Abstract

This study presents an innovation design for an Internet of Things (IoT)-based watering and liquid fertilizer control system for chili plants using a NodeMCU ESP32. The main problem addressed is the manual watering and fertilizing process, which makes it difficult for farmers to monitor soil moisture, temperature, air humidity, and light intensity in real time. The recommended method used in this draft is Research and Development (R&D) with a prototyping approach because the study focuses on designing, building, integrating, and testing an IoT device through iterative stages. The system is designed using a soil moisture sensor, DHT11, LDR sensor, two-channel relay, two 12 V DC pumps, 16x2 I2C LCD, and the Blynk Mobile application for remote monitoring and control. Sensor data are transmitted to Blynk as percentage values and plant condition statuses, while the water and fertilizer pumps can be controlled using virtual buttons. The control logic defines the optimal condition for chili plants based on soil moisture of 60-80%, temperature of 25-30°C, air humidity of 60-80%, and light intensity of 50-90%. Prototype documentation and functional testing data will be completed in the next stage.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of information technology (IT) professional ethics as a preventive instrument in facing the escalation of cyber crime in Indonesia. Using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method with the PRISMA protocol, 17 selected scientific literature from the 2020-2026 period were analyzed comprehensively. The results of the study indicate that dominant operating modes such as ransomware on national infrastructure and mass data breaches in the banking and health sectors are rooted in the neglect of integrity and accountability principles. The discussion in this study confirms that the application of professional ethics based on the PAPA (Privacy, Accuracy, Property, Accessibility) framework is able to suppress the risk of internal threats and strengthen digital defense. The conclusion of the study shows that the synergy between the 2024 ITE Law regulations and the internalization of the professional code of ethics is the main key to data sovereignty in the digital era. The practical implications of this research recommend strengthening the ethics curriculum in IT higher education and ethical compliance audits in the public sector.

Abstract

Researchers made observations of user reviews who complained about problems such as bugs, unstable performance, and errors when purchasing. This study aims to analyze the User Experience (UX) on the JakOne Mobile application. The methods used include literature study, data collection and processing through the UEQ questionnaire, as well as analysis and discussion of the results. The results of the analysis show that of the six UEQ rating scales, five scales (Attractiveness, Clarity, Efficiency, Stimulation, and Novelty) get Excellent scores, while the Accuracy scale gets Bad scores. In UX analysis, the JakOne Mobile application has a very good benchmark level with 10% the best result and 25% the worst result. The assessment aspects of Attractiveness, Perspicuity, Efficiency, Stimulation, and Novelty are in the positive zone, while Dependability is in the negative zone. The results showed that the JakOne Mobile application received good marks from users, especially at Gunadarma University, the Information Systems Department class of 2020. This research provides input for Bank DKI and application developers to improve service quality to users. Thus, this research contributes to understanding the user experience and improving the JakOne Mobile application.
