Abstract

The results of the Basic Health Research (RISKESDAS) in 2018 showed that 67.8% of the Indonesian population aged more than 15 years experienced periodontal disease such as periodontitis. The incidence of periodontitis disease can occur and become more severe in the presence of systemic factors such as diabetes mellitus. People with diabetes mellitus experience several health complications caused by increased blood sugar levels, blood vessels, and nerves, including the gums. This can weaken the bone surrounding the teeth and gums, and increase the risk of other oral diseases, such as tooth loss and dental caries caused by the weakening of tooth attachment to the gums and a decrease in the rate of saliva in the mouth. Efforts to prevent the occurrence of periodontal disease and other oral and dental disease infections in patients with diabetes mellitus are by conducting health education and monitoring programs for patients. The goal is to increase knowledge, willingness, awareness, compliance and community participation in maintaining and maintaining dental health independently. The methods used in this service are interviews, observations and the implementation of training and health monitoring for respondents. Based on the results of the activities that have been carried out in the service, the respondents gave a positive response and there was an increase in knowledge, awareness and motivation in maintaining their health

Abstract

Dental and oral health problems are often experienced by children with special needs. Limitations in physical and mental development can affect the process of maintaining dental and oral health. Children with special needs in the disabled group have disorders where their body parts are not perfect because they experience disabilities caused by damage to the bones, muscles, and joints so that they do not function normally. The shortcomings of children with physical impairments require parental assistance in maintaining dental and oral health. Providing counseling and giving pocketbooks to parents is an alternative to strengthening the maintenance of dental and oral health for children with physical impairments. This community service activity was carried out at SLB Jepara on a sample of children with physical impairments. The method used in this activity is the Health system approach, namely: Input – Process – Output. The results of the service carried out showed a decrease in the debris index value in children. The good debris index category after implementation was obtained by all respondents. The dental and oral hygiene pocketbook for parents of physically disabled children is used as a tool to increase parents' knowledge about dental and oral health and hygiene.

Abstract

The use of butterfly pea flowers in society is not yet widely known, so consumption of butterfly pea flowers is still low because many people do not know about the benefits of butterfly pea flowers as an immune booster. So it is necessary to increase the use of butterfly pea flowers so that they are easy to consume, one of which is by processing them into butterfly pea flower tea bags. The aim of carrying out this community service is to teach residents to process butterfly pea flowers into practical tea bags and package them into UMKM products that can provide additional income as a good business idea. The community service method is through lectures, discussions and direct practice. The community service element involves the head of the PKK RT, RW, and health cadres. The direct practice of processing butterfly pea flowers by the community produces results in the form of butterfly pea flower tea bags with attractive packaging and a PIRT business permit. This activity has succeeded in mobilizing residents to process butterfly pea flowers into tea bag products that are ready for consumption and marketing.

Abstract

Data security is an important issue in an organization, proper information security management is a continuous process of building and maintaining programs, policies and controls to protect information. Management must maintain the confidentiality, integrity and availability of patient information in accordance with ISO/IEC 27002 and HIPAA standards. However, health institutions lack processes for data security, so a simple method is needed that can be done by the Radiology installation itself. The method used in this case is to observe the ISO/IEC 27002 and HIPAA references and then make steps that can be implemented. The Radiology Installation can create a simple protocol that can be adhered to to meet existing standards. Protocols that meet the standards that can be fulfilled by Radiology Installations are the categories of authentication, confidentiality, data integrity, non-repudiation and access control.A simple protocol that can be created and implemented is a protocol that discusses access rights, user name, computer usage log book containing a data base, providing a strong password that only the user knows, regular data backup using password encryption, storage location. locked archives, surveillance cameras if possible and computer use for other purposes should be avoided. By creating simple security protocols at the radiology installation level, the radiology team has tried to comply with ISO 27002 and HIPPA.

Abstract

The problem faced by the hospital is one of the medical record units where in the recruitment process of PMIK officers who have not seen candidates who have certified specialized expertise in Casemix-based Health Care System Management is a value. The results of the study showed that the Head of Medical Record Installation has not given priority to graduates who have Casemix-based Healthcare System Management Certification in the financing claims section. The results of this dedication to the community are expected to be able to raise awareness among PMIK professional organizations about the importance of a PMIK to have a specialized training certificate of integrity in Casemix-based Healthcare Service System Management when performing tasks in a medical record unit. There is socialization and education in the media about the importance of the certification of integrity of specialized training on Casemix-based Health Care System Management in carrying out tasks in the medical record unit.

Abstract

Postpartum mothers often experience problems with expressing breast milk. In 2020, Indonesia was actually still low, namely (66.1%) and increased to (69.7%) in 2021. The province of Central Java itself had an exclusive breastfeeding coverage rate lower than the national achievement figure, namely 64.19%. This community service aims to accompany postpartum mothers who have babies in their efforts to increase the smooth production of breast milk at the Karangpandan Community Health Center, Karanganyar Regency. This type of community service is the implementation of breastfeeding practice assistance. The target for this community service is secondary data, namely data on exclusive breastfeeding from August to September 2023 at the Karangpandan Community Health Center. The total sample involved 50 people, using a technique for all mothers with babies which was carried out for 6 weeks. Bivariate analysis used the Chi-Square test and Fisher's Exact Test. The results of the bivariate test showed that there was an influence between breast care assistance (p=0.001) and an increase in the smoothness of breast milk production. It can be concluded that assistance in breast care can increase breast milk production.
