Abstract

This investigation was designed to examine the relationship that exist among Mosqueyoungster's knowledge of Islam, Mosque youngster's knowledge of population problem andMosque youngster's attitude toward small family norm. This relationship would be studiedin corellational form by independently or collectively.The subject of this research was the Mosque youngster's at Surabaya. This researchused a survey method. The sample included 210 persons. The data were collected usingsimple and multiple regression analysis.The finding of this research were, first, a positive highly significant correlation existedbetween mosque youngster's knowledge of Islam and mosque youngster's attitude towardsmall family norm. Second, a positive highly significant correlation existed between mosqueyoungster's knowledge of population problems and mosque youngster's attitude towardsmall family norm. Third, a positive highly significant multiple correlation existed amongmosque youngster's knowledge of Islam and mosque youngster's knowledge of populationproblem collectively and mosque youngster's attitude toward small family norm.

Abstract

Teknologi pendidikan (EducationalTechnology) dan teknologi pembelajaran(Instructional Technology)sering diasosiasikan dengan pembahasanmengenai pemanfaatan media sebagaiperangkat keras untuk belajar. Pada halmedia sebenarnya hanya rnerupakanbagian dari komponen teknologipendidikan dan teknologi pembelajaran.Baik teknologi pendi-dikan maupunteknologi pembelajaran, keduanyamenekankan pada upaya membantuproses belajar manusia dengan jalanmemanfaatkan secara optimal sumbersumberbelajar melalui fungsipengembangan dan pengelolaan. Jadi,makna konsep teknologi pendidikan danteknologi ini lebih ]uas dari padasekedar pemanfaatan Inedia sebagaiperangkat keras untuk pendidikan danpembelajaran.Buku Instructional Media andTechnologies for Learning karyaHeinich dkk., merupakan salah satubuku yang menjawab kritik tersebut. Halini dapat dilihat dari pendekatan yangdigunakan dalam penulisan bukutersebut, yaitu beranjak dari perspektifpendidik atauguru dalammengintegrasikan media sebagai produk teknologi dengan proses pembelajaran.Buku tersebut terdiri dari 12 babdan 3 lampiran. Buku tersebut dimulaidengan s·ajian pendahuluan dalambentuk visual, berupa contoh-contohpenerapan media dan teknologi untukmeningkatkan pembelajaran. Bab 1membahas peranan media dan teknologiuntuk pelnbelajaran, dilengkapi denganlandasan teoritik yang relevan denganproses komunikasi, psikologi belajardan mengajar. Selain itu, dibahas pulaperspektif filosofis penggunaan media,peranan media dalam pendidikan danpelatihan, dan penerapan hasil-hasilpenelitian yang relevan dengan mediadalam praktek pembelajaran. Bab 2menyajikan model perencanaanpembelajaran yang diberi namaASSURE (singkatan dari AnalyzeLearner, State ObJ·ectives, Select-Methods. Media and Materials,UtilizeMedia and Materials, Require LearnerParticipation, Evaluate and Revise).Sesuai dengan model tersebut,perencanaan sistematis penggunaanmedia meliputi: Analisis siswa;merumuskan tujuan pembelajarankhusus; memilih metode, media, danbahan atau paket pembelajaran; menggunakan media dan paketpembelajaran; mengupayakan partisipasiaktif siswa; mengevaluasi danmerevisi.

Abstract

The pwpose of this research is to describe the educational pattern of children by womenlabor ofthe infonnal sector·in Yogyakarta municipality.The subjects of this research are wotnen labor of the infonnal sector at Maliboro Street,Yogyakarta. This research is the survei research. The instrument used in this research is aquestionare, an observation sheet, and an interview question list. Data are analysed by using adescriptive technique.Based on the analysis, it shows that: (1) why the women work in the infonnal sector isaimed at helping their husband for making a living (55%) and seeking their children's educationcost (45%). (2) The women who cany out the infonnal education pattern can be categorized intwo namely good (36.55%) and poor (63.45%). (3) The women who support the fonnaleducation pattern can be explained that the good categoty is 61.33%, while tIle poor categol)' is38.67%. (4) The women.who support the nonfonnal education pattern can be categorized inatwo namely good category (11.83%) and poor category (88.17%). This can concluded thatwomen labor of the infonnal sector in to educate the children tend to believe the fonnaleducation, while for the infonnal and non-fonnal education they lacked attention. (5) The mainproblems faced in their children's education is that the mother have no time to educate thechildren. This leads lack of togetherness, lack of intimacy, free relationship, and stubbron. Theother problems are that education cost is very limited, the mothers Jack helping student's handlethe subjects provided, and the children tend to believe the other people.

Abstract

The main purpose of this study is to investigate analytically some philosophies to find outwhat philosophy on which the vocational education is appropriately based for preparing theIndonesian live in the global and information era.The study is focused only on an idealism, realism, pragmatism, and re~onstructionism asa foundation of education curriculum in general and the possibilities of adoption forIndonesian vocational education.Some recommendations are suggested as follows: it is likely that vocational educationbetter to adopt eclectical principles derived from the principles of idealism, realism,pragmatism, and reconstructionism in order for the vocational education capable of preparingstudents for tommorrow living that have skins as well as capabilities in adapting their lifewithin the changing world, beside they have propositional abilities such as high motivation,creativity, and critical thinking.

Abstract

The globalization has revieled the fast growing complexity in our society. If, there fore, isof crucial importance for society, including high institution ofsport discipline, to adopt tangibleparadigm and strategy so as to remain keeping abreast with all dynalnics. The high institutionof sport discipline having no sense of future and dynamic anticipationof merely equipping itselfwith temporary reaction will be crushed by the changes in our sociaty and, in tum, it willgradually"die out".Welcoming this challeging globalitation era, the high institution of sport discipline is leftbehind in tenns of its human recaurses aspecton studies of sport, science development. Thehigh institution of sport discipline has not yet shown is capability to statify the society's need.The development of science and tecnology in the high institution of sport discipline has beenexperiencing slow development in to comparison to the development of sport world.Four strategies need developing to face the future challenge the high institution of spoetdiscipline, firstly, carrying out changeover management syitematically, totally,essentially with "the main goal of the renewed orientation. Scondly, developing the academic, quality.T/lirdely,translating the concept of link and match into reality according to what society needs. Finally,developing national and international role in having concern on high institution of sportdiscipline and national and international sport organizations.

Abstract

The article discussed about the status and function of evaluation which isproportionally using both macro and Inicro scales on Biology"! specially in SeniorHigh School. The discussion was applied by cOlTIbining theories and the facts exist.The result concluded that macro scale evaluation on Biology in Senior High Schoolby using the nati\onal asseSSlnent (Ebtanas) , which is only measuring the cognitiveability should be used as a mean to monitor and describe the quality of education inilnproving the policy and not to deterlnine the graduation or entrance selection. Theresult of analysis on Ebtanas outcomes should be distributed to the teachers in orderto make any improvement on teaching quality based on cognitive aspect. Thegraduation or student achievement on Biology related to the notion of IPA whichcontains the product and process skill was better to be assessed by using authenticassessment so that the students' work could be the orientation of teaching-learningachievement.

Abstract

The eclining quality of the Indonesian character needs to be resolved. One of the ways tosolve this problem is through the educational practice, by using a more effective approach.A single approach of values education is considered to be ineffective, that is why it isneeded a comprehensive one. The development of students' personality should be holistic innature, including the intellectual, emotional, and spiritual intelligence. Four importantsubstances of values education are values realization, character education, citizenship education,and moral education. Various programs are needed to help young people develop their "lifeskills". The important goals of character education include: respect, responsibility, compassion,self-discipline, loyalty, courage, tolerance, work ethic, and a belief in and love of God. Themajor aspects of citizenship education include: knowledge of being good citizens, appreciationto democratic system and civic values, critical thlnking skills, communication skills, cooperationskills, and conflict resolution skills. The major goal of moral education is to produceautonomous individuals who are in a high level of moral reasoning, are colnlnitted to acting in amanner cosistent with it or who have noble characters.The four important substances stated above are better integrated in Religion Education andPancasila Moral Education. Various strategies of values and moral education should be utilized,including inculcating values, modeling values, facilitating values, and the development of skillsfor achieving a personally peaceful and socially constructive life, as a manifestation of strongfaith.

Abstract

The inter-religious harmony should be done among the pluralistic society like Indonesia.Several ways can be made for building inter-religious harmony. The raising consciousness toappreciate religious freedom from adherents of a religion to others is a key for building thisharmony. To make the consciousness grows can be made with several ways, among them isreligious study method both by normative-theological approach and critical-empiricalapproach.The religious education in university, especially in public university, is one of mediumcan be made to do religious study for building inter-religious harmony. The religious educationcan be done by exclusive particularistic way for each adherent of a religion for martering hisreligious principles in depth. For building inter-religious harmony, the religious education willbe more effectively if it be done by pluralistic way, by participating all of the students fromseveral adherents of a religion to attend the study of religions. They are given thecomprehensive understanding to religions, especially about the equality, until they haveconsciousness to appreciate another religion with available.

Recently' "SARA" cases appear to the direction ofnation disintegration ofcourse influencesthe learning in th~ school, which ,is not good. One of the lessons that close relationship with thisproblem .i~ Religion Education and Civics Education. That is why according team nationalEducation":Departement needs the learning system in Civics Education.The: lean:llng process of Civics Education with the paradigm is hoped can give the newinspiration for ".teacher to development the student capacity ti the nation integration and sicialconcern. TIle "new paradigm is shoed in the way of learning that is used in the Civics Education,that the process.is very important. This case is different with the "Moral Pancasila" Education, thelatter is nearly like an indoctrination.The strategy which is used in giving material of Civics Ed.ucation directed to the knowingand doing with values clarification method, problem solving and inquiry. On the hand forevaluation using direct observation, not only cognitifevaluation, but al~o afectifand psychomotor.
