Abstract

One of the most beneficial teachings for others and the reward will always flow is the provision of places for the benefit of society in general, such as wells, roads, places of worship and so forth. As long as the objects taken benefit still and can be exploited by others, then the perpetrators will always get a reward from the Mercy or who is now better known with the teachings of waqf. Since humans are social beings, it is natural that a problem is solved together. Certain needs are sought to be fulfilled on their own and when it is impossible, the solution is done by others or together, or by those with a high social sense. The cash waqf movement is an extraordinary asset of Muslims if it is managed and developed professionally. This movement should begin immediately without considering anything else that is not a principle. Wakaf cash movement will be more powerful when coupled with the movement of zakah mal.

Abstract

This study is aimed at determining the advantages and disadvantages as well as future improvements to maximize the objectives of Kampung Zakat program. The qualitative method was adopted involving 35 informants and the data collection methods include observation, interviews, FGD, and open questionnaires. Data were analyzed using the stages in the analysis qualitative technique of Miles and Huberman. The results showed that the implementation of community development based on Kampung Zakat was not carried out according to plan. Therefore, Kampung Zakat development model must pay attention to the needs of the community, should not be limited to a single activity, and relies solely on the synergy between the community, government, BAZNAS, and stakeholders. The result implies that building a community is not an easy task and cannot be accomplished in a short time. Kampung Zakat program, whose primary objective is to build a community based on the potential of zakat, infak, alms, and waqf, has not been able to materialize. At least some parties contribute to the failure of this program, and its continuation requires synergy from various stakeholders or partners of Kampung Zakat. The presence of a leader or person with initiative is also very important. The significance of this research is as an evaluative resource for the Zakat Village Program's stakeholder program's enhancement programs.

Abstract

This study aimed to create a map of the evolution of waqf management research in indexed journals. This study analyzed keywords, topics, journals, and authors that were published in the Scopus database. This study focuses on a journal published between 2016 and 2021. This year was chosen because waqf management research has continued to advance since 2016. In addition, the scope of this study is restricted to three disciplines: social finance; economics, econometrics, and finance; and business, management, and accounting. There were a total of 93 articles that matched the year and topic criteria. Utilizing the Vosviewer application, the data is processed to determine the bibliometric mapping associated with the advancement of Waqf Management research. As indicated by the findings, the study's focus on waqf management has continued to evolve over the past six years. According to the results of the bibliometric analysis, the Waqf Management theme generates five clusters. Cluster 1 includes 15 topics. Cluster 2 includes 6 issues. Cluster 3 includes 4 issues. And Cluster 9 includes 2 issues. This study also demonstrates the need for further research on Waqf Management as a result of the proliferation of contemporary waqf products resulting from the development of waqf studies. This is necessary to preserve the integrity of the waqf and the management of waqf assets so that they remain within the sharia corridor. Since there isn't a clear way to tell if the performance of waqf institutions has gone up or down, one of the most important areas of research is the creation of performance criteria for waqf institutions.
