Abstract

This study aims to analyze and improve the library information system at SMK Wiyata Satya. The background of this study focuses on the importance of efficient data management in the process of borrowing and returning books. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive approach by conducting literature studies, observations, interviews, and distributing questionnaires to students and library staff. The results of the questionnaire indicate that there is an urgent need for a computerized system to facilitate data collection and storage of information. From the data analysis, it was found that 35.4% of respondents agreed with the need for a new system, while 27.1% strongly agreed. These results indicate that the majority of respondents are aware of the importance of a better information system to improve the efficiency of library operations. The conclusion of this study emphasizes that the implementation of a computerized information system at SMK Wiyata Satya will not only improve efficiency, but will also provide convenience in managing library data. Thus, it is hoped that this study can be a reference for the development of library information systems in other educational institutions. This study is expected to provide a positive contribution in improving the quality of library services at SMK Wiyata Satya.

Abstract

This study explores the implementation of the Midtrans payment gateway system on the Bloxstore.id website using the Prototyping method. The main objective is to enhance the website's payment transaction process by integrating an efficient and secure payment gateway. The Prototyping method was chosen for its iterative approach, which allows for continuous feedback and system refinement. This research demonstrates how the integration of Midtrans improves the user experience by streamlining the payment process and offering various payment options. The results indicate significant improvements in transaction speed, security, and user satisfaction. This study’s findings are valuable for e-commerce platforms looking to optimize their payment systems and build customer trust through secure and efficient transaction methods.

Abstract

As a popular platform, Windows faces increasingly complex and diverse malware threats. This research evaluates Windows security weaknesses and finds effective methods of mitigating malware attacks. To ensure the validity of the results, the analysis was conducted through literature review, protection method evaluation, and data triangulation. The results show that layered protection methods, which include implementing firewalls, antivirus, and regular system updates, are highly effective in combating different types of malware, such as ransomware, trojans, and spyware. In addition, the use of machine learning and artificial intelligence helps detect threats in real-time. This research provides practical advice for developers and users on how to improve Windows security through a combination of proactive and reactive measures. It also suggests that users be more aware of cybersecurity. The results of this research are expected to serve as a reference for the development of more secure operating systems in the future.

Abstract

Computer intelligence, particularly Artificial Intelligence (AI), has become a cornerstone in advancing bioinformatics. This study aims to explore the role of AI in addressing the challenges of analyzing complex biological data, especially in genomics, proteomics, and metabolomics. Using machine learning (ML) and deep learning (DL) algorithms, AI efficiently processes large-scale data, accelerates genomic research, predicts protein structures, and identifies disease biomarkers. However, challenges such as data quality, computational limitations, and privacy issues remain barriers to its implementation. The findings of this study highlight the importance of continuous innovation, multidisciplinary collaboration, and strict regulations in AI applications. In conclusion, AI holds great potential to revolutionize bioinformatics, significantly impacting scientific research and the development of global healthcare systems.

Abstract

The application of bioinformatics in this research provides deeper insight into mutation patterns and virus spread in chickens. Phylogenetic models and genetic analysis enable the identification of higher risk virus strains, as well as understanding how high risk viruses can adapt to their host environment. Avian Influenza or bird flu is a disease caused by viruses including type A influenza virus which can infect poultry, especially chickens. This research aims to determine the interpretation of patterns causing poultry virus pests in chickens using a bioinformatics approach. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Identifying the causes of disease in poultry, especially chickens, using a bioinformatics approach can be done by managing molecular biology data on the birds to be studied, especially DNA sequence and genetic information.

Abstract

The development of information technology has had a significant impact in various sectors, including in the management of social assistance programs. At the Social Service for Women's Empowerment and Child Protection of Batu Bara Regency, the evaluation process for the implementation of social assistance programs is still carried out manually, which causes delays in data collection, analysis, and report preparation. Therefore, an information system is needed that can help speed up and facilitate the evaluation of the program. This study aims to design a Social Assistance Program Evaluation Information System that can integrate data on aid recipients, types of assistance, recipient status, and program effectiveness evaluation. This system is designed using the Waterfall method which consists of the stages of needs analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The platform used in the development of this system is web-based to facilitate access from various devices. The results of this study show that the design of an integrated information system can increase efficiency in collecting evaluation data and speed up the reporting process to related parties. In addition, this system is expected to increase transparency and accountability in the implementation of social assistance programs, so that the impact of the program can be more measurable and on target.

Abstract

Determining outstanding students is one of the important programs at TPQ Roudhotul Jannah to give appreciation to students and motivate them to be more enthusiastic about learning. To support an objective and fair selection process, this research implemented the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method in determining outstanding students. The criteria used include the value of memorizing prayers and letters, attendance, discipline, morals, independence, and reading the Koran. This research shows that the SAW method is able to provide results that are structured, transparent, and in accordance with predetermined assessment standards, so that the selection process becomes more effective.

Abstract

This research explores the implementation of computer vision technology in AI-based e-commerce platforms to enhance product identification and improve user experience. The study specifically examines the use of deep learning algorithms, particularly Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN), to automate product recognition and classification. The results indicate that AI-driven image search features significantly increase the speed and accuracy of product search, leading to greater customer engagement. However, challenges such as the need for high-quality datasets, varying image quality, and high initial investment costs were identified as barriers to effective implementation. The findings suggest that overcoming these obstacles can lead to improved operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. The success of AI in e-commerce depends on robust infrastructure, data quality, and skilled workforce training.

Abstract

This research compares memory management between Windows 10 and Linux Ubuntu operating systems, focusing on the issues of memory fragmentation and memory leaks. Windows 10 applies paging and segmentation methods, which provide a high degree of flexibility, but on the other hand carry considerable system overhead. On the other hand, Linux Ubuntu uses the Buddies system which is more efficient in dealing with fragmentation issues. In handling memory leaks, Windows 10 relies on Garbage Collection, while Linux Ubuntu utilizes the Permchecker tool. This research provides knowledge related to the differences between Windows 10 and Linux Ubuntu operating systems in the context of handling memory management problems, especially on memory fragmentation and memory leak problems.

Abstract

Bioinformatics can help identify cancer risk factors, predict cancer, and develop effective prevention strategies. The development of bioinformatics technologies such as genetic data analysis, development of prediction models, and personalization of treatment have opened up new opportunities in cancer prevention. This research aims to examine the role of bioinformatics in preventing cancer and building a better health future. By understanding the potential of bioinformatics, we can develop effective prevention strategies and improve people's quality of life. Prevention and efforts to control breast cancer were discovered using bioinformatics technology. This research shows that the implementation of bioinformatics has a positive impact on efforts to prevent breast cancer for the future of health.
