Abstract

General Background: Reading is a fundamental competency in Chinese language learning, requiring mastery of phonetics, Hanyu Pinyin, Chinese characters, vocabulary, and text comprehension. Specific Background: University students continue to experience difficulties with Mandarin pronunciation, character recognition, and basic text comprehension, while existing instructional resources require additional audio, video, and interactive support. Knowledge Gap: Although printed and digital Chinese learning materials are available, resources integrating reading content, phonetic instruction, audiovisual media, and learning activities within an accessible format remain necessary. Aims: This descriptive quantitative study, supported by qualitative data, analyzed basic Chinese reading learning needs as a foundation for developing microlearning-based digital materials using questionnaires from 56 students and an instructor interview. Results: Major pronunciation difficulties involved initial zh (46.43%), ch (37.50%), and q (21.43%); final ü (69.64%); third tone (57.14%); and second tone (44.64%). Character recognition was difficult for 57.14% of students. Moreover, 85.71% required simple-text exercises with interactive explanations, while 71.42% required phonetic exercises. Digital learning innovation received a mean score of 4.16. Novelty: The needs analysis combines learner and instructor perspectives to specify content, media, and independent-practice requirements for microlearning-based materials. Implications: Digital materials should integrate pronunciation instruction, character recognition, vocabulary and word-class information, simple texts, audio, video, and interactive exercises in short, focused, accessible learning units. Highlights: Final ü recorded the highest pronunciation difficulty at 69.64%. Chinese character recognition was reported as difficult by 57.14% of students. Abstract

General Background Teacher professionalism is central to educational quality, while digital transformation requires Islamic Religious Education teachers to combine pedagogical competence with technological adaptability and moral-spiritual responsibility. Specific Background Contemporary PAI teachers face rapid digitalization, changing social conditions, administrative burdens, unequal digital literacy, and limited access to professional training. Knowledge Gap Previous studies remain fragmented, commonly examining pedagogical or professional competence separately and providing limited integration of continuous professional development, digital literacy, Islamic values, and Society 5.0 demands within a comprehensive framework. Aims This qualitative study examines the current development of PAI teacher competence and professionalism, the factors shaping that development, and adaptive strategies relevant to contemporary education through observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation involving teachers, principals, and students. Results Four central dimensions emerged: strengthened pedagogical competence, improved digital competence, cultivation of spirituality and exemplary character, and active participation in professional learning communities and continuous professional development. Barriers included restricted training access, administrative workload, and differences in computer literacy. Novelty The study frames PAI teacher professionalism as an integrated multidimensional process combining pedagogical, professional, social, spiritual, and digital competencies. Implications Educational institutions and government agencies should provide systematic, equitable, and sustained support for digital professional development, academic culture, professional learning communities, spiritual development, and context-responsive training. Highlights: Pedagogical capability, technology literacy, spiritual exemplarity, plus continuous learning formed four central dimensions. Restricted training access, administrative workload, plus uneven computer literacy remained primary barriers. Student-centered instruction, project-based learning, authentic assessment, plus online media reflected a transformative paradigm. Abstract

General Background Divorce generates continuing economic obligations toward former wives and children, making postdivorce maintenance a central concern in religious court proceedings. Specific Background Indonesian judges may exercise ex officio authority to determine maintenance even when it is not expressly requested, provided legal requirements and trial facts support such intervention. Knowledge Gap Previous studies have predominantly emphasized normative foundations and judicial authority, while empirical evidence concerning courtroom application, maintenance determination, implementation constraints, and the roles of judicial actors remains limited. Aims This empirical legal study examines the implementation of ex officio judicial authority in fulfilling postdivorce maintenance rights at the Malang Regency Religious Court and identifies factors shaping its application through a socio-legal approach, interviews, documentation, and legal literature. Results Ex officio authority functions as a legal protection mechanism based on trial facts, the husband’s economic capacity, the needs of former wives and children, proportionality, and child welfare. Its implementation is shaped by legal awareness, evidence of economic capacity, mediation, and judgment enforcement. Novelty The study proposes an integrated strengthening model comprising normative foundations, evidentiary reinforcement, procedural reinforcement, and judgment enforcement. Implications Religious courts should strengthen fact-finding capacity, legal aid services, mediation, and interinstitutional coordination to support the actual realization of maintenance entitlements after divorce. Highlights: Four implementation determinants emerged: legal awareness, proof of husbands’ economic capacity, mediation, and judgment enforcement. Awards depend on courtroom facts, financial ability, claimant needs, proportionality, and child welfare considerations. Abstract

General Background Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia face growing organizational pressure amid curriculum reform and broader educational change. Specific Background Existing research predominantly treats occupational stress as harmful, although positive organizational psychology recognizes eustress as a potentially constructive response to manageable demands. Knowledge Gap Research on Islamic education remains fragmented across burnout, psychological capital, stress, and performance, with no systematic synthesis positioning eustress as a positive organizational resource in this context. Aims Using a PRISMA-guided systematic literature review of peer-reviewed studies published from 2015 to 2024 and sourced from Scopus, Web of Science, and Google Scholar, this study identifies conceptual foundations, performance mechanisms, moderating factors, and a practical management model grounded in Islamic educational values. Results Three interconnected mechanisms were identified: strengthened intrinsic motivation, stronger self-efficacy, and development of an adaptive organizational climate aligned with amanah and istiqamah. Transformational-Islamic leadership and colleague support emerged as key moderators of eustress appraisal. Novelty The study proposes the School-Based Eustress Management Model, integrating psychological capital development, value-based meaning, and protective leadership and administration as a contextually grounded conceptual framework. Implications The model offers a basis for teacher development and institutional policy, but it is intended for future empirical testing rather than as a validated intervention. Highlights: Intrinsic motivation, self-efficacy, plus adaptive climate emerged as three central mechanisms. Transformational religious leadership together with colleague support moderated appraisal of constructive pressure. MMEBS integrates psychological capital, value-based meaning, plus protective administration but remains empirically unvalidated. Abstract

General Background Network data traffic rating represents a core task in modern network engineering for service quality control and bandwidth management. Specific Background Traditional approaches relying on deep packet inspection and port-based categorization face severe limitations due to the proliferation of dynamic ports and widespread encryption protocols such as TLS and HTTPS. Knowledge Gap Although automated algorithms offer alternative solutions, comprehensive applications detailing complete processing pipelines that systematically compare multiple predictive models without inspecting actual packet contents remain scarce. Aims This study designs an integrated flow-based data processing pipeline to extract nine statistical properties for categorizing six data movement classes using four distinct automated algorithms. Results Utilizing a simulated dataset of 3000 flows, experimental outcomes revealed that the aggregate tree model attained the highest precision of 97.87 percent and a macro F1-score of 97.87 percent, significantly outperforming Decision Tree, Support Vector Machine, and KNN models. Novelty This research demonstrates the explicit superiority of ensemble techniques in data categorization by identifying byte rate, mean packet length, and total bytes as the most decisive flow-level metrics, entirely independent of payload decryption. Implications Relying on extracted statistical properties presents a highly reliable methodology for managing modern encrypted infrastructures, suggesting that administrators should prioritize aggregate machine learning systems to optimize resource allocation and detect unwanted activities. Highlights: Aggregate tree models attained a 97.87 percent precision rate across six data movement categories. Payload decryption is unnecessary when utilizing statistical properties such as byte rates and packet lengths. Machine learning pipelines successfully categorized video streaming, web browsing, and voice communications without port dependency. Abstract

Financial institutions face critical vulnerabilities from increasingly sophisticated financial crimes. Banking sectors globally encounter severe operational risks when detecting complex illicit fund flows through traditional surveillance frameworks. Prior research insufficiently addresses how internal technical infrastructure directly mitigates automated financial misconduct within private institutions. General Background Money laundering threatens global financial stability through increasingly complex digital networks. Specific Background Commercial banks act as primary lines of defense but face challenges due to weak supervisory technology and operational pressures. Knowledge Gap Empirical evidence evaluating how technical control systems directly influence anti-money laundering efficacy within private banking remains limited. Aims This study evaluates the statistical impact of internal technical oversight on money laundering prevention at the National Bank of Iraq. Results Regression analysis demonstrates that technical control systems exert a significant positive effect ($R^2 = 0.582, p < 0.001$) on combating illicit financial activities. Novelty The research establishes quantitative empirical metrics validating automated detection technology within Middle Eastern private banking operations. Implications Strengthening smart digital surveillance and specialized technical competencies is vital for institutional compliance and financial integrity. Abstract

Medical artificial intelligence relies heavily on imaging for lesion detection and anatomical quantification, providing essential support for cancer diagnosis and treatment planning (General Background). While foundation models are rapidly transforming radiological workflows, traditional evaluations focus predominantly on technical segmentation metrics rather than clinical utility (Specific Background). Existing literature lacks a comprehensive synthesis combining model taxonomies, multi-task assessments beyond segmentation, and standardized clinical readiness appraisals (Knowledge Gap). This systematic review evaluated forty-two studies published between 2024 and 2026 across eleven databases using PRISMA 2020 guidelines and AI-specific quality frameworks (Aims). Results demonstrated high organ segmentation accuracy with Dice coefficients exceeding 0.90, whereas performance declined for infiltrative tumours, and external validation was present in only one-third of studies (Results). We propose an eight-level clinical-readiness scale and research roadmap to transition medical AI from technical benchmarks to deployment (Novelty). Standardized validation protocols are critical for advancing safe decision support (Implications). Key Findings Highlights Current medical foundation models achieve high technical precision in organ segmentation but show reduced performance in low-contrast and post-treatment lesions. Less than one-third of evaluated studies report external validation, and no interventional prospective trials currently exist. Abstract

General Background Compressive strength development defines the load-bearing capacity and structural performance of concrete over curing ages. Specific Background Chemical admixtures such as PKAN-55 and BAAS-MIXPLAST 140 W alter cement hydration kinetics and early-age performance. Knowledge Gap However, the precise dosage-dependent non-linear strength gain dynamics of B30 concrete modified with these specific admixtures remain insufficiently quantified across long-term ages. Aims This study investigates the compressive strength kinetics of B30 concrete incorporating PKAN-55 and BAAS-MIXPLAST 140 W at dosages from 0.6% to 1.0% up to 56 days. Results Experimental testing revealed optimum dosages of 0.7% for PKAN-55 and 0.9% for BAAS-MIXPLAST 140 W, yielding 28-day compressive strengths of 43.41 MPa and 41.55 MPa, representing strength increases of 8.47% and 3.82% over control concrete, respectively. Novelty A non-linear relationship between admixture dosage and strength development kinetics was established, showing 80–90% 28-day strength gain within 7 days. Implications These findings establish critical mix design parameters for accelerating early construction formwork removal and enhancing structural performance. Abstract

General Background: Online gambling has developed into a social issue affecting family stability and creating new challenges for legal institutions. Specific Background: In divorce cases at the Religious Court of Surabaya, judges face challenges when addressing online gambling because existing legal provisions do not explicitly regulate it as a divorce ground. Knowledge Gap: Previous studies have mainly examined the social and causal relationship between online gambling and divorce, while the construction of judicial reasoning used by judges has received limited attention. Aims: This study aims to examine how judges construct legal reasoning when using online gambling as a basis for divorce in Decision Number 1800/Pdt.G/2026/PA.Sby. Results: Using a qualitative case study combined with socio-legal studies, data were collected through interviews with a senior judge of the Religious Court of Surabaya and analysis of court documents. The findings show that judges do not merely apply legal provisions formally but develop complex reasoning involving purposive interpretation, contextualization of digital social realities, and substantive justice considerations. Maqāṣid al-syarī’ah functions as one reasoning framework supporting judicial decisions beyond literal legal texts. Novelty: This study reveals the gap between written judgments and the actual judicial reasoning process in addressing digital-era family law issues. Implications: The research contributes to understanding judicial decision-making processes in religious courts when responding to emerging digital social phenomena. Highlights: Judges apply contextual interpretation beyond formal legal provisions in online gambling divorce cases.
