Abstract

This study aims to analyze the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in promoting creative economy products in Central Java's tourist areas, particularly through social media. In today's digital era, developments in information and communication technology, including artificial intelligence, have opened up new opportunities for more efficient, personalized, and data-driven marketing strategies. Creative economy products such as batik, handicrafts, and local culinary delights can gain broader exposure through innovative digital promotional approaches. However, Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Central Java's tourist areas, such as Jatirejo Village in Semarang, known for its palm fruit (kolang-kaling), still face various challenges in adopting this technology. This study used a descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with MSMEs, field observations, and documentation related to their digital promotional activities. The results indicate that limited human resources, lack of digital literacy, minimal understanding of the concept and application of AI, and inadequate technological infrastructure are the main obstacles in implementing AI for promoting creative economy products. However, this study also identified significant opportunities for optimizing AI implementation. These opportunities include training and mentoring for MSMEs, collaboration between the government, academia, and the private sector, and the development of equitable digital infrastructure. This study provides strategic recommendations to enhance MSME competitiveness in the digital era and strengthen synergies between technology and the creative economy. These findings are expected to serve as an important reference for policymakers and businesses in formulating adaptive and sustainable AI-based promotional strategies.

Abstract

Cuanki is a Bandung specialty dish originally derived from the Tim Sam (dim sum) trademark with a sauce known as Bakso Tahu Kuah Choan Kie—where “Choan Kie” in Hokkien means “luck.” One business actor engaged in this sector is Cuanki Asep Pride, located in Jagabaya Village, Cimaung District, Bandung Regency. This business is a home industry that experienced fluctuating sales from 2009 to 2024, with the most significant decline occurring in 2020 due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. This sales instability demonstrates the importance of an appropriate marketing strategy to create value and build long-term relationships with customers. This study aims to identify internal and external factors that influence Cuanki Asep Pride's business, as well as formulate a marketing strategy based on a SWOT analysis. The method used is a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the SWOT analysis indicate that the business is in quadrant I of the SWOT matrix, which means the company has significant strengths and opportunities that can be maximized. The recommended strategy is a growth-oriented strategy, which includes: improving product quality, more targeted promotions, providing promotional tools such as social media, strengthening competitiveness through product uniqueness, digitizing business processes, utilizing digital platforms for sales, and controlling prices to increase consumer purchasing power. This strategy is expected to help expand market reach and increase sales volume sustainably.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of inventory turnover on changes in net profit at PT Hanjaya Mandala Sampoerna Tbk during the period 2016–2024. PT Hanjaya Mandala Sampoerna Tbk is one of the major companies involved in the cigarette industry in Indonesia, which faces significant challenges in managing inventory and maximizing profitability. This study uses a quantitative approach with a simple linear regression analysis method to examine the relationship between inventory turnover and changes in the company's net profit. The data used in this study are secondary data obtained from the company's quarterly financial reports, which are accessed through the official website of the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The analysis results show that inventory turnover has a significant influence on changes in the company's net profit. The adjusted R square value of 21.65 percent indicates that inventory turnover can explain part of the variability in changes in net profit. This means that efficient inventory turnover can be an important factor in determining a company's profitability. In addition, the F significance value of 0.0042 indicates that the regression model used is statistically significant, which means the relationship between inventory turnover and net profit does not occur by chance. The positive relationship between the variables indicates that the higher the efficiency of inventory turnover, the company's net profit tends to increase. These findings underscore the importance of effective inventory management in improving company profitability, particularly amidst the ever-changing challenges of the cigarette industry. Therefore, inventory turnover can be used as a managerial indicator to assess a company's operational effectiveness and as a reference for strategic decision-making to maintain long-term profit stability and enhance market competitiveness.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the influence of free cash flow and operating cash flow on dividend policy through profitability as an intervening variable. This study used a sample of 22 food and beverage manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), which consistently published annual reports and distributed dividends from 2021 to 2023. The study used a quantitative approach, using multiple linear regression and path analysis to test the proposed hypotheses. The analysis results indicate that, partially, operating cash flow and profitability exhibit a positive and significant influence on dividend policy, while free cash flow has no significant influence on dividend policy. Furthermore, free cash flow and operating cash flow individually have no effect on profitability. Based on the path analysis, profitability is found to act as a mediating variable in the relationship between free cash flow and operating cash flow on dividend policy

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of Liquidity, Profitability, Leverage, and Dividend Policy on Stock Prices in infrastructure companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period of 2022-2023. This type of research uses statistics with a quantitative approach. Data collection techniques use documentation methods, namely collecting data from the financial statements of companies published through the official IDX website. The sample size in this study consists of 17 infrastructure companies listed on the IDX for the years 2022-2023. Purposive sampling is used as a sampling determination technique with specific criteria, and multiple regression analysis is employed. Data analysis is conducted using the SPSS software version 26. The results of the study show that partially, Liquidity and Dividend Policy have a significant effect on Stock Prices. In contrast, Profitability and Leverage do not have a significant effect. Simultaneously, the four independent variables significantly affect Stock Prices. This finding provides insights for investors and company management in making strategic decisions

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of financial literacy and lifestyle on financial management among university students. The research method used in this study is quantitative. The population in this study were 988 students receiving KIP-Kuliah at universities in Surabaya, the class of 2021. The sample used in this study was 91 students, using a random sampling technique. The data used in this study were primary data, namely by distributing questionnaires. The data analysis technique used in this study was quantitative data analysis using statistical methods. The statistical method used was SmartPLS version 4.0. The results of the study indicate that financial literacy influences the financial management of KIP-Kuliah recipients at universities in Surabaya, class of 2021. Lifestyle has no influence on the financial management of KIP-Kuliah recipients at universities in Surabaya, class of 2021. Both financial literacy and lifestyle simultaneously influence the financial management of KIP-Kuliah recipients at universities in Surabaya, class of 2021

Abstract

Toko Furniture ZADA is a business that heavily relies on the smooth process of purchasing goods from suppliers to maintain stock availability and ensure the operational efficiency of the store. However, the manual purchasing record system has led to several issues, such as the risk of data loss, delayed entries, and errors in report preparation. These issues hinder operational effectiveness and could lead to financial losses. Therefore, this research aims to design a prototype of a purchasing information system that meets the operational needs of Toko Furniture ZADA in a more efficient, accurate, and timely manner. The design of this information system is carried out using a prototyping approach, utilizing Figma as a design tool, which allows for the creation of an interactive system interface that can be directly tested by users. The designed system includes several key features that are essential for the smooth operation of the store. These features include user login for data security, stock management that automatically records incoming and outgoing items, purchasing transaction records that facilitate control and transparency in each purchase transaction, and a reporting system that provides real-time information on stock status and purchase transaction reports with higher accuracy. The results of this study show that the designed information system prototype provides an efficient, accurate, and user-friendly digital solution to replace the existing manual process. The implementation of this system is expected to reduce the risk of data loss, avoid delays in recording, and improve the accuracy of report preparation. Additionally, the system can accelerate the purchasing process and stock management, which in turn will enhance the overall operational effectiveness and efficiency of Toko Furniture ZADA.

Abstract

This study examines the complex socio-economic dynamics resulting from the limited availability of parking space within the premises of PT Adonia Footwear Indonesia. The imbalance between the high number of employee-owned vehicles and the insufficient parking capacity creates challenges that extend beyond spatial limitations, encompassing issues of safety, user behavior, and the adequacy of supporting infrastructure. In the context of a growing workforce and increasing vehicle ownership, the scarcity of parking facilities has become a pressing concern that requires holistic assessment and problem-solving strategies. The research aims to identify not only the conflicts caused by the shortage of employee parking but also the socio-economic opportunities that arise from this condition. A qualitative descriptive method was applied using a case study approach to capture the detailed and contextual realities of the problem. Data were collected through direct observation, semi-structured interviews with employees, company management, and local residents, as well as documentation review. This triangulation of data sources ensured the validity and richness of the findings. The results indicate that the parking shortage has generated friction between employees and residents living near the factory, primarily due to the use of residential areas for overflow parking. Disputes have arisen over blocked access, noise, and security concerns. However, the situation has also fostered new economic activities, particularly the emergence of informal paid parking services managed by local residents, which provide them with additional income. This dual impact highlights the parking issue as both a source of social tension and a driver of community-based microeconomic opportunities. The study concludes that a collaborative approach between the company and surrounding residents offers a viable and sustainable solution. Initiatives such as formal partnerships for managed parking services, infrastructure improvements, and the implementation of employee vehicle management policies could mitigate conflict while enhancing mutual economic benefits.

Abstract

Company value is a key indicator reflecting investor confidence in a firm's future prospects. In the banking sector, which operates under strict regulatory frameworks and high risk exposure, the choice of capital structure and the efficiency of asset utilization are critical factors influencing market valuation. Over the period 2017–2024, fluctuations in the Price to Book Value (PBV), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), and Return on Assets (ROA) among banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) have presented notable dynamics warranting further examination. This study aims to analyze the partial and simultaneous effects of DER and ROA on company value, as measured by PBV, within the banking sub-sector. Employing a quantitative research design, panel data from four banking companies—selected through purposive sampling—were analyzed. The study utilized panel data regression, with the most appropriate model determined via Chow, Hausman, and Lagrange Multiplier tests. Classical assumption testing and descriptive statistical analysis were also conducted to ensure robustness. The findings indicate that ROA has a significant positive impact on company value, demonstrating the importance of profitability in enhancing market valuation. In contrast, DER exhibits a significant negative partial effect, suggesting that higher leverage may erode investor confidence and depress valuation. Simultaneously, DER and ROA jointly exert a significant influence on PBV, confirming that both profitability and capital structure are integral to shaping firm value in the banking sector. The study concludes that profitability plays a dominant role in improving company value, while capital structure must be strategically managed to optimize its contribution to market perception. These results offer practical implications for banking management, highlighting the need to maintain healthy profitability levels while carefully balancing debt usage to achieve sustainable growth in firm value.

Abstract

This study critically examines the phenomenon of hedonistic consumerism among Generation Z through the perspective of ethical consumption in Islam. In the digital era dominated by instant lifestyles, technology, and the massive influence of social media, Generation Z is increasingly exposed to consumerist values oriented towards instant gratification. This phenomenon often contradicts Islamic principles of simplicity, responsibility, justice, and spiritual awareness in shopping and using goods and services. The main objective of this study is to analyze the extent to which the developing hedonistic consumption patterns deviate from Islamic consumption ethics and to explore the factors driving this trend. This study uses a qualitative approach based on literature review, referring to classical Islamic sources, contemporary fatwas, and modern literature on the consumption behavior of the younger generation and Islamic economics. The analysis results indicate a widening gap between Generation Z's consumption behavior and Islamic ethical norms. Influencing factors include social pressure in the digital space, manipulative marketing strategies, low financial literacy, and the commodification of identity that makes consumption a symbol of social status. However, this study also found positive trends that can be used as opportunities for reorientation, such as increasing awareness of halal lifestyles, a growing preference for sustainable products, and the emergence of more ethical marketing strategies based on Islamic values. Thus, Islamic ethical consumption can be revitalized through strengthened education, media involvement, and family guidance, so that Generation Z's consumption behavior can be re-aligned with moral, spiritual, and equitable Islamic economic principles. This study emphasizes the importance of integrating religious awareness with modern consumption practices in an effort to address the challenges of global consumerism.
