Abstract

The aims of this research were to know (1) the production cost and farmer income from prima vegetable farming (2) the (R/C) prima vegetable farming ratio, (3) the internal and external factors which are influential towards prima vegetable farming. This research was conducted from March to Mei 2017, at Samarinda City, Districts of North Samarinda and Loa Janan Ilir. The subjects of this research were the farmers who had certificate of Prima 3 from OKKPD of East Borneo Province. The methods of data analysis are cost and profit, R/C ratio, and SWOT analysis. The average of production cost was IDR48,301,444.74 cropping season (cs)-1 ha-1 and the average of revenue was IDR14,000,000.00 cs-1 or IDR88,888,888.89 cs-1 ha-1. The average of profit was IDR6,443,647.45 cs-1  or  IDR40,587,444.15 cs-1 ha-1. The R/C ratio was 1.84 that meant prima vegetable could be developed because the R/C > 1. Agresive strategy could be used to develop the prime vegetable farming.

Abstract

This research aims to know the attitude of consumers, the level of satisfaction, and what product attributes that are considered consumers before buying the broiler carcass in traditional market of Samarinda City. The data retrieval research conducted during November 2016. The basic method of research is using descriptive method, and it’s implementation with the technique level. The location of the study was chosen intentionally in Samarinda City by taking 3 traditional markets as a sample. The determination of the number of samples is done proportionally and the technique of determining the sampling method by chance (Accidental sampling) with the number of samples of 50 respondents. The type of data used is primary data and secondary data with data collection techniques by observation, interview, and recording. The analysis used is Fishbein Multi Attribute attitude analysis and to analyze satisfaction using Customers Satisfaction Index. The result of the research based on analysis of Fishbein Multiatribut known to consumer attribute value toward color attribute 16.80, weight (16.48), aroma (15.76), skin hygiene (14.57) and price (13.11). Based on Costumer Satification Index the level of customer satisfaction on broiler carcass is 77.11%. Result of research based on analysis of Fishbein Multi Attribute known consumer attitude toward carcass is “positive” which means consumers are well-receptive to broiler carcass in traditional markets with most attributes considered in the purchase decision of chicken carcasses in traditional markets of Samarinda City is the color of broiler carcasses. The order of attributes from the most considered to the least considered is color, carcass weight, aroma, skin hygiene and broiler carcass price. Based on Customer Satisfaction Index of consumer satisfaction level against broiler carcass is 77.11% who are satisfied category.

Abstract

The demand for leaf wrapped tempe in Sub District Loa Kulu is influenced by several factors such as income, taste, number family member, expectation future and tempe price. The purposes of this research were to identify and analyze factors influencing the demand of household industry and to know the amount of elasticity of demand of leaf wrapped tempe in Sub District Loa Kulu, District Kutai Kartanegara.This research was conducted from Maret  to April  2017, at Sub District Loa Kulu.The subjects of this research were the exsisting market in Loa Kulu and that sale tempe leaf wrapped.            The data was taken used questionnaires and interviews. Samples taken as many 44 people from 51,453 population.Respondents were taken purposively, who had bought leaf wrapped. Factors demand in the analysis with calculation tool SPSS and the magnitude of elasticity is calculated using manual formula.The result of this showed that income, number family member had significant effect on α = 0.05. While the taste factor, expectation future and price tempe has no significantly effect on α = 0.05. against the demand for leaf wrapped tempe. value of 32.2% means the demand variable tempe leaf wrapped can be explained by income, taste, number family member, expectation future and tempe price, the rest is explained by other factors of 67.8%. And the magnitude of elasticity coefficient on demand of leaf wrapped tempe was 0.08.Demand for leaf wrapped tempe in Sub District Loa Kulu is influenced by several factors such as income, number family member. Magnitude the coefficien of elasticity of demand for leaf wrapped tempe is inelastic category. Keywords: Demand, Leaf Wrapped Tempe, Sub District Loa Kulu

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan mengetahui biaya produksi, penerimaan, dan keuntungan peternak sapi potong di Desa Karya Jaya Kecamatan Samboja Kabupaten Kutai Kartanegara.  Penelitian dilaksanakan menggunakan metode survei melalui pendekatan purposive sampling dengan pertimbangan responden merupakan peternak yang memiliki sapi potong 3 sampai 12 ekor.  Data yang diperoleh bersumber dari data primer, dan data sekunder, serta dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif, menggunakan rumus-rumus untuk mengetahui biaya produksi, penerimaan, dan keuntungan yang diterima peternak.  Hasil analisis diperoleh rata-rata biaya produksi peternak sapi potong untuk menunjang usahanya mencapai Rp.28.389.080.-/th, dan dari diperoleh penerimaan Rp.62.672.973.-/th, serta keuntungan sebesar Rp.34.283.893.-/th.  Usaha peternakan sapi potong mampu memberikan keuntungan terhadap peternak, dan kemungkinan mampu memberikan peningkatan kesejahteraan peternak
