Abstract

This study investigates the pivotal role of PE carbonyl groups in light resistance, with a focus on their impact during different stages of aging. Through the application of mechanochemical destruction, hydroperoxides are formed as initiators of photoaging in PE. Our findings reveal the superior effectiveness of hydroperoxides in early aging stages, while the presence of carbonyl groups exerts significant influence in later stages. The results emphasize the dual mechanisms driving photoaging in PE and provide valuable insights for developing strategies to enhance its durability and longevity. Highlights: The presence of carbonyl groups in polyethylene determines its resistance to light. Hydroperoxides formed during mechanochemical destruction initiate photoaging in polyethylene. Carbonyl groups play a significant role in the later stages of polyethylene photoaging. Keywords: Polyethylene, photoaging, carbonyl groups, hydroperoxides, light resistance.

Abstract

Hazrat Alisher Navoi's epic "Farhod and Shirin" discusses many topical issues and universal issues related to the long past, life and future of the XV century. The poet skillfully used the arts of classical poetics, such as tazod (antithesis), talmeeh, tashbeeh, tanosub (the art of proportion), mubolaga (hyperbole), and metaphor, to illuminate these issues and interpret goals and ideas. In Farhod and Shirin, the artistic means of expression served to give a vivid, effective expression of the ideas expressed in the epic, to convey the images clearly and vividly, to ensure the verbal elegance and eloquence of the masnavi verses. The article draws important scientific conclusions by examining the interrelationships between the arts and the imagery in Farhod and Shirin.

Abstract

The article describes the process of extracting nickel from the composition of the used waste of the GIAP-8 catalyst in the form of nickel nitrate, in which it not only does not affect the environmental environment, but is also a cost-effective solution for the production of nickel catalysts. The obtained catalysts were tested in laboratory conditions, the activity of the catalyst in this converted residual methane was 35,7% at T =500 °C and 6,5% at T= 700 °C.

Abstract

Composite materials are soluble and insoluble, and its effectiveness is enhanced by the addition of additives. Natural and artificial composite materials, with a natural group of cellulose fibers in the body and stem of the plant, containing lignin, and for bones in the human and animal organism, the binding of thin, mature phosphate salts to plastic collagen is characteristic. Powder composite material (PCM) is characterized by resistance to deformation, cutting, welding, corrosion and heat .In the manufacture of disks and shovels, the properties of nickel-chromium alloys and powders with the addition of hafnium oxide are additionally improved.

Abstract

This quantitative pre-experimental study aimed to investigate the influence of the problem-based learning (PBL) model on the writing skills of grade III students in crafting experimental reports on the nature of gas objects. The one-group pretest-posttest design was employed, with a sample of 23 students. The research instrument utilized a description question test. Statistical analysis revealed that the sig value (2-tailed) (0.00) < 0.05, indicating the acceptance of the alternative hypothesis (Ha) and rejection of the null hypothesis (Ho). Hence, it can be concluded that the implementation of the problem-based learning model significantly impacted the students' ability to produce high-quality experimental reports on the nature of gas objects. These findings highlight the potential of PBL as a valuable instructional approach to foster effective writing skills and scientific understanding in young learners. Highlights: Significance of PBL: The study examines the impact of problem-based learning (PBL) on the writing skills of grade III students in the context of crafting experimental reports on the nature of gas objects. Quantitative research approach: A pre-experimental design utilizing the one-group pretest-posttest method was employed to investigate the influence of PBL on the students' writing abilities. Positive outcomes: The results indicate a significant influence of the PBL learning model on enhancing the students' writing skills in the production of experimental reports, emphasizing the potential of PBL as an effective instructional approach for scientific writing in young learners. Keywords: Problem-based learning, Writing skills, Experimental reports, Grade III students, Nature of gas objects.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the headline coverage of Jawa Pos and Kompas newspapers on the April 16 and April 18, 2019 editions, during the Indonesian Presidential and Vice Presidential Election. Employing a qualitative descriptive method, the research focuses on structured observation and writing processes, incorporating Robert N. Entman's framing analysis theory. The findings indicate that both Jawa Pos and Kompas exhibit impartiality towards the presidential candidates, presenting neither bias towards candidate pairs nor indications of favoritism. This neutrality is discerned through a lack of elements reflecting preference in the news coverage provided by both newspapers. The study contributes to the understanding of media dynamics in shaping perceptions during crucial political events. Highlights : The study explores the framing of headlines in Jawa Pos and Kompas during the 2019 Presidential Election, shedding light on media portrayal of political events. Notable findings reveal a lack of bias or preference towards any candidate pair, showcasing media neutrality in reporting the election. Utilizing Robert N. Entman's framing analysis theory, the research offers insights into the nuanced dynamics of media influence on public perception during significant political moments. Keywords: Election Framing, Media Neutrality, Presidential Election, Headline Analysis, Robert N. Entman
