Abstract

Aceh’s economy has long been dominated by the oil and gas sector, particularly LNG Arun exports, which contributed more than 40% of regional GDP (GRDP) in the early observation period. However, declining production after 2014 drastically reduced its share to below 20%, and in recent years, to only around 10–12%. This study aims to analyze the contribution of oil and gas (migas) and non-oil and gas (nonmigas) exports to Aceh’s economy and to assess the potential of export diversification as a sustainable development strategy. The research employs a quantitative approach using secondary time series data from 2007–2021 obtained from BPS, Bank Indonesia, and other official sources. Data were analyzed descriptively and through simple econometric models, including OLS regression and cointegration tests. The findings reveal that oil and gas exports are significant in the short term but have weakened in the long term. In contrast, non-oil and gas exports, although relatively small, exhibit stable growth and demonstrate a long-term relationship with GRDP. These results underscore the importance of diversifying exports towards nonmigas commodities, particularly coffee, cocoa, rubber, and fisheries. The practical implication is the urgent need for Aceh’s development strategy to shift from oil and gas dependence towards globally competitive nonmigas industrialization.

Abstract

The phenomenon of employee resignation represents a serious challenge for financing companies, particularly in Samarinda, as evidenced by the recurring recruitment processes for credit marketing positions, which in turn increase operational costs and undermine team stability. This study aims to gain an in-depth understanding of the subjective experiences of employees who have resigned as well as those who remain employed but strongly intend to leave the company. Employing a qualitative phenomenological approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews with seven informants, consisting of five former employees and two active employees. The findings reveal four key factors driving resignation decisions: intense performance pressures and heavy workloads, limited opportunities for career advancement, misalignment with organizational culture, and an imbalance between work and personal life. On the other hand, economic necessity and loyalty to team members serve as retention factors that encourage some employees to remain despite dissatisfaction. These results affirm that resignation decisions are multidimensional, shaped by a complex interplay of internal and external factors that influence employees’ working lives. The study recommends that financing companies foster a healthier organizational culture, provide clear and transparent career development opportunities, and implement policies that support work–life balance in order to reduce turnover, strengthen employee retention, and enhance long-term organizational competitiveness.

Abstract

The rapid growth of e-commerce, particularly through the TikTok Shop platform, has created new dynamics in consumer behavior and presented challenges for businesses in understanding the factors that influence purchase intention, especially among young people who are the most active social media users. This study aims to explore in greater depth the effects of content marketing, endorsement reviews, and customer ratings on purchase intention for Glad2Glow products on TikTok Shop. The research employed a quantitative approach using a survey method involving 180 active students from Universitas Muhadi Setiabudi as respondents. A random sampling technique was applied to ensure the representativeness of the sample, while the research instrument consisted of a questionnaire using a Likert scale ranging from 1 to 10. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression to test the influence of each independent variable on the dependent variable. The findings indicate that, when tested partially, only content marketing had a significant effect on purchase intention, with a significance value of 0.000 (< 0.05), whereas endorsement reviews and customer ratings did not show a significant effect. However, when tested simultaneously, the three variables—content marketing, endorsement reviews, and customer ratings—collectively influenced purchase intention in a significant manner. These results emphasize that content marketing strategies play a crucial role in shaping consumer purchase intention, particularly for local beauty products marketed on interactive digital platforms such as TikTok Shop. The study provides practical implications for businesses to prioritize creative, consistent, and relevant content marketing strategies to enhance product attractiveness and strengthen brand positioning in the competitive beauty industry.

Abstract

The Indonesian herbal medicine industry faces major challenges in building sustainable consumer loyalty amid intense competition with modern health products. The main issue lies in the relatively weak brand image and limited competitiveness in terms of packaging, pricing, and product quality consistency, which have prevented consumer loyalty from being fully achieved. This study aims to analyze the influence of perceived quality and brand awareness on brand loyalty through brand image in the case of Jamu Melydel. The research employed a quantitative approach with a descriptive design. The study population consisted of Jamu Melydel customers, with 202 respondents selected using a non-probability sampling technique. Data were collected through observation, questionnaires, and documentation, and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with AMOS software. The results show that perceived quality has a positive and significant effect on brand image, and brand awareness also has a positive and significant effect on brand image. However, brand image does not significantly affect brand loyalty, while perceived quality also fails to directly influence brand loyalty. In contrast, brand awareness has a positive and significant impact on brand loyalty. Furthermore, brand image does not mediate the relationship between perceived quality or brand awareness and brand loyalty. These findings suggest that brand awareness is the key factor in shaping consumer loyalty toward Jamu Melydel, while brand image and perceived quality remain insufficient to sustain loyalty. The implications of this study highlight the need to strengthen brand awareness strategies, improve brand image, and foster product innovation to enhance the competitiveness of the traditional herbal medicine industry.

Abstract

Although the Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS) has been widely adopted across various retail sectors, its utilization at the local level remains suboptimal, as evidenced in Sarimulya Swalayan Brebes. This study aims to analyze the influence of digital financial literacy, consumer trust, and financial risk behavior on consumers’ interest in conducting transactions using QRIS in the digital era. The research employed a quantitative method with a survey approach involving 139 respondents who were customers of Sarimulya Swalayan. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed through multiple linear regression with the assistance of statistical software. The findings reveal that digital financial literacy, consumer trust, and financial risk behavior each have a significant partial influence on the intention to transact using QRIS, while simultaneously, these three independent variables also significantly affect the dependent variable. The results emphasize that improving digital financial literacy helps consumers better understand the operational mechanisms, benefits, and security aspects of QRIS transactions, thereby reducing uncertainty and hesitation in its usage. Moreover, consumer trust in the system is confirmed as a key determinant in fostering willingness to adopt QRIS, as confidence in the reliability and safety of the service encourages greater acceptance of digital payments. In addition, financial risk behavior plays an essential role in guiding consumers to remain prudent, careful, and rational when utilizing QRIS-based payment services. Overall, this study highlights the importance of strengthening digital financial education, enhancing consumer trust, and managing financial risks as strategic measures to support the adoption and sustainability of QRIS, particularly in the context of local retail.

Abstract

Research on the analysis of individual DPLK membership and its characteristics to increase the penetration of pension funds for workers in the informal sector was conducted using a descriptive qualitative approach with content analysis using questionnaires, interviews, and document studies. The research findings concluded that the individual characteristics of DPLK participants consist of: 1) belonging to the low-income group, 2) the highest contribution paid is Rp. 100,000 per month, 3) contributions may vary each month, 4) retirement age is determined based on financial goals, and 5) the motivation to join the DPLK is due to the lack of a pension program for old age or emergency funds. Currently, the composition of DPLK participants consists of: 20% individual participants (on their own initiative) and 80% corporate participants (enrolled by companies), while of the 560,000 individual DPLK participants, 70% come from the informal sector and 30% come from the formal sector. There are 86.4% of informal workers who have not prepared for retirement funds and 89.4% of informal workers who do not have voluntary pension programs. However, informal workers are interested in DPLK as a program for income continuity in their old age with the support of education and the availability of digital access. In terms of potential, if 25% of current informal workers participate in DPLK with a minimum contribution of IDR 50,000 per month, the potential accumulation of funds will reach IDR 132 trillion over the next 10 years as part of increasing pension fund penetration among informal sector workers.

Abstract

In addition to analyzing the role of discounts as a moderating variable, this study attempts to investigate how consumers' repurchase intentions in Shopee e-commerce Live streaming are impacted by direct marketing and product quality. The study used WarpPLS's path analysis as part of a quantitative methodology. Only 102 of the 112 participants who were active Shopee users with prior experience participating in live streaming sessions satisfied the requirements to be considered legitimate respondents. The results show that repurchase intention is positively and significantly impacted by direct marketing, with a p-value of 0.003 and an influence value of 0.256. Similarly, with a p-value <0.001 and an influence value of 0.401, product quality likewise significantly influences repurchase intention. Additionally, it was discovered that the discount variable strengthened the influence to 0.475 by moderating the association between direct marketing and repurchase intention. On the other hand, the influence value drops to -0.771 when discounts have a negative moderating effect on the link between product quality and repurchase intention. This suggests that offering high-quality products at unreasonably steep discounts may make customers less likely to make additional purchases. By taking into account the balance between promotional offers and product quality, this study gives e-commerce enterprises both theoretical and practical contributions to the creation of efficient promotional tactics, notably through live streaming features.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effects of working capital management, inflation, and interest rates on the financial health of banks in Indonesia during the 2019–2023 period. Employing an associative quantitative approach, the research utilizes panel data from 20 conventional banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The analysis applies the Fixed Effect Model (FEM) as the most appropriate estimator, as determined by the Chow and Hausman tests. The regression results indicate that the Current Ratio exerts a significantly positive influence on CAMEL scores, demonstrating the crucial role of liquidity in strengthening financial health. In contrast, inflation and interest rates have significant negative impacts, suggesting that macroeconomic volatility undermines banking performance. Additional control variables such as firm size, leverage measured by Debt-to-Equity Ratio (DER), and operational efficiency proxied by BOPO also exhibit significant relationships with financial health. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 68.2% implies that the independent variables collectively explain the majority of the variation in the banks’ financial conditions, while the remaining 31.8% is influenced by other external and internal factors not included in the model. These findings highlight the importance of effective liquidity management, prudent leverage, and operational efficiency in maintaining the stability and resilience of the banking sector. Moreover, the results emphasize the need for banks to adopt adaptive strategies to mitigate risks associated with inflationary pressures and interest rate fluctuations. This study provides useful insights for regulators, policymakers, and banking practitioners in formulating strategies to enhance financial stability and ensure sustainable growth in Indonesia’s banking industry.

Abstract

The changing dynamics of organizations in the digital era present challenges in meeting the growing need for effective leadership, particularly in strengthening intrinsic motivation and employee engagement. This study aims to analyze the effect of transformational leadership on employee engagement with intrinsic motivation as a mediator in private and public sector organizations in Indonesia. The research design employed a quantitative cross-sectional survey approach involving 100–150 respondents, with data analysis conducted using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with AMOS. The findings reveal that transformational leadership significantly enhances intrinsic motivation and employee engagement, as well as strengthens their relationship through the mediating effect of intrinsic motivation. However, the study also identified nonsignificant pathways in certain contexts, highlighting the importance of organizational contextual factors. These findings reinforce the relevance of integrating transformational leadership theory and Self-Determination Theory in explaining the psychological mechanisms of human resource development. Practically, this study implies that transformative leadership development strategies oriented toward fulfilling basic psychological needs (autonomy, competence, relatedness) are more effective in fostering emotional involvement, loyalty, and employee productivity. Furthermore, the study emphasizes the importance of designing leadership training programs and human resource management policies that focus on employee empowerment and well-being, rather than solely on organizational targets. The limitations of this research lie in its cross-sectional design and reliance on self-reported data, providing opportunities for future longitudinal and mixed-methods studies to offer a more comprehensive understanding.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the UI of the Ambung Harsa Donation Information System using the Cognitive Walkthrough method. The information system is designed to facilitate the donation process more efficiently, transparently, and accessibly for the public. However, the effectiveness of the interface for new users still requires assessment to ensure interaction with the system is intuitive and minimizes errors. The Cognitive Walkthrough method is selected because it allows a structured evaluation of user interaction, identifies obstacles and difficulties that users may encounter while performing key tasks, and provides specific recommendations for improvement. The study was conducted through several stages: identifying primary user tasks, developing usage scenarios, performing step-by-step evaluation from a new user's perspective, and analyzing the findings. Evaluation results revealed several UI areas needing improvement, including menu navigation, action button placement, instruction clarity, and information display consistency. These findings provide a basis for recommendations to enhance the interface, making it more intuitive, efficient, and user-friendly. Implementing these recommendations is expected to improve user satisfaction, streamline the donation process, and serve as a reference for developing similar information systems in the future. This study highlights the importance of usability evaluation using Cognitive Walkthrough as an integral part of web-based information system development.
