Abstract

ABSTRACT   Efforts can be made to increase the production of eggplant plants in addition to land expansion and proper cultivation techniques. One effort to increase crop production is by adding nutrients and optimal irrigation. So it is necessary to study the response of eggplant (Solanum melongena L) to abiotic stresses and organic fertilizers with the aim of knowing the response to abiotic stresses, organic fertilizers and the interactions between abiotic stresses and organic fertilizers. The research method used a randomized block design (RBD) with abiotic stress treatment (C) with 4 levels, namely: c0 ; control without any stress, c1; 25% drought stress, c2 ; 50% drought stress and c3 ; 75% drought stress and the use of organic fertilizer (O) with levels namely: o0 ; without organic fertilizer, o1 ; organic fertilizer 200 g/poly bag, o2 ; organic fertilizer 400 g/poly bag and o3 ; organic fertilizer 600 g/polybag. The results of the research on drought stress treatment had a significant effect on the parameters of plant height, stem diameter, fruit length, fruit weight and number of fruit plants, the best results were at level c1, but had no significant effect on the initial age of flowering. Organic fertilizer treatment had an effect on stem diameter at 45 and 60 hst at o3 level but had no significant effect on plant height, plant diameter at 15 and 30 hst, early flowering, fruit length, fruit weight and number of fruit planted. There was no interaction in each treatment   Keywords: food, climate. Sustainable ; 25% cekaman kekeringan, c2 ; 50% cekaman kekeringan dan c3 ; 75% cekaman kekeringan dan penggunaan pupuk organik (O) dengan taraf yaitu : o0 ; tanpa pupuk organik, o1 ; pupuk organik 200 g/polybag, o2 ; pupuk organik 400 g/polybag dan o3 ; pupuk organik 600 g/polybag. Hasil penelitian perlakuan cekaman kekeringan bepengaruh nyata pada parameter tinggi tanaman, diameter batang, panjang buah, berat buah pertanaman dan jumlah buah pertanaman hasil yang terbaik yaitu pada taraf c1 bernamun tidak berpengaruh nyata pada umur awal berbunga. Perlakuan pupuk organik berpengaruh pada diameter batang umur 45 hst dan 60 hst pada taraf o3 namun tidak berpengaruh nyata pada parameter tinggi tanaman, diameter tanaman umur 15 hst dan 30 hst, umur awal berbunga, panjang buah, berat buah pertanaman dan jumlah buah pertanaman. Tidak terdapat interaksi pada masing-masing perlakuan   Kata kunci : pangan, iklim. berkelanjutan

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini mengetahui pengaruh konsentrasi serta interaksi pupuk organik cair Nasa dan pupuk NPK Phonska terhadap pertumbuhan bibit aren genjah. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada awal bulan Maret hingga Mei 2022 di lahan praktik Agroteknologi Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Widya Gama Mahakam Samarinda. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian faktorial 4 x 4 yang disusun dalam RAK yang terdiri dari 3 ulangan. Faktor pertama adalah konsentrasi pupuk organik cair (POC) Nasa (0, 6, 11, 16) mL/L. Faktor kedua adalah pupuk NPK Phonska yang terdiri (0, 4, 8, 12) g/polybag. Hasil penelitian menunjukan pemberian NPK Phonska serta interaksi POC Nasa dan NPK Phonska berpengaruh tidak nyata pada semua parameter. Pemberian pupuk organik cair (POC) Nasa 16 mL/L memberikan pengaruh nyata pada lingkar batang umur 90 HSP. Kata kunci : Aren, POC Nasa, NPK Phonska

Abstract

Imported apples are apples imported from abroad, there are several types that have been circulating in the market such as USA red apple and Fuji apple. This study aims were to determine the characteristics of consumers who buy fuji apples, and to determine the factors that influence consumer decisions in purchasing fuji apples. This research was conducted at King Fresh Fruit Store in Samarinda City from April to June 2022. The data used in the form of primary data collected through questionnaires and secondary data obtained from sources such as journals, BPS data, books and other literature that supports the research. Sampling used a non-probability sampling method with accidental sampling technique and the number of samples was 40 respondents. The data obtained were analyzed using descriptive analysis and logistic regression at the level of 5%. The results of this study indicated that the characteristics of consumers who buy Fuji apples are dominated by women, age range 15-64 years, high school education level/equivalent, have 3-4 family members, and have jobs as household workers and entrepreneurs. While the factors that influence consumer decisions in purchasing Fuji apples are price, taste, size and texture/crisp which have a significant effect on consumer decisions with a significance value of < 0.050. While the factors that do not influence consumer decisions in purchasing Fuji apples are color, freshness, income, number of family members, education level, benefits, and availability.

Abstract

In the era of increasingly strong globalization, mastery of Information and Communication Technology is a necessity that is no longer negotiable. Technology also plays an important role in the development of agriculture. One example of Information and Communication Technology is the internet. The Internet presents the world without boundaries. Through this facility, it is hoped that it can be used to find all the information needed and can also be used by rural communities to improve economic welfare. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of use of communication channels (internet) by agricultural extension workers, to find out how to provide agricultural information and the relationship between the use of communication channels (internet) and the provision of agricultural information by extension workers at BPP Sepaku, Sepaku District. The sampling method used a saturated sample or census with 11 respondents. The data collected in this study are primary data and secondary data. The method of data collection was carried out by observation and direct interviews with respondents. Data analysis used descriptive qualitative method. The results showed that the extension workers in the use of communication channels (internet) were in the high category and the provision of agricultural information in the very useful category. The relationship between the use of communication channels (internet) and the provision of agricultural information shows a high or strong relationship with a Pearson Correlation (r) value of 0,669 Keywords: Internet Media, Agricultural Information, Extension.

Abstract

ABSTRACT   Cocoa is a food commodity with high economic value that contributes to improving the welfare of farmers. This research was conducted to determine the cocoa plant development strategy by identifying internal and external factors of the cocoa plant in Antutan Village.  This research was conducted in Antutan Village, Tanjung Palas District, Bulungan Regency from November 2022 to January 2023. Sampling used purposive sampling and stratified random sampling with a total sample of 28 cocoa farmers. Data analysis using the SWOT analysis method as well as analysis of the internal and external environment (IFAS and EFAS). Based on the SWOT analysis, the matrix calculation results are in quadrant I, namely the SO strategy or supporting an aggressive strategy. Where farmers can explore various potentials in business, take advantage of the availability of capital they have, improve post-harvest treatment for the better and utilize the ability of the workforce.   Keywords: Cocoa, Potency, Strategy, Development, SWOT.

Abstract

Produksi tanaman kopi robusta yang tinggi sangat bergantung terhadap kualitas dan kuantitas dari bahan tanam (bibit) yang ada. Oleh karena itu selama proses pembibitan seperti media tanam dan pemupukan sangat diperhatikan untuk mendapatkan hasil yang lebih maksimal kedepannya.Pupuk organik dapat berbentuk padat maupun cair. Kelebihan pupuk organik cair adalah unsur hara yang dikandungnya lebih cepat tersedia dan mudah diserap akar tanaman. Selain dengan cara disiramkan pupuk cair dapat digunakan langsung dengan cara disemprotkan pada daun atau batang tanaman (Pardosi ddk, 2014). Jayanti dkk (2019) berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak bawang merah dengan konsentrasi 200 gram / liter air berpengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan tinggi, jumlah daun dan indeks mutu bibit gaharu. Faktor lain sebagai pendukung pertumbuhan sambung pucuk bibit kopi adalah media tanam. Perlakuan komposisi media tanam 2:1:1 (tanah: pupuk kandang kotoran ayam: sekam padi) menghasilkan pertambahan tinggi tanaman, berat basah akar, berat kering akar, berat berangkasan basah dan berat berangkasan kering memberikan hasil terbaik terhadap pertumbuhan bibit kopi di polybag. (Nora dkk. 2015). Tujuan Penelitian mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh pupuk orgnik cair daun gamal dan urea terhadap pertumbuhan bibit kopi. Penelitian dilaksanakan selama 16 minggu (4 bulan) terhitung bulan Januari – Juli 2023. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Kebun Percobaan Agroteknologi Universitas Widya Gama Mahakam Samarinda. Penelitian ini di susun dalam Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan analisis Faktorial 3 x 3 dengan 2 faktor 3 ulangan di peroleh 27 polybag sebagai berikut : Faktor pertama menggunakan ekstrak bawang merah (B) sebagai Zat Pengatur Tumbuh yang terdiri dari 4 taraf, yaitu : M150 : 150 gram/liter air, M200 : 200 gram/liter air, M250 : 250 gram/liter air, M300 : 300 gram/liter air. Faktor kedua menggunakan pupuk organik kotoran ayam dan sekam padi sebagai media tanam (M) yang terdiri dari 3 taraf, yaitu : TT : Tanah (Kontrol), TA : Tanah + Pupuk Kotoran Ayam (1 : 2), TP : Tanah + Pupuk Kotoran Ayam + Sekam Padi (2 : 1 : 1). Berdasarkan hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa Pemberian ekstrak bawang merah pada sambung pucuk tanaman kopi berpengaruh nyata pada hari muncul tunas, panjang tunas dan diameter batang. Interaksi pupuk Urea dan pupuk organik cair daun gamal berpengaruh nyata pada paremeter tinggi tanaman dan diameter batang. Kata Kunci : Robusta, Allium, Ekstrak

Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian dried decanter solid dan pupuk P serta Interaksi kedua perlakuan tersebut terhadap pertumbuhan serta produksi tanaman kedelai (Glycine max. (L) Merill). Penelitian dilaksanakan di lahan praktik Fakultas Pertanian Universitas WidyaGama Mahakam Samarinda Jl. KH. Wahid Hasyim I, Kelurahan Sempaja Selatan, Kecamatan Samarinda Utara, Kota Samarinda, Provinsi Kalimatan Timur Penelitian ini dilaksanakan selama 4 (empat) bulan, mulai dari bulan Maret sampai dengan Juni 2023. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok dengan percobaan faktorial 4 x 3 yang terdiri dari 3 ulangan. Faktor Pertama adalah Pupuk P (P) yang terdiri dari 4 taraf yaitu P0 (tanpa perlakuan), P1 (0,5 gram/tanaman), P2 ( 1 gram/tanman), dan P3 (1,5 gram/tanaman). Faktorkedua adalah dried decanter solid (D) yang terdiri dari 3 taraf yaitu D0 (tanpa perlakuan), D2 (115 gram/tanaman) dan D3 (165 gram/tanaman). Hasil penelitian pada perlakuan dried decanter solid dan pupuk P serta Interaksi kedua perlakuan tersebut terhadap pertumbuhan serta produksi tanaman kedelai (Glycine max. (L) Merill) pada parameter tinggi, umur berbunga, jumlah cabang produktif, jumlah polong, berat per 100 biji, berat pertanaman dan berat perpetak. Pada perlakuan dried decanter solid berpengaruh nyata pada parameter tinggi tanaman dan jumlah cabang produktif. Pada perlakuan pupuk P Interaksi pupuk Urea dan pupuk. Kotoran Sapi berpengaruh nyata pada paremeter tinggi tanaman dan diameter batang umur 105 HSP untuk interaksi keduanya disarankan menggunakan dosis pemupukan N2: 250 gram/L/Polybag dan K1: 200 gram/polybag  Kata Kunci : Elaeis, Nitrogen, Organik

Abstract

The use of fertilizers as additional nutrition for maize plants needs attention. One of the efforts to optimal this problem is the use of organic fertilizer. This research aimed to study the effect of organic fertilizer  application on organic carbon, total nitrogen and maize (Zea mays L.) yield in Inceptisols. The research was conducted at The Laboratory of Soil Chemistry and Plant Nutrition, Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Padjadjaran, Jatinangor from June up to November 2022. The design used was Randomized Block Design (RBD) with nine treatments and three replications: (A) Control, (B) NPK, (C) 1OF, (D) ¾NPK + ¾OF, (E) ¾NPK + 1OF, (F) ¾NPK + 1½OF, (G) 1NPK + ¾OF, (H) 1NPK + 1OF, (I) 1NPK + 1½OF. The results showed that the use of Organik fertilizer had a significant effect on soil organic carbon, soil total nitrogen, and maize yield components compared to the control (without fertilizer) and NPK standard. The ¾ of organic fertilizer  (3.75 kg/ha) effectively increased maize yield when mixed with the NPK dose of standard fertilizer at ¾ (262.5+75+37.5 kg/ha). The use of organic ertilizer at that dose can also reduce NPK usage in Inceptisols. Keywords: Organic Fertilizer, C-Organic, N-Total, Sweet Corn, Inceptisol

Abstract

The research method used was a Randomized Block Design with a 2x4 Factorial Experiment consisting of 3 replications. The first factor is solid organic fertilizer (P) which consists of 2 types, namely: Solid decanter fertilizer (Ps): 5 Kg/Polybag; Manure (Pk): 5 Kg/Polybag. The second factor is gamal leaf liquid organic fertilizer (G) which consists of 4 levels, namely: G0: (control); G1: 10% concentration; G2: 30% concentration and G3: 50% concentration.           The results of the research showed that the treatment of giving gamal leaf liquid organic fertilizer with the lowest concentration, namely G1 (10%), had a significant effect on the fresh fruit weight parameters per plant with the best average weight of fresh fruit per plant being 137.00 g. Providing solid organic fertilizer of the decanter type did not have a significant effect on all parameters. Providing solid organic fertilizer of the chicken manure type had a significant effect on the average height growth of plants at 30 DAP, 60 DAP, 75 DAP, 90 DAP, stem diameter at 15 DAP, 45 DAP, 60 DAP, 90 DAP, and fresh fruit weight per plant.           The interaction of solid organic fertilizer and liquid organic fertilizer with gamal leaves had a significant effect on plant height at 15 DAP, stem diameter at 90 DAP, and fresh fruit weight per plant but had no significant effect on other parameters. The best treatment interaction was PkG1 with a fresh fruit weight of 221.00 gr. Keywords : Solid, Liquid, Fertilizer, Gamal Leaves

Abstract

The use of herbicides is one of the most widely used chemicals in the oil palm industry. The chemical that used continuously and in large quantities in oil palm plantation certainly has a negative impact on the environment, especially spray workers who are directly exposed to chemicals. Therefore, it is necessary to find out how to reduce the hazardous from excessive use of chemicals. WEED Solut-ioN® with active ingredient of 2-Sodium Amine is a new product that it is claimed to reduce herbicide doses without reducing its effectiveness. The objective of this trial is to determine the efficacy of herbicide (or cocktails of herbicides) + reductant WEED Solut- ioN® and compared to herbicides (or cocktails of herbicides) (without reductant WEED Solut- ioN®) in controlling weeds in Teladan Prima Agro Tbk. (TPA) estates. The dose treatment of Isopropilamyne glyphosate + Methyl metsulfruron combined with WEED Solut-ioN® (doses 50:50) was not significantly different to control. Other results showed that there was not significantly different between Fluroxipir (with or without sticker) combined with WEED Solut-ioN® (doses 50:50) as well as Ammonium glufosinate combined with WEED Solut-ioN® (doses 50:50). The use of WEED Solut-ioN® (doses 50:50) that are able to reduce the use of herbicide volume can certainly reduce the cost of using herbicides.
