Fokus and Scope Ahad: Multidisciplinary Journal of Islamic Studies is a scientific journal published by Mutiara Hati Moeslem Fondation, dedicated to disseminating research articles, conceptual papers, and literature reviews in the field of Islamic studies through a multidisciplinary approach. This journal aims to provide an academic platform to enrich the body of knowledge on Islam by integrating various perspectives from social sciences, humanities, education, economics, law, politics, culture, and technology. The journal is published four times a year, in March, June, September and December. Scope The scope of the journal includes, but is not limited to: Islamic Education: theory, practice, curriculum development, educational management, instructional technology, and learning innovations. Islamic Thought and Civilization: philosophy, history, classical and contemporary Islamic scholarship, and the development of Muslim societies. Islamic Law and Sharia: fiqh, ushul fiqh, contemporary issues of Islamic jurisprudence, and its application in modern contexts. Islamic Economics and Finance: Islamic banking, zakat, waqf, philanthropy, and the development of sharia-based creative economy. Sociology and Anthropology of Islam: social relations, cultural dynamics, politics, and the role of Islam in society. Islam and Technology: digital media, Islamic communication, religious literacy, and the interaction between Islam and science & technology. Other Multidisciplinary Studies related to Islamic studies.

Abstract

Teachers are important people in the world of education, but in the 21st century there are many cases that violate the code of ethics of a teacher. These actions are carried out by several irresponsible teachers so that the world of education experiences an ethical decline. The book of ta'lim muta'allim by Imam Az-Zarnuji describes the criteria for an ideal teacher and its relevance to learning in the 21st century. This research is a library research, data is taken from various reading sources such as books, journals and previous research. The results of this study are that the ideal teacher has 3 characteristics, namely: Alim, wara' and older. The conclusion of this study is the relevance between the content in the book of ta'lim muta'alim and the character of 21st century teachers emphasizes ethics in the learning process so that they can guide students who are moral and have good spirituality.

Abstract

This article aims to examine the values ​​of leadership in Islamic education from the perspective of tribes, especially the Quraysh tribe, which is known to have a strong social structure, cultural values, and leadership since before the arrival of Islam. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with a library research approach and internet searches for relevant literature that discusses leadership and education in the context of Islam. The results of the study show that the Quraysh tribe has made a major contribution to shaping the character and system of Islamic leadership, with values ​​such as trustworthiness, honesty, deliberation, moral exemplars, and social responsibility that are strengthened through Islamic teachings. Quraysh figures such as the Prophet Muhammad SAW, Abu Bakar, Umar bin Khattab, and others are role models in Islamic educational leadership, both in the formation of educational institutions, teaching, and preserving Islamic teachings. The leadership values ​​of the Quraysh tribe remain relevant and can be used as inspiration in answering the challenges of Islamic educational leadership in the modern era.

Abstract

Education in the digital era has a great opportunity to continue innovating and creating interactive and enjoyable learning environments. Conventional learning media that are commonly used need to be enhanced with the latest technology to improve the quality of learning. Therefore, this study aims to develop Arabic language teaching materials in Maharah Qiraah learning based on the Book Creator Application. This study uses a development research method with the Borg & Gall model, which consists of 10 stages: 1) potential and problems, 2) data collection, 3) product design, 4) design validation, 5) design revision, 6) product testing, 7) product revision, 8) usage testing, 9) product revision, and 10) mass production to develop Arabic language teaching materials in Maharah Qiraah learning based on the Book Creator Application. The Book Creator Application was chosen because it has a file input feature that can be integrated with text, images, audio, and video, creating an interactive and enjoyable learning experience for students. The steps in creating media using Book Creator include concept development, material preparation, design, and distribution. Thus, this study is expected to contribute to the development of innovative and effective learning media in improving the quality of Arabic language learning, particularly in Maharah Qiraah. This study is also expected to increase students' interest and motivation in learning Arabic. Through this research, it is expected that students can gain a more interactive and enjoyable learning experience, which can improve their Maharah Qiraah skills. Additionally, this study can provide a reference for teachers and learning media developers to create innovative and effective learning media.

Abstract

The transformation of student management in Islamic educational institutions is a crucial necessity in facing the era of Society 5.0, which is characterized by the integration of advanced technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), and big data. These developments affect various aspects of life, including education, which is currently challenged by the lack of technological adaptation in student management and the continued use of conventional teaching methods. This study aims to explore innovative strategies to optimize student management in order to enhance the quality of Islamic education in alignment with contemporary developments. The research method used is library research with a descriptive qualitative approach, collecting data through analysis of various literature sources, including journals, articles, and books relevant to the transformation of Islamic education and technology in the Society 5.0 era. The findings indicate that technology integration can improve the efficiency, accuracy, and quality of educational services. It enables better student data management, personalized learning, and data-driven decision-making. Moreover, the use of analytical tools and digital platforms supports more interactive and engaging learning processes. However, this transformation requires strong support from competent educators, adequate facilities, and a balanced approach between modern technology and Islamic values. This study emphasizes the importance of innovation in student management to address the challenges of Society 5.0 without compromising the identity of Islamic education. The implementation of technology-based strategies is expected to improve the quality of Islamic education while shaping a generation that is adaptive, competent, and morally upright.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the development of religious culture for students. The subjects of this study were students of MTs. Al-Fathimiyah Banjarwati Paciran Lamongan. The type of research used is Qualitative, which produces data and is analyzed using descriptive methods. The data collected using interview techniques, Observation, and documentation. The results of this study are that there are several developments of Religious Culture in MTs. Al-Fathimiyah includes 5 dimensions, dimensions of belief, dimensions of practice, dimensions of experience, dimensions of knowledge and dimensions of consequences

Abstract

His study examines the role of digitalization in increasing oyster mushroom sales within an economic empowerment program for mustahik initiated by Baitulmaal Muamalat East Java. The main issue addressed is the limited market reach due to conventional promotional methods. The objective is to analyze the effectiveness of digital platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp Business, and culinary community groups in supporting sales. The research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach, involving interviews, observations, and document analysis. The findings show that Facebook culinary groups are the most effective channels for reaching target markets and boosting sales. However, the use of Instagram and personal Facebook accounts remains minima.. In conclusion, digitalization has proven effective in expanding market access and increasing income, though it requires improvements in production capacity and more optimized visual promotion strategies.

Abstract

Childhood is a crucial phase of development in shaping an individual's behavior and personality. However, not all children are able to adapt to the demands of their social environment in an adaptive manner. This study aims to identify maladaptive behaviors in elementary school-aged children, analyze the contributing factors, and examine the social intervention efforts undertaken by child protection agencies. The study employs a qualitative approach using a case study method on a 9-year-old boy (AR) who is undergoing a probationary period at PPSPA Bima Sakti Batu due to exhibiting deviant behavior. Data collection techniques include observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that AR exhibits various forms of maladaptive behavior, such as stealing, truancy, aggressive behavior, using coarse language, and displaying extreme tantrums. The primary causal factors stem from permissive parenting styles and emotional neglect by the parents. At the PPSPA institution, AR also faces difficulties in adaptation, lack of discipline, and social conflicts with peers. The social interventions implemented included social worker accompaniment, rule enforcement, and coordination with family members and relevant government agencies. The conclusion of this study is that maladaptive behavior in children is not only caused by internal factors but is also strongly influenced by interaction patterns within the family and social environment. Effective interventions require a holistic and collaborative approach to ensure that behavioral change processes can occur sustainably.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the effectiveness of Tazkiyatun Nafs as a spiritual approach in Islamic counseling to address mild to moderate mental disorders. Using a descriptive qualitative method, data were collected through in-depth interviews and literature studies, then analyzed using a thematic content analysis approach. The results show that the stages of Takhalli, Tahalli, and Tajalli significantly assist participants in emotional regulation, self-reflection, and the enhancement of spiritual awareness. These findings contribute to the development of Sufi-based Islamic counseling theory and open the possibility for integrating this approach into Islamic education and psychological services. The study recommends Tazkiyah-based counselor training and further exploration with broader populations and methodologies to strengthen the validity of this model.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas peran pendidikan multikultural dalam membangun karakter generasi muda Indonesia yang hidup di tengah keragaman etnis, budaya, agama, dan bahasa. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah tantangan globalisasi, konflik sosial, serta kemerosotan moral yang dapat mengancam keutuhan identitas bangsa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan menganalisis data sekunder mengenai implementasi pendidikan multikultural di berbagai institusi formal maupun nonformal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan multikultural tidak hanya berfungsi menumbuhkan sikap toleransi dan penghargaan terhadap perbedaan, tetapi juga menjadi dasar strategis dalam memperkuat nilai-nilai demokratis, humanis, dan pluralis. Melalui pendidikan multikultural, peserta didik didorong untuk memahami keragaman sekaligus membangun kedisiplinan, tanggung jawab, dan rasa memiliki terhadap bangsa. Selain itu, nilai-nilai multikultural dapat diintegrasikan ke dalam strategi pembelajaran, materi ajar, maupun budaya sekolah untuk membentuk kesadaran kebangsaan. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa penerapan pendidikan multikultural sangat penting dalam membangun karakter anak bangsa agar tumbuh menjadi pribadi yang toleran, berakhlak, serta memiliki jiwa nasionalisme yang kuat dalam menghadapi tantangan global.

Abstract

Perkembangan konseling Islami semakin relevan dalam menjawab tantangan kesehatan mental kontemporer. Artikel ini mengkaji tiga model utama, konseling Qur’ani, konseling Nabawi, dan pendekatan integratif sebagai kerangka holistik untuk mewujudkan ketenangan batin dan ketangguhan spiritual. Dengan metode kajian literatur kualitatif, penelitian ini mensintesis temuan dari karya ilmiah terbaru yang terbit pada periode 2020–2025. Model Qur’ani menekankan bimbingan melalui kisah para nabi dan ayat-ayat Al-Qur’an, yang memberi kejelasan emosional serta kenyamanan spiritual. Model Nabawi menitikberatkan pada mendengarkan secara empatik, nasihat yang lembut, serta keteladanan perilaku, sehingga membangun kepercayaan dan perubahan bertahap. Sementara itu, model integratif menggabungkan teknik psikologis modern seperti restrukturisasi kognitif dengan praktik spiritual seperti zikir dan doa, sehingga klien mampu mengelola stres sekaligus memperkuat identitas religius. Analisis menunjukkan bahwa ketiga model tersebut berkontribusi pada kesejahteraan holistik dengan mengintegrasikan dimensi psikologis, pedagogis, dan spiritual. Namun, masih terdapat celah riset berupa kurangnya uji empiris, perbandingan efektivitas, serta penerapan praktis di lembaga pendidikan dan komunitas. Artikel ini menegaskan bahwa konseling Islami tidak hanya memperkaya wacana akademik, tetapi juga menawarkan strategi praktis dalam pembinaan kesehatan mental masyarakat modern. Integrasi nilai keagamaan dengan teknik psikologis menjadi jalan berkelanjutan menuju ketenangan batin dan ketangguhan diri.
