packaging as an alternative to single-use plastics.
