The use of a male contraceptive method was 4.7 percent and decreased from 5.4 percent in the result of Indonesia Demographic and Health Survey 2007. This study aimedto find out the factors related to the participation of males in family planning program. The design of this study using cross sectional approach implemented in Clinic A in April-July 2017 by using questionnaires. Sample in this research were married men who came to BPM A which were 89 participants. This study used univariate and bivariate analysis. The results showed that minority of respondents who participated in family planning program which was equal to 18.0% and who did not participate was 82.0%. From the results obtained, education factor (p=0,002), number of children (p=0,348), knowledge (p=0,000), social culture (p=0,000) and support ofspouse (p=0,000). Conclusion from this research, there was a significant relationship between education, knowledge, socioculture and support of spouse with male participation in family planning, and there was no relationship between number of children and male participation in family planning. Anemia is a medical condition in which the hemoglobin level is less than normal. Hormone levels of Hb in adolescent girls are> 12 gr / dl. Young women are said to be anemic if Hb levels <12 g / dl. This research was analytic descriptive by using cross sectional study design using primary data, and using random sampling that is simple random technique, the sample in this research is female teenager withnumber 88 people in SMAN 2 Jambi City 2017 in june 2017. Abstract

The tend of decreasing groundwater quality recently becomes obvious due to increasing population, urbanization, industrialization and uses of chemicals in agricultural region that influences to a decrease in human health. Most studies of groundwater pollution solely concern to contaminant itself applying chemical parameters, while natural isotope tools is rarely applied. However, isotope methods can be utilized as an addition of chemical parameters to get more comprehensive information such as to define a source of among contaminant sources, geochemical reaction and microbial processes occurring in subsurface. The assessments of groundwater susceptibility toward contamination suffered in surface water can also be conducted through isotope approaches. It is necessary when developing, managing, exploiting and protecting these groundwater reservoir. Isotope of 15 N, for example, can distinguish the source of nitrate contamination in groundwater if it comes from manure, soil or NH 4 NO 3 synthetic fertilizers. Denitrification process can also be recognized by combination of 15 N and 18 O isotopes in remaining nitrates. Isotopes of 34 S and 18 O in sulfates dissolved in groundwater can be used for tracing sea water intrusion, terrestrial evaporate dissolution, atmospheric contribution inherited from fossil fuels, leachate infiltration and sediment sulfide mixture.

Abstract

Background: Exclusive breastfeeding is only breastfeeding without additional fluid and other food before reaching the age of 6 months. The Indonesian government has established a program on the importance of exclusive breastfeeding from birth to the age of 6 months. However, every year the feeding formula is increasing. As in the Puskesmas Gamping II working area, the coverage of breastfed babies is still quite low at 56.59%. The coverage of exclusive breastfeeding has not reached the target determined by the Indonesian government. Aim: To determine the differences between the weight of more than six month old infants according to the giving of exclusive breastfeeding and non exclusive breastfeeding in the working area of Puskesmas Gamping II Sleman Health Center. Research Methods: This research method uses Survey research. The approach in this study uses a Retrospective approach. The sample is taken using Simple Random Sampling technique. The sample in this study includes 102 infants, 51 exclusive breastfeeding infants and 51 exclusive non-exclusive infants. Data analysis uses Paired T-Test and Independent T-Test. Results: The average increase in infant weight in exclusive breastfeeding and non-exclusive breastfeeding groups was p-value in the post test (p = .000> 0.05), which means there is a difference in the increase in weight of babies who are given non-exclusive breastfeeding. Conclusions and Suggestions: There is a significant difference in the weight gain of infants who are given exclusive breastfeeding or those who are non- exclusively. It is expected that health workers can improve health education in order to achieve maximum exclusive breastfeeding coverage.
