Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the simultaneous and partial effects of number of tourist, investment, dan average length of schooling on the open unemployment rate in the Bali Province regencies/cities. This research was conducted in nine regencies/cities in Bali Province. The data used is secondary data obtained from the Bali Province Central Bureau of Statistics and Bali Province Department of Tourism from 2017-2021. The number of samples in this study was 45. Data collection was carried through non-participant observation. The analysis technique used is panel data regression. Based on the result of the study it was found that the number of tourist, investment, and average length of schooling have a simultaneous effect on the open unemployment rate. The number of tourist has a negative and significant effect on open unemployment rate. Investment has a positive and insignificant effect on open unemployment rate. The average length of schooling has a positive and significant effect on open unemployment rate.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of the contribution of the tourism sector and investment on economic growth with local revenue (PAD) as the interventing variable. This research was conducted in Badung Regency during the period 2013-2020. This data is secondary time series data with seven years of observational data using participant observation data collection method. The data were analyzed using the SEM-PLS technique. The results this study indicate that the contribution of the tourism sector has a positive effect on economic growth. Investment has a positive effect on economic growth. The contribution of the tourism sector has a positive effect on PAD. Investment has positive effect on PAD. PAD has positive effect on economic growth. PAD is able to intervening variable of the contribution of the tourism sector to economic growth. PAD is not able to be an interventing variable of the effect of investment on economic growth.

Abstract

On the island of Bali, Badung Regency is the district with the highest PAD contribution, which is reliant on the tourism industry. However, the COVID-19 pandemic that struck in 2020–2021 caused a decline in Badung Regency's economy, necessitating the development of fresh strategies to stimulate the sector. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to identify the variables that will affect PAD Badung Regency between 2006 and 2021. Secondary data in the form of time series data is the type of data used in this study. Multiple linear analysis is the method of data analysis employed. According to the study's findings, PAD Badung Regency is partially impacted by the number of tourists and the population in the productive age group. The PAD of the Badung Regency, however, is not significantly impacted by hotel occupancy rates or BPHTB. The research has implications for the government's ability to continue maintaining quality and managing the tourism sector in Badung Regency optimally so that domestic tourists continue to visit the region. This research is consistent with the PAD theory that local taxes and the tourism sector are the highest contributors to Badung Regency's PAD. Abstract

The efficiency analysis of salak gula pasir production input in Sibetan Village Karangasem aims to analyze the influence of the number of trees, capital, and labor on the production of salak gula pasir and to analyze the efficiency of using each production input. The research was conducted in Sibetan Village with a sample of 79 salak farmers. The samples were taken using stratified random sampling. Data were collected using a questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study show that the number of trees, capital, and labor have a significant simultaneous effect on the production of salak gula pasir. The number of trees and labor have a positive and significant partial effect on the production of salak gula pasir. Capital has a positive but insignificant effect on the production of salak gula pasir. The efficiency analysis of production input shows that the use of the number of trees and capital is not yet efficient, while the use of labor input is used inefficiently. Abstract

The city of Kupang is a city located in the province of East Nusa Tenggara and is the capital of the province of NTT. In addition, the city of Kupang is also a student city in NTT, so this indicates that the population density in the city of Kupang is increasing every year and resulting in increased economic activity. and this condition encourages increased waste production in Kupang City. The purpose of this research is to explain the implementation of Green Economy for Sustainable Development in Kupang City and also to explain how the people of Kupang City understand waste as a public issue. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method. Abstract

Lalanglinggah Village is a tourist village located in the Selemadeg Barat District, Tabanan Regency. The agricultural sector dominates the livelihood of the residents of Lalanglinggah Village. The percentage of female labor force participation in this sector is the highest compared to male labor force participation. The high participation of female workers provides an insight and understanding that the majority of women in Indonesia (especially in rural areas) are driven to enter the labor market due to family economic pressures. Based on the phenomenon described, the purpose of this research is to determine the simultaneous and partial influence of age, education, husband's income, and the number of dependents on the participation of female workers in the informal sector in Lalanglinggah Village. In this research, the sample consists of 85 female workers, selected using accidental sampling method. This research employs inferential analysis techniques, specifically multiple linear regression analysis, with the assistance of SPSS software. The results obtained show that age, education, husband's income, and the number of dependents simultaneously have a significant influence on the participation of female workers in the informal sector in Lalanglinggah Village. Partially, the variables of age, education, and the number of dependents have a positive and significant impact, while the husband's income variable has a negative and significant impact. keyword: Informal workers, Age, Education, Husband's income, Number of dependents

Abstract

The high export of coffee commodities from Indonesia has made a major contribution to the world as a coffee supplier. This study aims to analyze the effect of coffee prices, the rupiah exchange rate and production have a simultaneous effect on Indonesia's coffee exports during 2001-2020. To analyze the effect of coffee prices, the rupiah exchange rate and production partially on Indonesian coffee exports during 2001-2020. The number of samples is 20 observations. The data collection method used in this study is to use non-behavior observation methods. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study found that prices, exchange rates and production simultaneously had a significant effect on coffee exports in Indonesia. Price, rupiah exchange rate and production have a positive and significant effect on coffee exports in Indonesia. The variable that has the dominant influence on coffee exports in Indonesia is price.

Abstract

Penggunaan alat kontrasepsi merupakan salah satu upaya utama pemerintah menekan angka kelahiran. Tujuan penelitian ini menganalisis pengaruh umur, tingkat pendidikan wanita, pendapatan keluarga, jumlah anak, dan ketersediaan KIE secara simultan dan parsial terhadap keputusan wanita menikah dalam memilih metode kontrasepsi di Denpasar, serta untuk mengetahui pengaruh yang dominan. Jumlah sampel yang diambil sebanyak 100 orang wanita menikah yang menggunakan alat kontrasepsi dengan teknik pengambilan sampel secara Purposive Sampling. Data dianalisis dengan teknik analisis regresi logistik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa umur, tingkat pendidikan, pendapatan keluarga, jumlah anak, dan ketersediaan KIE berpengaruh secara simultan dan signifikan terhadap pemilihan metode kontrasepsi di Denpasar. Secara parsial, umur, tingkat pendidikan, pendapatan keluarga, jumlah anak, dan ketersediaan KIE berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap probabilitas penggunaan alat kontrasepsi di Denpasar.
