This study aims to analyze the integration of Total Quality Management (TQM) and digital pedagogy in Islamic Religious Education (IRE) within Indonesian madrasahs to enhance teacher competence and instructional quality. Using a mixed-methods approach, the research combined quantitative correlation analysis with qualitative interviews, observations, and document analysis. The results revealed a positive and significant relationship between TQM implementation and teachers’ digital pedagogical competence (r = 0.64; p < 0.01). Qualitative findings showed that institutional and technological barriers—such as limited digital infrastructure and internet access—remain major challenges, especially in rural madrasahs. However, strong leadership commitment and a culture of continuous improvement were found to mitigate these constraints and foster innovation. The integration of TQM and digital pedagogy also aligns with moral and spiritual dimensions in Islamic education, indicating that digital media can serve as both pedagogical and ethical tools for character formation. The study concludes that sustainable improvement in Islamic education requires leadership grounded in moral integrity, reflective practice, and a continuous quality culture.

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Sharia based digital accounting among Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) operating in Ngemplak Traditional Market, Tulungagung, and to identify the factors influencing its level of adoption. The research is motivated by the low use of digital financial recording systems that apply Sharia principles such as amanah, honesty, transparency or tabligh, and justice or adl. Sharia compliant digital accounting has the potential to improve efficiency, accountability, and the overall barakah or blessing in business management.A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, using observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation with ten purposively selected MSME actors. The findings indicate that the adoption of Sharia-based digital accounting remains low and varies based on age, education level, understanding of Sharia principles, and digital literacy. The main challenges include limited technological skills, insufficient knowledge of Sharia accounting, and resistance to shifting from manual bookkeeping habits. On the other hand, the key driving factors include the perceived benefits of digital applications, support from peer communities, and training programs provided by local government agencies and Sharia-oriented institutions.The study concludes that implementing Sharia-based digital accounting is not merely a technological matter but also a social, cultural, and spiritual process that requires stronger literacy, continuous assistance, and proper understanding of Islamic financial ethics tailored to local characteristics. The findings are expected to contribute to the development of Islamic Accounting and Finance studies and support an ethical, Sharia-compliant digital transformation for MSMEs in Indonesia.

This study examines the role of education in fostering civic engagement and ethical leadership as key components of social transformation, particularly through the integration of religious and moral values within school systems. Using a qualitative, literature-based approach, the study analyzes recent scholarly works to explore how schools function as transformative institutions. The findings reveal that the integration of civic education, character education, and religious values significantly contributes to students’ moral development, social responsibility, and active participation in society. Participatory learning, community involvement, and ethical leadership practices within schools further strengthen students’ civic competencies and leadership capacities. In the Indonesian context, the incorporation of Islamic values such as justice, trustworthiness, and social solidarity enhances ethical awareness and civic consciousness. However, challenges such as limited teacher training and rigid curricula remain barriers. The study concludes that holistic and value-based educational approaches are essential for developing ethically responsible and civically engaged citizens.

Curriculum administration is an essential element in ensuring that educational implementation runs effectively, consistently, and in accordance with students’ needs. This study emphasizes that curriculum administration is not merely an administrative activity but also plays a strategic role in linking curriculum documents with classroom learning practices. Using a literature review method, this study examines literature related to curriculum planning, implementation, supervision, and evaluation, as well as the challenges that arise in curriculum implementation. The findings indicate that learning flexibility is a key factor; however, an increase in administrative workload can reduce teaching time, cause teacher stress, and limit innovation. Therefore, the success of curriculum administration depends on balancing administrative demands with pedagogical needs, as well as the active involvement of all stakeholders, including school principals, teachers, educational staff, and the educational community. The integration of technology and professional development has also been shown to support the efficiency of curriculum management. Through adaptive, collaborative, and responsive approaches, curriculum administration is able to improve learning quality, student achievement, and schools’ capacity to respond to contemporary changes. This study affirms that curriculum administration should be viewed as a strategic instrument that supports the comprehensive and sustainable achievement of educational goals in Indonesia.

ABSTRACT This research will explain the situation of religion during the Suharto era and the Prabowo era. President Suharto considered religion to be a threat to national stability, so he restricted religious literature to government publications to prevent seditious doctrines from entering through religion, while President Prabowo considered religion to be one aspect of maintaining national stability. This study will explain the role of religion in Indonesia's independence and the views of President Suharto and President Prabowo on religion. This study will also explain the relationship between religion and the state. These issues will add to the insight and understanding of the differences in the views of President Suharto and President Prabowo on religion. This study will use descriptive and analytical methods. This brief study will provide an analysis that can be developed in religious life in Indonesia as a guardian of state stability.

Indonesia’s education system operates within a uniquely multicultural and multireligious context that presents both challenges and opportunities for teacher professional development (TPD). Teachers are expected not only to master pedagogical and subject-matter competencies but also to foster tolerance, inclusivity, and social cohesion among learners from diverse cultural and religious backgrounds. This article examines teacher professional development in Indonesian education, focusing on how multiculturalism and religious diversity shape teachers’ professional learning experiences in the post-reform and post-pandemic era. Using a qualitative literature-based research design, this study synthesizes findings from recent empirical and theoretical studies on teacher development, multicultural education, and religious values in schooling. The results indicate that while Indonesian teachers face structural challenges such as limited training access, curriculum standardization, and ideological tensions, there are significant opportunities through culturally responsive pedagogy, faith-based ethical frameworks, and community-oriented professional learning. The study argues that effective TPD in Indonesia must integrate pedagogical competence, multicultural sensitivity, and religious moderation. This article contributes to the discourse on teacher education by offering a contextualized framework for professional development in pluralistic societies.
