Abstract

The purpose of this study arc (l) to tmprave the Elementary Schooi srudentsi anirude toward teaching writing, and (2) to irrrprro" the Elementary Schoot sfiidents' writing skill' Thk-swdy is held a the srudenti of grade 4 of Sapen Ekmcntary School Yogyakana. The action process is catied out in one cycle' Giieralty, this srudy k ananged as  finding  fotlowed:  (1) the goal: ih,, opprrorh in order to improve the elementary sclwol -srude*s,  antiae nward teaching writing and to improve their writing skilt,  (2) ime: t5 clnssess meeting, (3) person: leryre  (4) general action: identifying the probkms of elemcntary scttool studcnts' aniade and ind Indotnesinn  grade  founh  rcacher,  to*oia iachiig writing and their writing skill, plnnning.the action, inpleienting the action (thU is the use of a writing process approach in teaching witing including the steps of 'pr*witin[,'  'toing,  drafting, revising, editing, and publishing),moni- dataaiig, and reflecting. The monitaring instruments is obseltation sheet, whereas the evalaging instrument are writing test and questbner. The resuh of thk study are (l) the writing process approach in teaching writing is able to improve the 'elementary^  school students' axirude nward teaching writing and their writing skitt,  (2) in contcting the writinY process, there are some students hbve dfficulties a revising and editingsteps so the teacher has a role in hetping them to revise and edit their works, and  (3) there are impacts of implementing the action those are thw the students hwe pa,nicipae at reading and speaking activities so they coutd improve their another language skills'

Abstract

The purpose of this quasi-experiment was to determine the effects of teaching techniqucs bv using visualmediamd dnh and ewm behwioron students' achievemcnt in learning German smrctutes.This quasi-experinagnt fourth senuster 6 wih a criterion-group daign wssconducted in fue academic yearlgg2ltggj a SMII 6 Yogyakarta.The sample t,us divided into two groups consisting of 20students with high and low entry behaviors respective$. The group was taugltt by using viswl wdia and tu second hy drills.Suderus'entry behwior nas determined by scores they obtaircdlrom their achievement in German hnguage at the end of the third senuster.Their achievemmt in German structures in this experimennl design tws mcasured by a strrcture test. Thc test had a validit.vr of 0,7A5 mdrehability r = 0,924.Alur the experimeruu ttu 4 semcster a two-rtyty ana$sis af varianci and the iwk"v+est with a lcvel ofsignificant alpha : 0,05 were used to test the hypotheses. Thc result indicated that:(l) There was no dffirence befiyeentlwstudents' achia,ement nught by using viswl media ditb; (2) For sudents with a high lcvel erury belwvior, there was no differmce in achievemews betweenusing visual media and drilts; (3) Howarcr students with low mtr-v behavior achieved higher scores with vistul media tlwn drilb.Th,s,this research impties tha smden* with low ewry belwior the usevisual media can be helpful.

Abstract

Kurikulum 1994 Bahasa Indonesia mengisyaratkan bahwa belajar bahasa adalah belajar berkomunikasi denganbahasa. Berkomunikasi yang dimaksud adalah menerima ide-ide yang disampaikan orang lain atau menginformasikan ide-ide yang dipikirkan kepadaorang lain.Kegiatan berbahasa yang berkaitan dengan haldi atas adalah memahami informasi arau menggunakan bahasa untuk mengekspresikanide-ide.untuk dapat dilakukannya semua kegiatan berbahasa itu diperlukan pengetahuan tentang bahasa' Dengan demikian, dalamKurikulum 1994 itu aspek bahasa yang dituntut adalah kebahasaan,pemahaman, Dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran, serta penggunaan bahasa. halitu menjadi pengetahuan kebahasaan, keterampilan membaca, menyimak, berbicara, dan menulis.

Abstract

The research is meant to find out the role of muscle's relative strength in judo learning.The method used is descriptive correlation method with path analysis. technique. Cousal models being hypothesized correlate the wi"iables of muscle's relative strength to pull and Push in judo learning. The results are: the form  causal models being hypothesized must be changed by eliminating the pth having coeficient less than 0.05. The pathbetween age and skill mastery of model I and 2, and  tw,een age and combination of skills of mastery and technique application of model 3 and 4 are eliminated. The relatrve strength to pull has dominant role to wards the skill technique mastery and application in the play, and the relatrve strength to pushhas  dominant rolet owards the skill of the technique mastery and application and also the combination of two skills,because the paths among the variables in the new models still exist.

Abstract

The average length of srudy of he students of the Dept. of Special Education of the academic year 197/lW used to be 6.12 years and none of the students gradwted with a predicue  cum laude. Research on study obstacles has not yet  "Student  been carried out. Research on Final Task Evalution of the Dept. Of Special Edtrcation of FIP IKIP in 1997' las been geared  ability of the sudentgs of tlat Dept. To do their  toward idewifying obow the finnl ns.ra (thcsis or non-thesis). Based on he results of tlw above mentiorwd research the objective has been to accelerate and to amcliorate the sady, and to improve thc quality  of thertnd task of the srudenu. Thc research appruch is contmt anatysis. Reseorch daa have been obnined  the reports on the  final  task (thesis  and non+hesis of thc academic year 195/j,9% and 195/199V. The dau vatidity of this research is the  justification  of the synchronization of the Ebel formuta.  White the data anatysis is based on the urivariant anatysis. To descibe the ability and the inabiliry of the sndents in pursuing  quatntive ond qmndntive  their  firnl  apprrnch has beenused., The research indicued that 65% of the students had chnsen thesis as their  tasks, and 35vo non-thesis as thcir  firu|  fiom tostcs a tastcs. Most of the proitems were concemed with psychological problcms, and research designs based on surveys elaborated into a.-postfacto antysis. Dau anatysis has been based on non-pramcaic stotistics. Textbools in the bolnsa Indonesia have been 1014 years old, and thc Engrish oncs lave been 20years oa., Thefinaltask of the sndeny courd  be divided iwoTAS (thesis  final  tosks) and rABS (non thesis  firwl tas/.s). For TAS there were 4l subjects and mostty on the btinds (12 subjects or 29,26%). while for TABS there are 23 subjea on menaily hondicapped(7 subjects or i0,43%). There v,as onty one subject on girted children or 4,34%. Ord il v.-s nat athesis, but afirai task (ion-thesis).TIis  due to the gifted fact that there is rw Format Institute which hardle children.To obnin those subjects on gified children be tied at normal schoob and  favoite schools.

The relationship beween particiption and marugeial performance has been ataaing not onty the business resmrchers bui also the educaional researchers.
