Abstract

Organizational climate plays an important role in shaping employee work behavior, especially in multicultural work environments. This study aims to analyze the effect of organizational climate on Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) in a workplace with a high level of cultural diversity. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected through questionnaires from 60 respondents and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results showed that organizational climate has a positive and significant influence on OCB, which means that the better employees' perception of organizational climate, the higher their tendency to show voluntary behavior that supports the organization. In contrast, the multicultural work environment does not have a significant influence on OCB, which indicates that cultural diversity needs to be managed with the right strategy so that it does not become an obstacle in building cooperation and solidarity between employees. The findings confirm the importance of organizations in creating a conducive work environment with open communication, strong managerial support, and inclusive policies to encourage positive employee behavior. This study provides insights for management practitioners in developing effective strategies to increase productivity and work harmony in a multicultural environment.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine, from a multidisciplinary standpoint, how leadership style affects the severity and settlement of employee conflicts. A questionnaire evaluating leadership style, conflict severity, and conflict resolution techniques was used to gather data from 100 respondents using a quantitative method and a cross-sectional design. Regression analysis results indicated that authoritarian leadership style positively contributed to rising conflict intensity (β = 0.32, p <.01), but transformational leadership style significantly decreased conflict intensity (β = -0.45, p <.001). Furthermore, it was demonstrated that cooperative conflict resolution techniques were successful in lowering stress at work (r = -.56, p <.001). These results demonstrate how crucial flexible and communicative leaders are to fostering a positive and effective workplace. Nevertheless, this study has drawbacks, such as a sample size restricted to a few business sectors and a cross-sectional design that precludes drawing conclusions about causality. It is advised that further study be done to examine how technology use and organizational cultural setting affect dispute resolution.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the extent of the influence of compensation and work environment on employee performance with job satisfaction as an intervening variable. Using primary data obtained through questionnaire collection with a sample of 56 employee respondents. The method used in this study is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis with Partial Least Square (PLS). The results of this study conclude that compensation has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction (t-statistic 2.059 > t-table 1.96; p = 0.044). The work environment also has a significant effect on job satisfaction (t-statistic 3.096 > t-table 1.96; p = 0.003). However, compensation (t-statistic 1.054 < t-table 1.96; p = 0.297) and work environment (t-statistic 0.853 < t-table 1.96; p = 0.397) do not have a significant effect on employee performance. Job satisfaction significantly affects performance (t-statistic 4.617 > t- table 1.96; p = 0.000). The work environment significantly affects performance through job satisfaction (t-statistic 2.227 > t-table 1.96; p = 0.030). 1) That partially, there is a significant positive effect of compensation on job satisfaction and the work environment on job satisfaction. Whereas compensation towards employee performance and work environment towards employee performance are partially positively insignificant. This indicates that partially, there is a positive and significant relationship between job satisfaction and employee performance, job satisfaction does not mediate compensation on employee performance, and job satisfaction mediates the work environment on employee performance.

Abstract

This research investigates how corporate governance determinants influence capital expenditure (Capex) allocation efficiency and long-term financial performance. Addressing the core agency conflict, the study explores whether robust oversight mechanisms can prevent suboptimal investment decisions. Using secondary data from 248 non-financial firms listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2019–2023 period and official reports published by the Financial Services Authority (OJK), investment efficiency was measured using a growth-based residual model. The findings indicate that board independence and audit committee meeting frequency significantly mitigate capital waste, while excessive managerial power exacerbates investment inefficiency. Furthermore, statistical analysis reveals that efficient Capex allocation is a primary driver of Return on Invested Capital (ROIC), explaining 24.5% of its variance. This study contributes to agency and corporate governance literature by empirically demonstrating the mediating role of capital expenditure efficiency in linking governance mechanisms and long-term financial performance within an emerging market context. The results highlight that strengthening board oversight is essential for ensuring strategic investment discipline and optimizing corporate financial sustainability.
