Abstract

The speed of technological development and dynamic market changes have encouraged companies to continue to innovate to maintain their competitiveness. This research aims to examine the role of operational innovation to achieve a company's competitive advantage in the operational management concept. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The research results show that the implementation of operational innovation by focusing on the introduction of new ideas, integration of solutions with existing processes, and gradual change management has a positive impact on organizational performance. Involving team members in identifying obstacles and finding solutions as well as tracking progress by setting performance benchmarks and KPIs has proven to be effective. By adopting this strategy, organizations can improve operational efficiency, respond quickly to market changes, and create a strong foundation for sustainable growth, making a positive contribution to competitiveness and long-term sustainability.

Abstract

Green marketing is a marketing approach that focuses on environmentally friendly products and services, and places emphasis on sustainable values. Consumers who are increasingly concerned about environmental issues are the main target in implementing this strategy. This research aims to explore and analyze the effectiveness of green marketing strategies in attracting consumers who care about the environment. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The research results show that green marketing strategies have a positive impact in attracting consumers who care about the environment. A thorough analysis of the implementation of green marketing strategies by successful companies shows that information transparency, collaboration with environmental organizations and educational campaigns are key factors influencing the effectiveness of these strategies. Companies that consistently provide detailed information about product composition, production methods and environmental impacts are successful in building credibility and consumer trust. Collaboration with leading environmental organizations has also proven to be a strategic step to access consumer markets that are more sensitive to environmental issues. Educational campaigns that successfully communicate the benefits of sustainable products and encourage customer participation in environmental efforts have also proven effective in increasing awareness and improving customer relationships.

Abstract

Market dynamics in the agribusiness sector require an innovative and adaptive approach so that business actors can remain competitive and sustainable. This research aims to investigate and analyze agribusiness development strategies through product diversification as an effort to deal with dynamic markets. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The research results show that the agribusiness development strategy through product diversification is able to have a positive impact. Careful market analysis enables the identification of potential products that match consumer needs and available resources. Encouragement of innovation and following the latest research helps improve product quality, while partnerships with related industry players support wider market access. Effective marketing, with a deep understanding of the added value of products and the use of attractive branding, is the key to increasing product appeal in a dynamic market. Overall, agribusiness diversification strategies are proven to provide growth and sustainability opportunities, help agribusinesses overcome market challenges, and improve their competitive position in the agricultural industry.

Abstract

This research discusses the relationship between monetary policy and economic growth in developing countries with a focus on effective monetary policy strategies. The main aim of this research is to increase economic growth to improve community welfare and overcome social issues such as unemployment and poverty. The study also highlights the importance of global competitiveness, macroeconomic stability, investment in infrastructure development, education, and health services. In this context, monetary policies that support economic growth are identified as key to achieving this goal. This research uses regression analysis with economic data from developing countries to measure the relationship between monetary policy variables and economic growth. The research results show that reducing interest rates and adequate credit availability can stimulate investment, consumption and growth in the MSME sector. However, the research also highlights the complexity of translating these findings into real policy, requiring coordination between monetary, fiscal policies and a deep understanding of local social and political dynamics.

Abstract

Climate change is a serious global challenge with significant impacts on economic sectors around the world. This article explains the impact of climate change on the agriculture, fisheries, industry, tourism, health and infrastructure sectors. Extreme weather changes, rising sea temperatures, and irregular rainfall patterns threaten global food security, reduce fish catches, affect industrial production, damage tourism destinations, cause the spread of vector-borne diseases, and damage infrastructure. This research uses qualitative methods based on descriptive studies with literature research. This article also discusses mitigation and adaptation efforts, including the development of green technology, sustainable fisheries management, environmental protection, and investment in disaster-resilient health systems and infrastructure. The importance of international cooperation and smart investments in tackling climate change is highlighted to build sustainable global economic resilience.

Abstract

This research aims to determine whether the receivables turnover ratio (X1) and the current assets turnover ratio (X2) either partially or simultaneously have a significant effect on the profitability of own capital at PT. Alfa Scorpii Sibolga. The data analysis methods used are classical assumption testing, multiple linear regression analysis and hypothesis testing. The data used in this research is secondary data, by collecting PT financial reports. Alfa Scorpii Sibolga which consists of a balance sheet and profit and loss report for 2018 to 2022. The sample used in this research is a financial report in the form of a balance sheet and profit and loss report of PT. Alfa Scorpii Sibolga 2018 - 2022. The results of the F test, obtained a calculated F value of 0.420 with a significant level of 0.704, meaning that simultaneously (simultaneously) the receivables turnover ratio and the current assets turnover ratio have an insignificant effect on the profitability of own capital. Partial t test results shows the level of significance obtained from the independent variables, namely the receivables turnover ratio of -0.900 and the ratio of current assets turnover to own capital profitability of 0.463. This shows that the receivables turnover ratio has an insignificant negative effect and the current assets turnover ratio has an insignificant positive effect on the profitability of own capital. Based on the research results, the researcher suggests that investors should pay attention to the value of the receivables turnover ratio and current assets turnover ratio before making a decision to invest, and companies should pay attention to the management of receivables and current assets by paying attention to the receivables turnover ratio and current assets turnover ratio to make it more effective and efficient so as to achieve maximum profits.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to ascertain whether PT. Alfa Scorpii Sibolga's economic profitability is significantly impacted, partially and concurrently, by the inventory turnover ratio (X1) and total asset turnover ratio (X2). Multiple linear regression analysis, hypothesis testing, and classical assumption testing are the data analytic techniques used. By gathering PT financial reports, secondary data was obtained for this study. Alfa Scorpii Sibolga, comprising a profit and loss statement and balance sheet for the years 2018 through 2022. The balance sheet and profit and loss report of PT. Alfa Scorpii Sibolga for the years 2018 through 2022 served as the research sample. The inventory turnover ratio and total asset turnover ratio both had an insignificant impact on economic profitability concurrently, according to the F test results, which had a F value of 0.390 at a significance level of 0.719. The results of the partial t test demonstrate the degree of significance that was determined by the independent variables, which are the total asset turnover ratio (0.874) and the inventory turnover ratio (-0.823). This demonstrates that the total asset turnover ratio has a negligible positive impact on economic profitability and the inventory turnover ratio has an insignificant negative impact. Based on the study's findings, the researcher recommends that before making an investment, investors consider the value of the inventory turnover ratio and total asset turnover ratio. Additionally, businesses should focus on inventory and total asset management by analysing the inventory turnover ratio and total asset turnover ratio to increase productivity and profitability.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the effect of inventory turnover and current asset turnover on economic profitability at UD. Rambe, Sitahuis District, Central Tapanuli Regency by drawing the hypothesis that there is an influence of inventory turnover and current asset turnover on economic profitability at UD. Rambe, Sitahuis District, Central Tapanuli Regency. The research results show that there is a positive relationship between inventory turnover and economic profitability and current asset turnover and economic profitability at UD. Rambe, Sitahuis District, Central Tapanuli Regency is 0.958 and 0.858 respectively, so that when interpreted on a value scale it can be categorized as very strong. The regression equation obtained is Y = -0.973 + 0.412X + 0.070X2 which shows the influence of inventory turnover and current asset turnover on economic profitability. The t test shows that the hypothesis proposed is rejected as true, where the t count is 2.141 > 3.18245 for inventory turnover and the t count is 0.206 < 3.18245 for current asset turnover, where both ratios have a positive effect on economic profitability which is not significant, which means it is not certain increases by the respective regression coefficient/slop of 0.412 and 0.070 if the inventory turnover and current asset turnover variables are increased by one unit. Meanwhile, the coefficient of determination shows that inventory turnover and current asset turnover only play a role of 92% in UD's economic profitability. Rambe, Sitahuis District, Central Tapanuli Regency and the remaining 8% is influenced by other factors not included in the model.

Abstract

This research explores innovation in financial management as an effort to improve organizational performance. In the context of increasingly tight business competition, innovation is not only applied to products or services, but also in management systems and processes, including financial management. This research aims to identify the opportunities and challenges offered by financial innovation, such as financial technology (fintech), big data analytics and business process automation. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The research results show that innovation in financial management can have a positive impact on organizational performance. The integration of financial technology, the use of big data, and the automation of financial processes effectively improve operational efficiency, enable more timely decision making based on data, and optimize the use of resources. Although challenges such as initial investment costs and employee resistance to change may arise, effective communication and proper training can overcome these obstacles, ensuring successful adoption of the innovation. Thus, research confirms the importance of integrating innovation in financial management as a strategy to improve organizational performance and competitiveness in an ever-changing business environment.

Abstract

There are various factors that can influence the decision to visit, such as price, facilities and location. However, research results reveal inconsistent results, so this research aims to reexamine factors such as price, facilities and location that can influence visiting decisions, especially in the context of cafes. This research was conducted at the zero-point cafe, Tanah Tinggi subdistrict, Ternate City. The population in this study was all visitors to the zero-point cafe, however the sample only involved consumers who had visited at least two, totaling 126 respondents. Data collection uses surveys with questionnaires. Furthermore, hypothesis testing in this research uses PLS – SEM. The test results revealed that of the three hypotheses proposed, only the hypothesis that tested the influence between price and visiting decisions was accepted in the cafe context in this research. Furthermore, in the final section there will be a discussion of the findings and conclusions.
