Abstract

This community service program aims to improve digital literacy and cybersecurity awareness among vocational high school students at SMK Plus Krida Utama Padalarang. The increasing threat of cybercrimes such as phishing, hacking, malware, and cyberbullying poses significant risks to students who are often active but underprepared digital users. Through interactive workshops, real-life case studies, and quizzes, the program successfully enhanced students’ understanding of cyber threats and prevention strategies. The sessions focused on practical steps like using strong passwords, recognizing suspicious links, managing online privacy, and practicing safe digital behavior. Evaluation results indicated increased student engagement and awareness, demonstrating the importance of early cybersecurity education. The outcomes suggest that structured and relatable digital safety training is effective in building resilience against cybercrime among young users.

Abstract

This Community Service Program (PKM) aims to improve the skills of students at SMP Negeri 10 Cimahi in using Microsoft Word for academic writing purposes. According to reports from the school, many students face difficulties in understanding the functions and usage of word processing software, particularly in composing scientific papers. The activity was conducted over three days through hands-on practical sessions in the school’s computer laboratory, utilizing pre-prepared academic writing templates. The results showed significant improvement in students' technical abilities, although several challenges were encountered, such as lack of basic knowledge about computer hardware and the use of outdated versions of Microsoft Word. The program not only enhanced students' practical skills but also fostered their interest in technology and boosted their confidence in completing academic assignments. It is hoped that similar programs can be implemented more widely to support technology-based learning at the basic education level.

Abstract

Digital transformation in higher education is a strategic necessity in facing the era of Society 5.0, which requires the integration of advanced technology with human-centered values. This study aims to formulate a contextual and adaptive digital transformation strategy through a literature review and conceptual analysis, using the TOE (Technology, Organization, Environment) framework. Data were collected from national and international journals, academic books, and policy documents related to higher education and digital society. The findings reveal that the success of digital transformation is determined by three key dimensions: (1) technology, which includes IT infrastructure, academic information systems, and digital learning platforms; (2) organization, which involves visionary leadership, innovative culture, and digital competencies of human resources; and (3) environment, which encompasses government policies, financial support, and strategic partnerships. The literature synthesis results in a digital transformation strategy model that is adaptive and tailored to the specific context of each institution. A practical implementation is demonstrated through the use of the Learning Management System (LMS) at STMIK IM Perguruan Tinggi Indonesia Mandiri, reflecting the institution’s readiness for the Society 5.0 era. This study is expected to serve as an initial reference for higher education institutions in formulating sustainable, inclusive, and competitive digitalization policies.

Abstract

Enhancing the competence of Vocational High School students in the field of information technology is a primary priority to address the challenges of Industry 4.0 and the demands of the business and industrial world. Computer Troubleshooting Training is designed to bridge the gap between theoretical mastery in the classroom and students' practical skills in handling various technical issues with computer devices. The primary challenge faced by students is a lack of understanding regarding systematic diagnostic methodologies, which frequently leads to human error during the repair process. This training employs a combination of interactive lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on laboratory sessions. The training modules encompass hardware failure identification and software optimization. The expected outcome of this activity is an increase in students' technical independence and their readiness for job traning. By mastering methodical troubleshooting techniques, students are expected to provide efficient, rapid, and accurate technical solutions within a professional work environment.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to provide training on utilizing smartphones for digital marketing to 70 students of SMK Negeri 3 Cimahi through introducing basic concepts, Shopee features, and practical sessions on creating online stores. The training was conducted on August 23, 2022, using methods of counseling, demonstration, and hands-on practice with participants' smartphones. Results showed high enthusiasm among participants, who successfully understood the material and created their own Shopee stores, thereby enhancing digital entrepreneurship skills in the industry 4.0 era.
