Abstract

This study compares the performance of two leading mobile operating systems, iOS and HarmonyOS, focusing on technical aspects such as power efficiency, application response speed, background application management, and graphics rendering performance. Using a literature review method, data was collected from scientific sources, comparative reports, and official documents. The analysis results show that iOS excels in hardware-software integration, providing high energy efficiency and stable performance, especially on mobile devices. In contrast, HarmonyOS stands out for its flexibility and multi-device integration, making it ideal for the IoT ecosystem. However, this flexibility has limitations on energy efficiency and performance of some devices. The study concludes that iOS is suitable for users who prioritize a stable and exclusive experience, while HarmonyOS is more ideal for those who need the flexibility of an open ecosystem.

Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) has brought changes in various sectors including education, particularly at the secondary school level. This study aims to analyze the role of AI in improving academic learning, identify the positive impact of AI implementation in the education sector, and compare the effectiveness of AI-based learning with conventional methods. Using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method, this study analyzed 50 scientific articles published between 2019-2024 from ScienceDirect, IEEE, Semantic Scholar, and Google Scholar databases. The results showed that the implementation of AI improved students' academic performance by 23% compared to traditional methods, with an increase in students' learning motivation by 35%. In the aspect of adaptive learning, AI shows an increase in learning effectiveness by 30% and increases student participation in distance learning by 40%. Comparison with conventional methods shows the superiority of AI-based learning in material personalization (90% vs 60%), feedback system (85% vs 40% responsiveness), and student engagement (75% vs 45%). However, the research found that optimal results are achieved through blended learning that combines the power of AI with the social interaction of conventional learning.

Abstract

The main focus of this research is to examine data storage efficiency methods, algorithm scheduling, and resource usage optimization techniques. This research uses literature study methods and simulation experiments to analyze system performance. The research results show that storage management methods based on deduplication and data compression have significant efficiency in reducing storage space requirements. The implications of this research include improving cloud system performance and reducing operational costs.

Abstract

A geographic information system are highly valuable tools that help individuals or visitors explore noteworthy destinations. Implementing GIS for online restaurant searches within Southwest Sumba Regency aims to assist users in effortlessly obtaining detailed and accurate information about restaurant locations, enabling them to identify and reach these spots efficiently. The purpose of this project is to design a GIS application that leverages the capabilities of the Google Maps API. This API represents a sophisticated set of modern programming tools that facilitate seamless interaction between different software systems. The GIS application is developed using the waterfall methodology, which emphasizes a structured software development lifecycle to ensure uniformity and operational clarity. Therefore, the results of this study, with a geographic information system mapping the location of eating restaurants can provide information to tourists, as well as the community regarding the location of eating restaurants in the Southwest Sumba Regency area quickly and easily.

Abstract

Geographic information systems are data placed in the context of space and time using computer systems used in the process of storing, manipulating, and analyzing geographic information. The purpose of this research is that the GIS application can help provide information on mapping the location of the economically weak population to the entire community quickly and easily. In addition, it can facilitate employees of the BPS Office of Southwest Sumba Regency in providing correct and accurate data information. The results of this study can help us find the location point quickly.

Abstract

GIS is a database system that has special features to process information related to the same space with operating system devices. GIS is also capable of integrating data, organizing information, and analyzing data that can ultimately produce outputs to support decision-making related to geographic issues. In this study, researchers plan to apply GIS to function as a digital map, which can certainly represent a particular area, and can be utilized through the availability of information by Google map as a wayfinding. In this study, it can be concluded that the benefits of GIS for mapping health centers to provide information about the location of health centers to the Health Office of Southwest Sumba Regency.

Abstract

WebGis is a service that has geographic information. Geographic information systems have many spatial data types, namely points, lines, areas, and surfaces. GIS is a computer-based application whose data will be managed by spatial and attribute data. The distribution of graduates on Sumba Island is very large and has not been properly recorded so the data collection has not been properly recorded. Therefore, researchers conduct research and find solutions by recording alumni and managing the data into a system that can be recorded properly through spatial data information in the form of maps with databases so that the search for alumni distribution can be tracked properly.

Abstract

The library is a place to get information through books that have been provided by the Southwest Sumba Regency Library and Archives Office. The problem faced by researchers is when books have not been neatly arranged on the shelves and many books have not been archived in an application so researchers design an application to assist in making a computer-based system. The library information system application is designed with the PHP programming language and MySql as a database. From the results of this study, the library information system can be used as expected and can help officers manage book data and borrower data easily.

Abstract

The debugging process is a critical step in software development, especially for the Windows operating system, which offers various tools and techniques to address software issues. This study explores debugging strategies such as logging, memory analysis, real-time debugging, reverse engineering, and compilation-based techniques to identify and resolve problems such as memory leaks and unresponsive applications. Results indicate that selecting the right debugging method depends on the type and complexity of the problem, with a combination of methods often yielding the best outcomes. This study provides practical guidance for Windows users to enhance debugging effectiveness in resolving system and application issues.

Abstract

A good information system is a system that can run according to needs and can provide web-based service facilities. The system for selling goods still uses face-to-face directly in the purchasing process so it is time-consuming. The solution that can be provided by researchers is to design website-based sales applications so that they can be used quickly and easily. The process of making a sales information system uses the SDLC method. The benefit of the SDLC method is the availability of a platform to communicate more effectively and build a good and efficient sales information system. The results of this study, can accelerate the process of selling and buying online easily and quickly.
