Abstract

Knowing Indonesia's unique geographical conditions, various disaster risks have been discovered that will occur. This disaster risk is found in areas that have special conditions, one of which is the Pancer Beach area. Where conditions are close to the beach, various disaster risks definitely arise. Social media representation also plays an important role in the effectiveness of Early Warning System deployment. So research was conducted which aimed to analyze the effectiveness of social media representations used in increasing citizen readiness based on an early warning system. This research method uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of in-depth interviews, observation and analysis of documents related to early warning systems. Abstract

This research discusses how to restore the coffee culture of ancient people and its relationship with modern cafes that exist today. In ancient times, people drank coffee by producing the ingredients themselves, from growing the coffee to the brewing process. However, as time progressed, instant coffee emerged which made people start consuming instant coffee because the manufacturing process was practical, the price was relatively cheap and the taste had many innovations. This research uses a systems theory perspective by Walter Buckley and is reinforced by Niklas Luhmann's General Systems Theory. According to him, this systems theory focuses on the relationship of various processes in a social system. The research method used is a qualitative research method with an ethnographic approach. The research results show that many cafes that have been established today have brought back the coffee culture of ancient people. This can be proven by making coffee starting from the coffee beans to the blooming process or brewing the coffee using a coffee maker.

Abstract

Education is a process needed to obtain balance and perfection in the development of individuals and society. Education itself is faced with various problems that become obstacles to the quality of education itself. This can be seen in various aspects, some of which include the lack of adequate physical facilities such as the feasibility of buildings used in the learning process. These problems can hinder the development of students to reach their best potential and cause inequality in terms of access to quality education. There are differences in the quality of education in rural and urban areas, where rural areas have more specific challenges such as lack of school facilities, difficulty of access, and technological and social changes. In the context of education, technology has changed the way we learn, access information and communicate. Social changes, such as changing demographics, can also affect the way we design education systems. These factors create pressures on education that require creative thinking and innovative solutions. This research uses qualitative research methods through a phenomenological approach. The theoretical foundation used in this research is the functional structural theory proposed by Talcott Parson. Data collection in this study used interviews, observation, and documentation.

Abstract

Salak farmers in South Tapanuli Regency, North Sumatra, face the challenge of low prices during harvest season. To overcome this, they developed salak fruit processing into salak dodol. This step is expected to increase the economic value of their products. The biblical value that can be linked to the solution provided by the farmer group is Genesis 2:15. This verse reflects the value of hard work and human effort to cultivate and maintain natural resources, in line with the salak farmers' efforts in processing salak fruit into salak dodol. This study used a qualitative approach with interviews of salak processing industry employees and analysis of related literature. The processing process involves cleaning, cooking, adding brown sugar and coconut milk, and forming the dough into dodol. The result not only increases economic value, but also provides health benefits.
