JARDIRA – Jurnal Pengabdian Digital dan Rekayasa Informatika translate JARDIRA (Journal of Digital Community Service and Informatics Engineering) is an academic journal published twice a year. JJARDIRA serves as a platform for disseminating research results, innovations, and advancements in the application of digital technology, informatics engineering, and digital business for community service and empowerment. he journal aims to foster knowledge exchange among researchers, academics, practitioners, and professionals by publishing high-quality, peer-reviewed articles that demonstrate the practical implementation of technology-based solutions addressing real societal challenges. Focus and Scope: JARDIRA is dedicated to the dissemination of digital-based community service research, with a strong emphasis on the application of informatics engineering, digital systems, and digital business solutions to support community empowerment, public service improvement, and socio-economic development. The journal welcomes original research articles, comprehensive reviews, and case studies that contribute to the development and implementation of technology-driven community service programs, including digital innovation, system development, digital entrepreneurship, and technology-enabled capacity building for communities. JARDIRA publishes articles in, but not limited to, the following areas: 1. Background: Al-Quddus Mosque in the G-Land Arcadia residential complex, Bojongsoang, functions as an important religious and social center for the local community. However, increasing activity levels and conventional security practices have exposed the mosque to risks such as theft, vandalism, and limited monitoring capabilities. Contribution: This community service program aimed to support the digital transformation of the mosque through the deployment of a smart security system as an initial step toward developing a Smart Mosque environment. Method: The program was implemented through four stages: situational analysis, system design, deployment of a high-definition CCTV surveillance network integrated with a Network Video Recorder (NVR), and operational training for mosque administrators. The surveillance system utilized Ezviz H3C Color 2MP cameras strategically installed in indoor and outdoor areas. A post-installation survey was conducted to evaluate community responses. Results: The digital security system was successfully installed and formally handed over to mosque administrators for future operation and maintenance. Training activities improved administrators’ readiness to operate the system independently. Survey results showed a highly positive response, with 99.35% of respondents agreeing or strongly agreeing that the project met community needs and should be continued in the future. Conclusion: The implementation transformed mosque security management from a conventional approach toward a proactive digital system. The initiative strengthened security infrastructure, enhanced community preparedness in managing digital assets, and provided a replicable model for technology-based religious facility management in the Society 5.0 era.

Background: The maggot cultivation group in Cepogo Village, Boyolali has economic and ecological potential, but product marketing remains conventional and lacks an integrated digital medium. Contribution: This program strengthens partner capacity by developing a website-based and e-commerce-oriented promotion model for maggot products. Method: The activity was implemented through needs observation, website design, product catalog development, WhatsApp Business and marketplace integration, training, and evaluation. Results: The outputs include a marketing website design, a digital product catalog, an online ordering flow, an admin dashboard concept, and activity documentation. Conclusion: Digital marketing helps organize product information, strengthen business identity, and facilitate online ordering access for potential customers.
Strengthening Teachers' Digital Literacy through Training in Wordwall-Based Learning Media

Background: Advances in information technology require teachers to possess adequate digital literacy skills to design innovative learning experiences that meet the needs of twenty-first-century students. However, limited access to training and technical mentoring has prevented the optimal use of digital learning technologies in elementary schools.Contribution: This community service program aimed to strengthen teachers’ digital literacy by introducing Wordwall as an interactive learning and assessment platform. The program also supported teachers in independently developing digital learning media that could be adapted to different instructional needs.Method: The program was conducted at MI Muhammadiyah Wonorejo through three main stages: socialization on the importance of digital literacy, practical training in the use of the Wordwall platform, and technical mentoring in the development of interactive learning media. Program effectiveness was evaluated using pre-tests, post-tests, observations, documentation, and assessments of the learning media created by participants.Results: The average level of teachers’ digital literacy competence increased from 35% to 80.5%, representing an improvement of 45.5 percentage points. Furthermore, 80% of the teachers were able to independently create Wordwall-based learning media, 70% were able to modify templates according to instructional needs, and 65% had begun using Wordwall as a learning evaluation tool.Conclusion: Training combined with continuous technical mentoring effectively strengthened teachers’ digital literacy, practical skills, and confidence in using educational technology. The program also encouraged the development of more interactive, innovative, and technology-enhanced learning practices in elementary education

Background: BUMDes Tumang Cepogo operates several business units, including waste-management services, financial services, logistics, and maggot cultivation. However, its managers still face limitations in financial literacy, inventory recording, and cost-based pricing, which affect the accuracy of financial information and business decision-making.Contribution: This community service program aimed to strengthen the digital financial literacy of BUMDes managers and introduce perpetual inventory recording through a Microsoft Excel-based template. The program also supported managers in identifying production-cost components and developing more accurate pricing decisions for maggot pellet products.Method: The program was conducted over four months in 2026 and involved five BUMDes managers. The activities included a needs assessment, development of a Microsoft Excel template, education on digital financial literacy and fraud prevention, training in recording purchase and sales transactions, simulations of stock cards and production-cost calculations, and evaluation through observation and practical assignments. Because no pre-test or post-test was administered, the outcomes were reported descriptively by comparing conditions before and after the mentoring program.Results: The participants were able to simulate transaction entries in Microsoft Excel, interpret changes in inventory balances, and prepare more structured production-cost estimates. The initial production cost of maggot pellets, calculated based on material and energy costs, was IDR 7,452/kg. After simulated allocations for labor, equipment depreciation, packaging, marketing, and transportation were included, the estimated full production cost increased to IDR 11,252/kg. At a selling price of IDR 12,000/kg, the estimated operating margin was only approximately 6.23%, indicating the need to reassess production scale, cost efficiency, and selling prices.Conclusion: The program improved participants’ ability to perform simulated digital financial recording, monitor inventory balances, and calculate production costs more systematically. However, the perpetual inventory method remained at the practice stage and had not yet been routinely implemented in daily operations. Further mentoring is therefore required to ensure consistent use of the template and to enable the resulting data to support BUMDes managerial decision-making

Background: Environmental security is essential for residential safety and quality of life. In RW 10, Kp. Ciganitri, Lengkong Village, Bojongsoang District, Bandung Regency, the existing conventional surveillance system has several blind spots, contributing to several theft incidents and estimated economic losses of approximately IDR 35,000,000. This community service program aims to strengthen community-based environmental security by integrating digital technology and citizen empowerment. Contribution: This program contributes to the community by strengthening environmental security, enhancing residents’ capacity to manage digital security technology, and fostering active community participation. Method: A participatory and collaborative approach was adopted involving residents and RW administrators. The program included blind-spot mapping, CCTV installation at strategic locations, integration of a remote monitoring system, preparation of standard operating procedures (SOPs), resident training, the establishment of a community security monitoring group, followed by monitoring and evaluation. Results: Four outdoor IP CCTV units were installed at strategic points (main gate, main road, and parking area) with standalone local storage, cloud backup, and real-time remote monitoring via a mobile application. A community security monitoring group was formed and residents were trained in system operation and incident reporting. A satisfaction survey of 20 residents showed that 100% agreed or strongly agreed that the program met community needs, was well implemented, and should be continued.. Conclusion: The integration of digitally-based CCTV with community empowerment effectively strengthened environmental security in RW 10, closing surveillance blind spots and increasing residents' sense of safety, while supporting SDG 9 and SDG 11 and providing a replicable model for other community-based digital security initiatives.
