Abstract

From time to time, the amount of zakat, infaq, and sadaqah collected increases. Due to the fact that the collection of zakat, infaq, and sadaqah has not yet reached its full potential, it is crucial to study Muzakki's behavior on the fintech platform. This study expands on prior research by introducing new variables based on knowledge of internal and external factors. This study employed a qualitative approach. Nine samples were obtained through Muzakki from individuals who had paid zakat, infaq, and sadaqah through the fintech platform. This study's data analysis involved data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. According to research, Muzakkis have diverse motivations for selecting fintech platforms as payment methods for zakat, infaq, and sadaqah. They cited internal considerations as the primary reason for selecting the QRIS and CoopLink fintech platforms as zakat, infaq, and sadaqah payment platforms. Then, external factors are influenced by the workgroup that an individual joins and the surrounding environment. Regardless of the diversity of motivational factors in this study, all informants felt the same way when using the fintech platform to pay zakat, infaq, and sadaqah: curiosity and ease. And based on the findings of this study, it is possible to conclude that the selection of the appropriate payment method can influence the collection of zakat, infaq, and sadaqah.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the mechanism of productive zakat management. The approach in this research is qualitative with a descriptive method. Thus, this research is expected to be able to contribute to finding professional zakat management solutions in Indonesia. The results of the study describe that to achieve the empowerment of productive zakat management, four things are needed. First; zakat management planning, includes 1) institutional strategic planning, taking into account, among others, the following: the results to be achieved, what will be done, time, priority scale, and capital. 2). Planning of institutional goals to give birth to the vision and mission of a zakat institution/organization. Second; the organization of zakat management, taking into account: the existence of goals to be achieved, the determination and grouping of work, the authority and responsibility, the relationship with each other, and the determination of the people who will carry out the work or tasks assigned to them. Third; implementation in the collection and distribution of zakat. There are three strategies in the implementation of zakat collection, namely: the formation of a zakat collection unit, opening a zakat receiving counter, and opening a bank. As for the implementation of productive zakat distribution, it can be categorized in several ways, namely: conventional productive and creative production. Fourth; Supervision of zakat management. This process is to ensure that organizational and management objectives are achieved. Abstract

The modern halal industry is not just associated with the food industry, but also with the tourism sector. In light of Islamic Financial Institutions, the objective of this study is to identify solutions for advancing waqf-based halal tourist development.  This study employs a qualitative methodology based on the Analytic Networking Process (ANP). Academics, practitioners, and regulators in the fields of halal tourism and waqf served as this study's expert informants. The primary obstacle to the growth of waqf-based halal tourism in Islamic financial institutions is the issue of innovation in Islamic financial products, namely innovation in funding goods derived from productive waqf. Access to Islamic finance through simplified administrative procedures for halal tourist MSMEs is the most effective answer to this challenge. The research findings have led to the creation of laws by the Indonesian Waqf Board and the OJK for Islamic financial institutions in Indonesia. The rule would include particular contracts for funding items for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the halal tourist industry, as well as funding sources from waqf income. This study focuses exclusively on the halal tourist industry within the context of waqf-based development by Islamic financial institutions.
