The scope of this journal includes research that intends to review and understand nursing health care interventions and health policies that utilize advanced nursing research from an Asian perspective. The Sandi Husada Health Scientific Journal publishes research related to clinical, community, and health policy settings in Asia from a comparative and international perspective. We aim to evaluate and understand complex nursing care interventions on Nursing Fundamentals, Clinical Nursing, Community, and mental health nursing. The journal is also committed to improving high-quality research by publishing analytical research techniques, measures, and methods, including systematic review papers. Abstract

Introduction: Indonesia is one of the countries in Asia with the percentage of short toddlers besides Myanmar and Vietnam. Although Malaysia, Thailand, and Singapore have stunting cases, the stunting prevalence is less than 20 percent. Objective: To determine the prevalence of stunting and malnutrition in the work area of the Rumah Tiga Health Center. Methods: This study used a cross-sectional design with a total sample of 954 children under five. Result: the prevalence of stunting in children under five is 17.9 percent. The Body Mass Index of toddlers with a below-normal category is 4.82 percent. Conclusion: Toddlers who experience stunting occur at the age of 1-3 years and are dominated by males. Toddlers who have a body mass index below normal are also at the age of 1-3 years and are male.

Abstract

Introduction: Information about medicines obtained by the public in self-medication can be obtained through advertising. Drug advertisements must contain information that is objective, complete, and not misleading as stipulated in the Regulation of POM. Objective: this research is to know the effect of cough medicine advertisements in electronic media on self-medication selection in the community. Method This study used a cross-sectional method and was conducted in society using an accidental sampling technique. The instrument used in this research is a questionnaire and the analysis technique in this study is using t-test and a simple linear regression test. Result Cough medicine advertisements in electronic media have an influence of 30.5% on the selection of self-medication drugs, while 69.5% is influenced by other factors with the linear equation Y= 2.027 + 0.357x. Conclusion: There is an effect of cough medicine advertisements advertised in electronic media on the selection of self-medication

Abstract

Introduction; Breast milk is the main source of nutrition for babies. The flow of mother's milk production can be seen from two indicators, namely mother and baby. So that the flow of mother's milk production can consume nuts, one of which is green beans. Purpose; determine the effect of intake of mung bean juice on the flow of milk production in postpartum mothers. Method; The research used is Quasi-Experimental Design with Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The number of samples in this study was 30 respondents using purposive sampling. The data collection technique was carried out by giving green beans to the respondents and then observing the flow of milk production within 1 week of intake. Data analysis using Chi-Square Test. Results; showed that giving mung bean juice 15 (50%), did not give mung bean juice 15 (50%) and showed smooth milk production (60%) while cow's milk production was not smooth (40%). The results of the analysis with a value of p = 0.009. Conclusion; that there is an effect of intake of mung bean juice on the flow of milk production in postpartum mothers. Therefore, it is recommended for postpartum mothers to consume green beans, especially mung bean juice, because the more often postpartum mothers consume mung bean juice, the faster the production

Abstract

Introduction: Anxiety is a subjective experience in the form of uncomfortable feelings that arise from non-specific causes. Pharmacological therapy to reduce anxiety is the administration of anti-anxiety drugs (alprazolam triazolobenzodiazepine) 0.5 mg 3 times a day. One of the distraction techniques that can be used to reduce anxiety in children undergoing nursing actions is the use of audio-visual therapy (cartoon films). Purpose: This study (literature review) was to determine the effectiveness of audio-visual therapy (cartoon films) on anxiety in preschoolers. Methods: This study explores quantitative evidence published in electronic databases such as PubMed, and google scholar. By using a journal search strategy, the final results are 3 articles which are the main references in the preparation of this research. Results: From the three articles reviewed, it can be seen a significant effect in reducing anxiety levels in preschool children after being given audio-visual therapy intervention. Conclusion: That audio-visual therapy (cartoon films) is effective in reducing anxiety levels in children aged 3-6 years

Abstract

Introduction: Personal hygiene behavior during menstruation is a very important thing to do in ensuring the health of the organs of adolescent girls both physically and mentally. Aim: know the effect of menstrual hygiene health promotion on the knowledge and attitude of early menstrual adolescents. Method: Quantitative research uses Pre-Experiments with the design of one group Pretest-posttest design, with purposive sampling with the Wilcoxon Test. Results: The findings of the study showed the knowledge and attitudes of adolescent girls after being given health promotion increased and had a good impact on adolescents’ menstrual hygiene. Conclusions; That there is an effect of menstrual hygiene health promotion on the knowledge and attitude of early menstrual adolescents.

Abstract

Introduction; Pregnancy is a vulnerable period of the risk of psychological disorders for a pregnant woman; one of these disorders is anxiety. Parity is a history of childbirth with the number of pregnancies as a physiological state can be followed by pathological processes that can threaten the state of the mother and fetus. Ideally, the parity of a pregnant woman is 2-3 with a delivery distance of 3-4 years. Purpose; knowing the relationship between the parity status of pregnant women and the anxiety level of preoperative Sectio Caesarea mothers. Method; This study used a descriptive correlation design with a cross-sectional approach and purposive sampling technique performed on 34 pregnant women with preoperative Sectio Caesarea. The questionnaire used was the Hamilton Rating scale for Anxiety (HRS-A). Results; Based on the analysis, the chi-square test was obtained with a p-value of 0.004. Conclusion; that there is a significant association between parity and anxiety status in preoperative mothers of section Caesarea. Anxiety preoperative mother Sectio Caesarea experiences mild anxiety

Abstract

Introduction; Stunting in toddlers is one of the nutritional problems in the world, especially in developing countries. As many as 21.3% or around 144 million toddlers worldwide are stunted; more than half of the world's stunted toddlers are from Asia, and more than two-fifths live in Africa. Stunting is a severe threat to the existence of children as the next generation of a nation. Purpose; This study analyzed the risk factors associated with the incidence of stunting in toddlers in developing countries using a systematic literature review and meta-analysis. Method; Literature search using online journal portals, ProQuest, PubMed, and Garuda. The journal used in this study has a maximum reputation of Q2 and sinta 2, in 2010-2020, with a cross-sectional and case-control study design. Results; Based on the search results, seven works of literature were obtained, and conducted by systematic literature review was. Conclusion; The results of the meta-analysis of risk factors related to the incidence of stunting in toddlers in developing countries are birth weight and exclusive breastfeeding

Abstract

Introduction: Mobile phones are currently undergoing development, with a variety of conveniences that they can do. Cell phones, or what is known as smartphones or smartphones at this time, produce electromagnetic wave radiation that affects the health of the human body. Purpose: Knowing the effect of mobile phone electromagnetic radiation on human brain health. Method: Research using narrative-type Literature Review, journals, and books nationally and internationally. Electromagnetic radiation from mobile phone use affects several human health disorders. Results: Indications of these health problems can be in the form of tumors and cancer in the brain, which can cause stress, and disruption of sperm, gliomas, and red blood cells. Interference caused by the electromagnetic radiation of mobile phones to health is still a polemic. Conclusion: Electromagnetic radiation from mobile phone use can cause some health disorders.

Abstract

Introduction: Tuberculosis is a public health problem worldwide, with Indonesia, in particular, being the second leading cause of death from infectious diseases. Objective: Carry out comprehensive nursing care to clients experiencing respiratory system disorders due to Pulmonary TB with effective cough interventions. Method: The study's design uses a case study to describe the phenomenon with a nursing care approach. Results: Showing clients said frequent coughs at night, coughing up phlegm, and difficulty removing phlegm are the causes of this. Pulmonary TB results in primary infection of the alveoli, increased secretion production, and ineffective airway clearance problems. Conclusion: Optimizing airway management in pulmonary tuberculosis nursing care with airway clearance is ineffective

Abstract

Background: Atopic dermatitis is a chronic recurrent skin inflammation characterized by itching, appearing at specific predilection sites and associated with other atopic diseases. Its prevalence in Indonesia tends to increase every year. Objective: Implementing evidence-based family medicine services for patients by identifying risk factors and clinical problems and managing patients with a patient-centered and family-focused approach. Method:This case report obtained primary data through autoanamnesis, anamnesis, physical examination, and home visits. A holistic diagnostic assessment is carried out quantitatively and qualitatively. Result: The patient is a 69-year-old female with atopic dermatitis and asthma. She thought that her skin condition would improve by scratching and applying ointment. She was worried that the itching would get worse and disturb her sleep. She hopes her skin condition can improve. Patients and families had atopic history, advanced age, lack of knowledge about the disease, and exposure to allergens. Conclusion: This patient's holistic diagnostic and comprehensive management was based on the latest theory and research. During the evaluation, there was a clinical improvement in the patient, an increase in knowledge, and a change in the patient's and family's behavior.
