Abstract

One exciting sporting event that requires speed, strength, and adrenaline is the 110-meter hurdles. Since the runner's speed starts to decrease in the 110-meter hurdles race at the beginning of muscle strain, which is determined at some point during the total distance of the race, and this stress affects the level of achievement, the researcher sees a weakness in both speed endurance and strength endurance, which is related to the quality of The significance of researching this came from preparing intensive trainings in the style of In order to determine the effects of plyometric training on the special endurance and performance of 110-meter hurdle runners, this study employed an experimental design with a two-group design. The participants were young athletes from Diwaniya Athletics Clubs; the sample size was ten athletes between the ages of eighteen and nineteen. The researchers then divided the participants into two groups, with five competitors in each. If the variables in question are well matched, we should expect good results from this setup. Results The dimensional test yields a tangible distinction in performance between the two groups, but the explosive strength, speed-associated force, and speed stamina of the experimental group benefited relatively greater from plyometrics training than those of the control group.

Abstract

Football is one of the games that has witnessed a remarkable development in the performance of players and their ability to provide distinct levels through their ability to provide the best skill level throughout the game, which indicates the development of their various physical and skill capabilities. There are many and varied exercises that helped in the development of this game, and one of these exercises is the use of (intermittent exercises ( short – short), which is based on exercises that are close to the player's performance during the game, the goal of the study is to prepare exercises in the intermittent style ( short – short ) and their impact on the development of some physical abilities (maximum speed, explosive power, strength marked by speed ) and skill( rolling, handling and scoring ) for youth football players . The researcher used the experimental method using the method of equal groups on the players of the agreement Sports Football Club, numbering (20) young people after the sample was divided into two experimental and control groups, with ( 10 ) players for each group, and the two groups were equated with the study variables , and the group underwent special exercises in the intermittent style ( short – short) for (8) week and with (3) training units per week, and through the results, the researcher concluded that – Short) a positive impact on the development of some physical and skill abilities under study (maximum speed, explosive power, speed-marked strength) and some skills ( rolling, handling and scoring)

Abstract

The research aims to identify the relationship between body measurements and passing the Asian Academy tests for futsal referees. It also aims to identify the body measurements that contribute most to success in those tests. The researcher used the descriptive method with a correlational approach to suit the nature of the research. The research population consists of futsal referees nominated to enter the Asian Academy, and they were selected purposively, and their number reached (13 referees). The research tools consisted of anthropometric measurements (body height, body weight, leg length, hip circumference, chest width, abdominal circumference, and arm length) in addition to the results of the physical tests approved by the Asian Academy. For statistical data analysis, the researchers used the arithmetic mean, standard deviation, and Pearson's correlation coefficient. The results showed a statistically significant correlation between some anthropometric measurements and the results of the Asian Academy futsal referee test. The researchers concluded that there is a significant correlation between the Asian Academy test and body mass index, as well as between the Asian Academy test and hip circumference. The researchers recommend adopting anthropometric measurements when selecting new referees in futsal.

Abstract

The purpose of the study is to determine how the command approach and the brainstorming method differ when it comes to teaching handball shooting, identifying the level of the physical self among the learners, and identify the differences between the brainstorming method and the command method and its impact on the physical self-development of learners. Given the appropriateness of the research and the nature of the problem, the researcher employed the experimental method. The research sample was specifically chosen from among the 45 students enrolled in the fifth grade of preparatory school at An-Najah School for Boys for Displaced Persons, and the main experimental sample consisted of 30 students, or 67% of the research sample. This sample was then split into two groups, a division (A) for the experimental group and a division (B) for the control group, using the random selection method with a lottery and 15 students for each group. In addition to using physical self-assessment for both the experimental and control groups, this study was carried out during the first half of the academic year (2025/2026). The researcher employed the following statistical means: arithmetic mean, standard deviation, and Levene's test (for homogeneity, percentage, t.test for one sample, t.test for two independent samples
